Chapter 220: Sleeping with the Ghost in Front of Me (17)
"Master, look at this..."
The middle-aged man is the head of a residential area.
A few days ago, someone complained that they saw a ghost in the corridor.
The middle-aged man didn't want to intervene, but more and more people wanted to check out.
He was at his wit's end and happened to run into Ji Ran.
That's why we invited him to come to Xingfu Community to catch ghosts.
Building xxx of Xingfu Community is the building where Asi is staying.
In the past few days, the resentment in that building has been growing.
Even ordinary people can feel the cold air around that building.
People in several surrounding buildings were so scared that they no longer dared to live there.
Ji Ran was still wearing his worn short-sleeved trousers and a pair of gray cloth shoes.
"What do you want?"
Middle-aged man: "Master, you're a ghost catcher, right? Go catch all the ghosts in that building! If this continues, no one will live here, the house won't sell, and I'll be starving!"
"You tell me, any price is fine!"
Ji Ran lowered his eyes and said coldly: "I don't want money, I just catch ghosts."
The middle-aged man smiled apologetically, "Master, you are truly selfless!"
Ji Ran stood tall and graceful, and the sunlight shining on his body did not give people a sense of warmth, but rather a slight chill.
The middle-aged man held down his thigh, which was shivering from Ji Ran's cold, and looked at him.
Ji Ran suddenly raised his eyes.
The dark eyes looked straight into the middle-aged man's eyes.
He said, "I only catch ghosts, and the ones I catch are evil ghosts."

Asi squatted aside and sighed.
Xiaomei floated around in the corridor.
Water was dripping down her wet long hair.
Asi finally couldn't stand it anymore.
"Wow!" she cried.
Xiaomei got a headache from the noise, and when she glanced at him with cold eyes, Asi cried even louder.
"Stop crying!"
"I won't. I'll just cry!"
Asi wiped his tears and looked at Xiaomei with aggrieved eyes.
He counted off the incidents one by one, counting on his fingers. "Seven days ago, you scared away the newlyweds downstairs. Five days ago, you scared away the old man downstairs whose cooking smelled amazing... Yesterday, you scared a lot of children in the hallway to tears. Did you know that people outside say our building is haunted?"
Xiaomei floated down and stroked her wet long hair.
“It’s haunted.”
Ash's eyes widened.
Sure enough, Xiaomei said: "I am a ghost..."
"I don't want to listen." Asi covered his ears.
But Xiaomei's sharp voice still came through, "You are a ghost too."
"Humph, you are no longer my good friend!"
Xiaomei didn't care at all, "Haven't I stopped being one a long time ago?"
Asi pursed his lips, looked at the fierce Xiaomei with wet eyes, and snorted heavily.
"You drove them all away. No one comes to live here anymore. I don't even have anyone to say hello to..."
Asi is most afraid of being alone.
The most terrifying thing.
Xiaomei: "Heh, did they say hello to you?"
Asi squatted on the ground and hugged himself.
No one, no one greeted Asi.
But, when someone lives here.
Whether it's quarreling or making noise, cursing or laughing, it's all filled with the flavor of life.
The human world is something that even a god like Asi would envy.
-
"What's wrong?"
Ji Ran squatted down.
For the first time, he reached out and ruffled the little girl's soft black hair.
It scratched softly on the palm of his hand, making Ji Ran feel itchy inside.
Asi raised his eyes, his dark eyes still filled with tears.
Those were the purest eyes Ji Ran had ever seen.
He curled his lips.
The little girl sniffed and raised one hand to wave at herself.
"You're back!"
Ji Ran is back.
Ah Si now has someone to say hello to again.
