That was a day ten years ago.
Miaoshou Dean had just graduated from medical school. At 27, he had completed his doctoral program and two years of internship ahead of schedule and was accepted as a physician at Dilong Hospital.
Newly admitted young relatives are usually marginalized because, as cell specialists, they are assigned to the organ transplant department where there is little competition.
Dilong was one step behind Jinhao and did not apply for a patent for organ cultivation, so the organs here still rely on traditional donations.
The reason why it is unpopular is that donation and transplantation are not very profitable, which is much less popular than mechanical organ transplantation which has been carried out for more than 10 years.
Dilong had already planned to close the department, but Dean's skills were superb, and the success rate of those who underwent surgery under his guidance was 100%.
In just two years, he became the star doctor of the department.
As his reputation grew, he encountered obstacles in closing down his department. The unfortunate thing was that this obstacle did not come from Dilong, but from his colleagues in his own department.
Unlike them, Dean pursues his dream, while his colleagues hope that the department can be closed so that they can switch to the mechanical organ transplant department to make big money.
This led to the medical accident caused by the infected organ. Emperor Long had no intention of investigating the whole matter and simply expelled him from the Medical Association, and then took advantage of the situation to close the transplant department.
Not only that, Dilong also used this as an advertisement, belittling the unreliability of biological organ transplants and touting the advantages of mechanical organs.
Dean's lifelong dream, his beloved profession, had been defamed by Dilong. As a proud scientist, this was even more unbearable than having him take the blame.
At this point, Dean hated Dilong and vowed to be irreconcilable with him!
But without his medical association certification, Dean couldn't find a job. He couldn't be anything other than a cytologist.
After paying the patients, I was left with very little. By chance, I learned about the Science Foundation and decided to join it.
It doesn’t matter if his life is not rich, as long as he can continue to do his research, he will be satisfied!
"What is the principle behind the Emperor Dragon's mechanical organs?" Upon hearing this, Lu Guansheng had a targeted question.
"It's made of titanium alloy fiber and silicone, and uses a nuclear battery." Dean told Lu Guansheng everything he knew. "The battery life is ten years, and replacing it costs at least five hundred thousand, and it's a pinhole surgery."
"Pinhole surgery? Is it so easy to replace the battery of an organ?" Lu Guansheng was a little bit unbelieving.
"When it was originally designed, they installed the batteries on the outside of the organ, making it easy to disassemble." Dean nodded in confirmation.
"So that's how it is!" Lu Guansheng seemed to understand. "Nuclear batteries all have radiation. If they're installed on the periphery, the safety factor won't be too high, right?"
"I doubt it too. But nothing has happened in the past twenty years. What can I say to refute it?" Dean said with some disdain.
"The time has not come yet!" Lu Guansheng's words were a double entendre, because he knew that something would happen in a few months!
If his guess was correct, the medical accident was most likely related to batteries. Unfortunately, how could he get evidence?
Lu Guansheng thought of Heizi.
After Miaoshou left, Lu Guansheng carefully recalled the time of the medical accident, and then went to find Heizi.
"Boss, do you want me to have a mission? I finally don't have to be an idler anymore?" Heizi has been bored to death lately.
“Yes! I want you to secretly monitor Dilong Hospital.” Lawrence Lu nodded.
"Which aspect do you want to monitor?" Hei Zai became more energetic when he had something to do!
Dilong's security system is really good, this mission is going to be interesting!
"See if you can hack into the operating room surveillance without being discovered."
"Which operating room do you want?"
"The operating room for mechanical organ transplantation." Lu Guansheng asked him to take his time looking for it. There was no rush. The most important thing was to keep it secret.
"What do you want this for?"
"First, please help me record the entire surgical process. It would be best if you could capture the details of their mechanical organs."
"Okay! I'll study it first and contact you when the time comes!"
When it comes to communication, they still use traditional mobile phones, which Lu Guansheng always feels unsafe.
"First, you and Pi Dan should work together to develop a communication tool. It would be best if it could be installed in a watch and powered by a quartz battery." Lu Guansheng came up with an idea. "The communication band should be strictly encrypted. When the time comes, we can use this thing to communicate."
"Talking to a watch is a bit weird, isn't it? How about I design a micro transceiver? Let's get our ears pierced and get studs?"
"Good idea, let's do it!" Lu Guansheng already had pierced ears, but he stopped wearing ornaments after he started working.
Soon, Jinhao launched the "Transplant Revival" plan.
It was still through the news that Jinhao's new breakthrough in organ cultivation was broadcast, emphasizing the advantages of this breakthrough.
Within a week, Jinhao Hospital's phone lines were flooded with inquiries daily. Many patients and their families, who could not afford mechanical organ donations and were waiting for them, called in.
There were also patients who were already waiting for Jinhao's organs and expressed their interest in re-cultivation. The good news that the critical period had been shortened made them decide to give it a try.
Lu Guansheng asked each patient in the hospital to consult, estimated the feasibility, and offered discounts without additional payment, which really gave those patients peace of mind.
In order to increase public confidence, Lu Guansheng also sought the opinions of patients, hoping that everyone could participate in the live treatment.
The livestream began two days before the transplant and continued until one month afterward. More than half of the patients expressed their willingness to participate in the pilot livestream.
