Downstairs, Chen Ji helped the still dazed Jiang Jie into his car and drove towards the hospital.
About five minutes later, Jiang Jie's voice came from the passenger seat: "Ji? Why am I in your car? Where are we going?"
"Hey! Are you finally back to your senses?" Chen Ji breathed a sigh of relief. "You scared me to death just now!"
"What happened to me just now?" Jiang Jie seemed a little confused.
"You! You! You looked like you've lost your soul just now. You were just... like a wooden chicken! And you covered your ears! You scared me to death!"
"I'm fine. Where are we going?" Jiang Jie asked again.
"Go to the hospital! Get a brain scan. I'm afraid you haven't fully recovered from the concussion yet!"
"Hospital?" Jiang Jie was startled when she heard these two words. "I'm not going to the hospital!"
"Stop making trouble! Concussion is no small matter. What if there are sequelae? Be obedient!" Chen Ji advised with concern.
"I said! I'm not going to the hospital! Stop the car!" While shouting, Jiang Jie reached out to grab the steering wheel.
This is on the main road! How dangerous is that?
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Don't get excited! It's dangerous!" Chen Ji quickly grabbed the steering wheel with both hands and stopped at the isolation strip. "Isn't one car accident enough?"
"I'm not going to the hospital!" Jiang Jie continued to yell.
"Okay, okay! I won't go! I won't go!" Chen Ji surrendered. "What's wrong with you? Why are you so excited when you mention the hospital?"
Jiang Jie stammered, unable to articulate a clear reason. Finally, she managed a reason, which she wasn't sure if it could be considered an excuse: "I've been lying in the hospital for too long, and I have psychological problems."
"By the way... are you really okay?" Chen Ji looked at Jiang Jie worriedly. "The way you looked just now... was really scary!"
"I said it's okay, so it's okay! Why are you so annoying?" Jiang Jie yelled subconsciously.
After yelling, seeing Chen Ji's surprised expression, he paused and put on a gentle smile: "Um... I didn't mean it! I'm sorry! I'm really fine and don't want to go to the hospital!"
Glancing at Chen Ji who was still staring at her, Jiang Jie thought of another excuse: "Maybe the medical beauty injections have side effects. I just suddenly had a headache."

"Okay! I'll take you home and you should have a good rest." Since Jiang Jie was determined not to go to the hospital, she no longer forced her.
Even though she was a good friend and she was afraid that her brain might be damaged, Chen Ji still felt a little uncomfortable after being yelled at for no reason.
Chen Ji's kindness was taken for granted, and he felt like a fly had caught in his soup, his stomach churning.

Chen Ji was so busy that he had no extra time to care about Jiang Jie's condition.
"Jie, there will be a trial next month. Do you want to go with me?" Chen Ji chatted with Jiang Jie in the lounge again after get off work.
Ever since the car accident, Jiang Jie seems to be particularly fond of sticking to Chen Ji.
Chen Ji didn't mind. It had been a long time since she had the pressure of taking care of children, and it was also relaxing to chat with her best friend after get off work.
Of course, it would be better if Jiang Jie didn’t talk about work!

Wearing safety helmets and iron-toed boots, a group of people walked into the amusement park construction site in twos and threes.

Chen Ji's twin sons, one named Shen Yi and the other Shen Ren, followed Chen Ji to the construction site, but instead of following Chen Ji, they held onto Zhu Yuhang on either side.
Zhu Yuhang has gotten used to it over the past few years. He took his two little fans by the hand, nodded to Chen Ji, and took the two boys on a tour.
