"We passed by here that day and took a casual look, but didn't find anything!" Fu Hongzhou said seriously.
"Maybe we didn't check it carefully, or I was careless and didn't think of using my mental power to investigate!" Mu Qingli said with some annoyance.
"I didn't pay much attention to such an abandoned pit. If you release your mental power just by walking to any place, your mental power will definitely become disordered and abnormal!" Fu Hongzhou joked with a smile.
"You're still in the mood to joke!" Mu Qingli glared at Fu Hongzhou and said.
"Don't be nervous! It's no big deal! Even if we have superpowers, we are just human beings, not gods. It is impossible for us to be perfect in every aspect! Don't be too harsh on yourself! Besides, Long Xu said that day that after this place was dug up by tomb robbers, the Haiguo archaeological team came to clean it up again!" Fu Hongzhou whispered.
"They went in!" Mu Qingli stared at the backs of the two people and attached his mental power to them.
"Let's go!" After understanding their whereabouts, Mu Qingli said, "Let's go," and led the way.
Entering the abandoned tomb, the light instantly dimmed.
Mu Qingli estimated the distance between herself and the two people and made sure that they would not notice the light here before taking out a flashlight.
All that was left in the pit was a bare corridor. There might have been murals or something on the stone walls on both sides of the corridor, but now they had been scraped away and were uneven, mottled and messy.
I don’t know whether it was the work of tomb robbers, or the archaeological team sorted out the remains and moved them away later.
After a casual glance, Mu Qingli turned off the flashlight and took Fu Hongzhou's hand and walked forward to prevent him from falling.
Soon, Mu Qingli and the others heard Jerry and Mary's voices again.
"Jerry, this ghost place is so dark and scary! Why don't you let them follow?" Mary said a little fearfully.
"What's there to be afraid of? There's nothing here!" Jerry said impatiently.
These women are such a hassle. I really regret bringing her to the Sea Country.
"I'm scared!" Mary was still a little timid. After all, there were only the two of them today.
"Think about the glory we would have if we shipped these treasures back to our country and displayed them in our family museum, then you wouldn't be afraid anymore!" Jerry said coldly.
Mary fell silent after hearing this, probably thinking about what Jerry said.
"Bastard!" Mu Qingli cursed through gritted teeth.
"Hongzhou! Wait for me!" Mu Qingli said, and walked quickly forward.
She deliberately made her footsteps louder.
Mu Qingli's footsteps were particularly obvious in this empty underground palace, and even echoed.
At this time, Jerry and Mary also heard the sound of "tapping" footsteps, and the sound seemed to be right behind them.
"Who!" Jerry shouted and turned around to look.
There was nothing behind him, and Mu Qingli had instantly entered the space.
"Jerry!" Mary began to tremble with fear again.
"Don't be suspicious! There's no one here!" After saying that, he turned and walked forward.
"Jerry! What is that?" Mary grabbed Jerry suddenly, and Jerry jumped up with a scream.
It would be a lie to say he's not afraid. This guy is just holding on.
When Jerry waved the flashlight just now, he saw a human-shaped dark shadow in front of him. When he raised the flashlight and shone it over again, there was nothing.
Jerry was instantly frightened and broke out in a cold sweat. He put the flashlight in his left hand, intending to take out the pistol. He reached out to touch the belt around his waist, but found nothing.
"Mary! Where is my gun?" Jerry suddenly became nervous and asked quickly.
"Not on you!" Mary said, and touched Jerry's waist.
A small, boneless, cold hand, soft and smooth, was held tightly by her.
"Ah!" Mary let go of her hands instantly as if she had been electrocuted, and she collapsed in fear and cried.
"Mary! What's wrong with you?" Jerry quickly hugged Mary and asked.
"I, I felt it!" Mary cried.
"What did you touch? My gun?" Jerry asked puzzledly.
"No, it's a hand!" Mary said fearfully.
"That's my hand you're touching!" Jerry said, reaching out and holding Mary's hand.
The warm and rough touch made Mary realize instantly that what she had touched just now was a woman's hand, not Jerry's.
Thinking of this, Mary collapsed and hugged Jerry tightly, shaking all over and crying, her teeth chattering.
"No! Jerry! I'm sure that what I grabbed just now was a woman's hand that was icy cold!" Mary cried unbearably, her lips trembling so much that she could not speak.
Mu Qingli hid in the darkness, threw a piece of ice into the space, and shook his hands. Hmm, it’s so cool!
You little brat! I can't scare you to death! Do you still have time to think about shipping our cultural relics back to China?
"Mary! Don't scare yourself! Let's go! Let's grab our things and leave!" Jerry suppressed his fear and half-dragged and half-carried Mary forward.
This is so weird, could it be that such a thing really exists?
Lin Rui dragged Mary around in the tomb passage, occasionally using a flashlight to shine on the marks on the stone wall.
Mu Qingli and Fu Hongzhou followed behind, grinding their marks one by one to make them the same as the surrounding stone walls. If there were no marks, could you still find such a complicated tomb passage?
After walking for another half a day, we finally reached the end. This was the empty main tomb chamber. It was really empty and there was nothing in it.
Jerry and Mary went straight to where the coffin was originally placed and inserted a piece of iron into the gap between the floor tiles.
As the "cracking" sound continued, the stone wall on the east side of the main tomb chamber slowly rose up.
Mu Qingli and Fu Hongzhou hid at the entrance of the tomb and could just see the stone wall.
