179. More Strength

Facts have proved that Jin Chong's decision was correct.

His wife soon had a baby, and Qian Jiujin gave her ample maternity leave. Later, when the child went to school, Qian Jiujin even wrote a letter of recommendation to get him into an aristocratic school.

Two years ago, Jin Chong's old father suddenly became seriously ill. Qian Jiujin not only helped him find the best doctor, but also gave him a lot of leave so that he could wait patiently until his father was out of danger.

Jin Chong told Qian Jiujin that he could devote himself to working for Qiankun because Qian Jiujin solved all his worries.

He felt that as long as Qian Jiujin was there, he wouldn't have to worry about any accidents, and he would feel that all difficulties were temporary.

"Boss Qian! One more person means more strength!" Jin Chong said, "I'm not afraid of trouble. If there's any problem, we'll just take precautions and solve it at the same time!"

"Jin Chong, it's not that I'm too cautious, nor do I think you're timid." Qian Jiujin shook his head, "It's really dangerous!"

"Mr. Qian! If there is any danger, you should bear it by yourself. Why don't you let me lend a hand?" Jin Chong had no intention of backing down.

"I'll tell you slowly when we get back to the office! Remember to keep it a secret! And don't tell your wife!" Qian Jiujin had no choice but to agree because he couldn't resist Jin Chong's loyalty.

Qian Jiujin and Lu Guansheng originally planned to resolve the matters concerning the Hades Emperor in a low-key manner.

But somehow, gradually, more and more people were involved, and the way of handling it became more and more obvious.

Perhaps, facing the Hades is the calamity that Qian Jiujin must go through in this life?

I briefly told Jin Chong what I could say. No matter how surprised he was, he still had to do the next thing step by step.

When Jin Chong left Qian Jiujin's office, he tried hard to appear mature, indifferent, and dedicated to his job. But inside, he was churning like a hot pot, bubbling with a chaotic mess.

Soon, Wu Le arrived.

"Assistant Jin, Mr. Qian wants to see me?" Wu Le pleaded timidly. "Is it because I took a leave of absence this morning and need to undergo ideological education?"

"What are you thinking about?" Jin Chong tried hard to pretend to be as usual.

Knowing that Wu Le, this good man, was actually a member of the dark organization, he found it really difficult to adjust his attitude and treat him normally.

To say less and make fewer mistakes, Jin Chong quickly opened the door of Qian Jiujin's office and made a "please" gesture.

"Why did I choose this time to ask?" Jin Chong felt a little regretful. "I should have waited until after get off work to satisfy my curiosity!"

Keeping a poker face has never been Jin Chong's strong point. If he had asked before leaving get off work, he would at least have one night to digest it, right?

Fortunately, Wu Le can go home after his problem is solved. God bless him and don’t make a fool of himself!

Not having the ability to concentrate right now, Jin Chong simply put down his work for the time being and went to the lounge next door to make some coffee.

It's said that brewing tea can calm the mind and cultivate one's character. Jin Chong wasn't that skilled and didn't understand tea. But there was a filter coffee set lying in the lounge, and in Jin Chong's opinion, the effort required was similar to brewing tea.

It had been an unknown amount of time since anyone had used it. Jin Chong rinsed the coffee set, trying to recall who in the secretary's office had brought it over in the guise of a hipster.

It couldn't be the Logistics Department! The Logistics Department was full of stingy people, and there were also pragmatists like Wu Le.

"Oh! I never thought that Wu Le would be a spy!" Jin Chong was still adjusting himself.

In Qian Jiujin's office.

It was the same old routine. As soon as Wu Le sat down, Qian Jiujin opened the golden bell cover and repeated the same words.

Wu Le's reaction was not as immediate as Sun Xizhen's, where he became incoherent and flustered.

He just sat there quietly, thinking, as if he was weighing the pros and cons, or as if he was distinguishing truth from falsehood.

"You have your cell phone with you, right?" Qian Jiujin noticed Wu Le's caution, and then used the little trick Lu Guansheng taught him to try to convince Wu Le that he was really safe.

Wu Le took his cell phone out of his pocket, but he held it tightly.

"I don't need to look at your phone, don't worry!" Qian Jiujin said, "But I can tell you very clearly that your phone is turned off right now. I've cut off your information monitoring."

Wu Le listened to Qian Jiujin's confident words and slowly relaxed his clenched fist. He pressed a few buttons and found that the phone was turned off.

He looked at Qian Jiujin and hesitantly pressed the start button. After waiting for a while, Wu Le looked at Qian Jiujin again with a slightly questioning look.

"I told you, all signals are blocked. There is no signal here at all." Qian Jiujin showed Wu Le the display of his own mobile phone.

Although Wu Le had believed Qian Jiujin's words, he remained silent. The lives of his wife and children depended on his every move, so he dared not be careless.

Qian Jiujin was not in a hurry. He simply opened the tablet and handed it to Wu Le: "Your worries have been solved. Take a look first! When you have thought it through, we can talk again."

When Wu Le mentioned his worries, he instantly raised his eyes. Wasn't his worry about the safety of his wife and children? Had Qian Jiujin really solved the problem?

Wu Le took the tablet, clicked the play button, and began to watch it carefully.

There was another operating room on the screen, which reminded him of the terrifying night six years ago.

However, this video inexplicably didn't frighten him. Perhaps it was due to a different perspective, or a different target audience?

The video from six years ago was obviously shot intentionally for him to watch. It was shot from a level angle, with a masked doctor who was talking to the camera.

In this video, all the doctors look normal, and the equipment is also high-end hospital equipment.

The perspective was that of surgical monitoring. The entire process consisted only of professional communication between medical staff. It was not a video shot for him to watch.
