Chapter 48
You are a happiness that money can't buy.
The raucous and powerful music has a remarkable effect of making people's blood boil, while alcohol is the trigger for people to vent their frustrations in a dimly lit world.
Perhaps, what's more intoxicating than wine is a madwoman.
Cheng Sangluo was being pulled by her tie, forced to hunch her neck, and stumbled along behind Lin Jin.
She was at a loss, trying to figure out how to stop Lin Jin's overbearing behavior, but at this critical moment she was thinking about all sorts of other things.
She stared at that slender yet upright figure, her mind momentarily dazed. The air, filled with the fragrance of cedar, was as calming as ever, and she lost all reason.
So, while her mind wandered, she tried to absorb the familiar flavors, and the flush on her face made her feel lightheaded, as if she had been drinking.
Lin Jin led the small dog through the dimly lit corridor, her hurried steps exuding an unstoppable aura, as if she could kill anyone who stood in her way.
Until he barged into the bathroom.
She deftly hooked the door shut with the tip of her high heel, then quickly locked it from the inside, thus preventing anyone outside from disturbing her pleasure.
This series of actions was performed in one smooth motion, revealing a complex mix of emotions, both overt and covert, including impatience and pent-up anger.
Security downstairs is strict, preventing ordinary customers from going up to the second floor and disturbing VIPs. In addition, the private rooms are fully equipped, so the restroom at the end of the corridor has become the quietest corner of the bar.
The heavy doors shut out the noise from the outside world. In the champagne-colored space, only the dull rhythm of the sound system and the rhythmic breathing of the other people remained.
Cheng Sangluo couldn't pinpoint the source of her inexplicable nervousness, and could only respond to the sudden solitude with silence.
She was more cooperative than usual, moving with her own will, so she offered no resistance whatsoever.
As Lin Jin approached the marble sink, she changed her usual role and became the one who confined freedom.
She braced herself against Cheng Sangluo's side with one hand and pressed down on his broad shoulder with the other. Her pale face gradually flushed with anger.
But she didn't lash out with harsh words or unleash a furious rage. She simply stood there quietly, as if trying to pierce through Cheng Sangluo's soul to see what emotions lay hidden beneath her skin.
"You..." Cheng Sangluo felt uncomfortable under his gaze, and a tingling sensation ran through her fingertips, so she moved her lips, unsure of what to say to ease the tension, "What do you want?"
Lin Jin glanced at herself in the mirror, a hint of defeat flashing in her deep eyes. She was clearly furious, but she couldn't vent her anger at all when they were close.
Such emotions are trapped in my heart, causing a sharp pain in my chest and even hurting my eyes when they see them.
But Cheng Sangluo wasn't the only stubborn person; Lin Jin was also a stubborn and ruthless character. So she endured it and managed to suppress the urge to wetness.
The two, separated by a kiss, fell silent, each waiting for the other to take a step forward, even just a small one, so that the atmosphere might become clearer.
Cheng Sangluo sensed a hint of softness in the madwoman's demeanor, and her strong back, which had been leaning against the mirror, softened slightly as well.
She straightened her wrinkled tie, tilted her head to scrutinize the beautiful woman with reddish eyes, and muttered resentfully, "Only officials are allowed to set fires, while commoners are forbidden to light lamps?"
That's such a stubborn and inflexible mouth; in the end, it still can't utter anything pleasant.
Of course, she has reason to speak up for herself, since it's not her, Cheng Sangluo, who's the one with two women on either side.
"Tch." Lin Jin scoffed.
She probably found Cheng Sangluo's sulking cute, but she didn't expose how jealous someone was, or how sour they were.
The atmosphere seemed to have eased a bit.
Lin Jin grabbed Cheng Sangluo's tie again, pulling him close so he could see him more clearly.
She wanted those bright, sharp eyes to reflect only her own image. "You're so disobedient; you always ignore my warnings."
“I have a perfectly good reason not to tell you about going to work, so you won’t bother me again.” Cheng Sangluo leaned forward and subconsciously reached out to support the crazy woman’s soft waist. “I’m earning money to make a living and to pay off my debts. You shouldn’t take it out on me for this.”
"Are you blaming me for being unreasonable... or..." Lin Jin could easily tell that the puppy's words had a hidden meaning. She moved closer to his face, letting her nose brush against his trembling lips, and deliberately dragged out her question, "Are you blaming me for being affectionate with other women?"
Mentioning this, Cheng Sangluo suppressed the itch on her lips, pursed her lips, and turned her head away with an inexplicable displeasure.
She didn't respond; there were things she couldn't say, as if saying them would mean she really cared about the matter.
Lin Jin cupped her face and turned it towards him, her smile growing even brighter. "If you don't mind, you wouldn't want to hide, would you?"
"Hmph..." Cheng Sangluo pretended to be indifferent, "What do I have to mind? You should mind that I'm getting too close to Miss Shu."
When Shu Wan was mentioned, Lin Jin's smile froze a little. She glanced at the suit on the puppy and said, "You're dressed like a human being, and you even have the confidence to speak. Take off your coat, I think it's dirty."
Cheng Sangluo acted stubbornly, refusing: "I won't take it off."
