Chapter 87 Imperial Concubine (27)

"I...I saw it was raining outside...I was worried that you would get wet...so I came to give you an umbrella."

Qiao Yu hid under the eaves near the wall of the Imperial College. The wind was not strong so she was not hit by the rain. However, Su Yu was too shy to follow her to hide from the rain immediately.

She was standing outside in the rain, holding the umbrella in her hand to hand it to him, and she forgot to wipe off the raindrops that blinded her eyes.

Su Yusheng is good-looking, with wet hair and tight clothes, he looks less gentle but more devilish, exuding a different kind of temptation.

"Hehe, I didn't expect the new champion to stutter. But do I look too scary?"

The girl giggled, showing no intention of giving him face.

The rain felt cool on Su Yu's body, but his face felt unusually hot. He wasn't annoyed by the girl saying she stuttered, but was afraid that she would misunderstand his opinion of her.

"How could that be? Miss Hua is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen... No, I don't mean to offend you."

Although he did think so, wasn't it frivolous to praise an unmarried woman so bluntly?

Su Yu was so anxious that he didn't know how to explain himself. The girl took out an embroidered handkerchief with her fair and tender hands and handed it to him:

"And you mean to blame me, Master? It's raining, Master, please wipe it. Thank you for the umbrella, Master. You can hold it yourself. I have asked the maid to go back and get the umbrella."

Su Yu seemed to have no other scenery in front of him, only the light yellow embroidered handkerchief in front of him. The joy in his heart almost made him feel a little light-headed.

"I'm so embarrassed... Thank you, young lady. Since you've asked someone to go back and get an umbrella, I won't bother you anymore."

Su Yu said no, but he immediately took her embroidered handkerchief. However, he didn't use it to wipe the rain off his body, as it would be bad if it got dirty.

He forced the umbrella onto Qiao Yu and turned away, immediately stuffing the handkerchief into his arms to avoid getting wet in the rain.

She looked at the oil-paper umbrella in her hand and then at the figure running away quickly, as if she was afraid that she would ask for the embroidered handkerchief back.

Qiao Yu smiled:

"fool."

The drizzle is still falling in the sky. The autumn rain comes quickly but it is not cold. It is refreshing and sweeps away the irritability and heat of summer.
