267. Looking for trouble

On a Saturday in mid-September, Zhao Siwang came to the bar again.

After waiting for two days, Zong Ya, the second-generation rich man who had become familiar with everyone in the bar, finally saw his target.

"Hey! Brother Zong! The person you're curious about is here!" In the bar, a regular customer, Wang Ran, was chatting with Zong Ya. When he saw Zhao Siwang come in, he pursed his lips.

"Him? He doesn't look special! I guess he's just a big talker who brags all day long!" Zong Ya said this deliberately.

"We've seen the photos, and it seems like he really is in charge of these babies!"

"Photos? What can photos say? There are tons of them online! I don't believe them!"

"If you don't believe me, ask him yourself!" Wang Ran immediately called out, "Zhao Siwang! Over here!"

"Hey! Brother Wang! Why are you here so early today?" Zhao Siwang saw that it was an acquaintance, so he walked over with wine.

"Brother Zhao, this is a young man from out of town. We've gotten to know each other over the past few days. Would you like to meet him?"

"What's your name, little brother?" Zhao Siwang greeted him.

"Zong Ya." Zong Ya raised his glass to toast and drank it in one gulp.

Seeing that Zong Ya was so cheerful, Zhao Siwang drank the vodka in his hand in one gulp.

"Generous!" Seeing Zhao Siwang down the wine in one gulp, Zong Ya said to the bartender, "Add more wine, Brother Zhao! It's my treat!"

The food here wasn't cheap, and Zong Ya had long known Zhao Siwang's financial situation. If someone didn't buy him alcohol regularly, he wouldn't be able to afford more than a few drinks.

But he just loved drinking in this incredibly expensive bar. The reason, of course, was that it was full of rich people, which suited his vanity and his love of showing off.

What Zong Ya wants is his vanity. If he is not vain, this play really can't go on!

Without getting straight to the point, Zong Ya bought Zhao Siwang five or six rounds of liquor, mixing and matching a variety of drinks. Why? Just so he could get drunk and make irrational decisions!

Seeing that Zhao Siwang was already half drunk, Zong Ya started to talk.

"I heard from people here that you're guarding treasures in Qiankun's antique club. Is that true?"

"That's fake!"

"You never know! Treasures in a place like this are definitely well-protected. How can anyone see them?"

"Security is good, but I'm not just any guy! Most of the treasures that come into our warehouse have been handled by me!"

"Handling? It's just moving a few boxes! What's the big deal?" Zong Ya deliberately belittled his profession.

"Move a few boxes?" Zhao Siwang hated being called a mover. "Those tasks involve checking the goods and entering data! How can it be as simple as just moving boxes?"

"So, you also know about antiques?"

"After so many years of looking at antiques, I've become somewhat knowledgeable. I'm not exaggerating, I can still tell the real from the fake!"

"Really? Then let me test you."

"What are you going to test me on?"

"Here! I have some photos here. I heard they're famous Song Dynasty porcelain. Can you take a look and see if they're genuine?"

As he spoke, Zong Ya opened a webpage for Zhao Siwang to see. This webpage was of course not real, it was made by Hei Zai to fool people.

The website said this set of Song Dynasty porcelain was for sale for 10 million yuan, and the picture above was exactly the same photo of the pair of vases in the Qiankun Antiques Club.

Zhao Siwang took a look and felt that it looked familiar. He immediately took out his mobile phone, logged into the employee website, and opened the inventory information.

After searching, he found the original data of this set of vases. Comparing it with the vase in Zong Ya's hand, he sneered: "It's a very similar imitation! But this person must be selling a fake!"

"How do you know?" Zong Ya was deliberately curious.

"Look! These vases are sitting safely in our warehouse! How could anyone possibly sell them?"

"Perhaps there are more than just this pair of vases?"

"Impossible!" Zhao Siwang still had some confidence. "Look! The information says these are the only two survivors. There definitely won't be a third!"

"Maybe the ones in your warehouse are fake, and the ones that person is selling are the real ones?"

"Do you think what you said is reasonable? Could there be fake goods in the Qiankun warehouse?"

"That's hard to say!" Zong Ya said with disdain, "You say one thing, he says another. There's no evidence! You can say whatever you want!"

"I'm telling you, I've seen this pair of vases with my own eyes! They're definitely not fake!"

"Go ahead and brag! No one here has ever seen it, so you can say whatever you want!"

"How can you be like this? Do I need to brag?"

"Why not? Isn't it just to get everyone to buy you some wine?" Zong Ya revealed the truth, but Zhao Siwang didn't want to admit it!

"I don't like what you said! Let's be friendly in the bar. Don't make me sound like a liar!"

"Since you say you're not a liar, then show us some real stuff! We have so many people watching here! Everyone is curious about whether you have really seen these treasures, right?"

"Yeah! Yeah!" Wang Ran also wanted to know if he was telling the truth. He had bought a lot of wine for Zhao Siwang in the past, so he had to get something in return, right?

"How do you want me to prove it? Take a picture of you?"

"Taking pictures isn't enough!" Zong Ya finally got to the point. "We need to show you the real thing, right?"

"Are you kidding me? Can you just take anything out of the Qiankun warehouse?"

"Are you scared?" Zong Ya said, "Aren't you in charge of the warehouse? Why don't you just take it out secretly for a day and return it the next day?"

"That's right! We are just looking at it! We are not jealous of your things!" Wang Ran was also drunk and started to make a fuss.

"If you can't prove it, then buy everyone a round of drinks to make amends! Don't brag anymore!" Zong Ya said, "If you can prove it and let everyone see it, I'll pay for all your drinks from now on!"