"Do I really have to peel this skin off myself?" Lin Jin pressed, her hands already gripping Cheng Sangluo's collar and pulling it down. "I won't allow any people or things to get in our way, and Shu Wan even less so."
"Stop messing around!" Cheng Sangluo scolded in a low voice, easily grabbing the crazy woman by the waist, turning around and carrying her to the sink. "My relationship with her is completely innocent, not what you see."
"What kind of image did I see?" Lin Jin asked, raising an eyebrow. He wrapped his legs around the puppy's waist and pulled her close to his chest. "How does Shu Wan feel to hold? Does she smell good? Have you ever thought about sleeping with her?"
Those foul and obscene words drilled into Cheng Sangluo's ears, as if they had really been said and thought, which made her furiously scold, "Lin Jin! What nonsense are you talking about?"
Lin Jin leaned back against the mirror, chuckling lightly as if fanning the flames: "You shouldn't be questioning what I said, but rather firmly refuting that you didn't, right?"
"I never did!" Cheng Sangluo raised her voice again. Feeling a bit constrained, she angrily took off her coat and tossed it aside. "Are you satisfied now?"
"Is the puppy trying to show me its determination?" Lin Jin spread out her slender fingers and covered her face, exploring her burning cheeks and moving them towards the back of her head, before suddenly pressing them forcefully against her body. "Am I not more exciting than her, yet you're so obsessed with her?"
Cheng Sangluo knew that the crazy woman was just saying things out of anger. She was about to retort when her head was pressed down and buried in a fragrant snowfield.
Lin Jin straightened her proud, snow-white breasts, and chuckled, "It's really exciting to do it in a different place every now and then~"
"Lin... um..." Cheng Sangluo tried to escape in a panic, but her rationality was shattered by the rich aroma that filled her nostrils.
Lin Jin pulled off the puppy's hair tie, stroked the hair with her palm, and then lifted a strand to her nose to sniff it.
“If you don’t want it, you can push me away. You’re so strong, pushing me away would be a piece of cake for you.” She spoke the truth and even offered a good solution.
Cheng Sangluo struggled to lift her head, trying to calm her disordered breathing, her voice filled with a weak pleading tone: "I'm still at work... this isn't a good place... please don't make things difficult for me..."
Upon hearing the word "difficult," Lin Jin smiled with a long-lost feeling. He was practically offering himself up to her, so how could it be difficult?
“You’re at work right now, serving a VIP like me is what you should do. Besides, this place is perfect. I even wish Shu Wan were standing outside the door so she could hear what you wanted from me.” She spouted a string of fallacies, then casually lifted her black gauze skirt and covered Cheng Sangluo’s head. “You’re angry and jealous, and you know exactly what you want right now. Why put yourself through this hypocritical torment?”
Lin Jin's flirtatious tone was so alluring that she easily exposed Cheng Sangluo's reluctance to reveal her thoughts to others. So she stroked the puppy's head through her skirt, seemingly both comforting and encouraging it.
......
"Sangluo...you...um...you look so hungry..."
The spacious yet empty restroom amplified the sounds of Lin Jin's blissful intimacy.
She couldn't help herself, but there was also a hint of deliberate intent, as if she wanted to drown out the noise of the outside world and show that she was experiencing an enviable madness.
Cheng Sangluo remained silent, her indifferent demeanor contrasting sharply with the flamboyant and eccentric woman leaning against the mirror.
Her white shirt slid halfway down her shoulder blades, and her tie hung naturally around her neck, swaying gently from side to side as her arms moved.
When emotions ran high, she bent her back.
Her disheveled long hair concealed her eyes, which had lost their composure.
At that moment, she was generous and gave the madwoman everything she wanted.
Lin Jin straightened her toes.
She opened and closed her lips, speechless.
He could only keep gasping for breath.
The crimson eyes, illuminated by the dappled light from the ceiling lamp, shone even brighter as the puppy became more focused.
Before the chill sets in.
She looked terrified, clutching the ends of her tie with both hands and repeatedly reaching up to the back of Cheng Sangluo's neck.
Her voice was hoarse as she repeated, "You are mine...you can only be mine...no one can take you away...no one can..."
Over the past month, Cheng Sangluo had taken Lin Jin to climb countless mountain peaks, but this was the first time she had seen the crazy woman so anxious and uncertain.
Lin Jin didn't want to put on a one-woman show, so she urgently commanded, "Say it, you're mine, answer me!"
Even with such persistent questioning, Cheng Sangluo still did not respond.
She suddenly slowed down, as if she had slammed on the brakes.
It wasn't that I was being a spoilsport, but rather that I had a little selfish motive.
She wanted to prolong this sweet affair, and also to allow that frail woman to finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Unable to bear the abrupt pause, Lin Jin pleaded in a tearful voice, "You...you can't do this..."
"Lin Jin." The person who had been silent for so long finally spoke, his tone unexpectedly gentle, "I am not yours, I am my own. Sometimes not having something doesn't mean you don't belong to it."
Lin Jin was stunned. Her thoughts, which had long since scattered, made it impossible for her to figure out the meaning of the sentence for a moment, but it didn't seem to mean anything bad.
She wrapped her arms around the puppy's neck and pleaded in a soft voice, "Can you hug me again?"
Cheng Sangluo buried her head in Lin Jin's neck, finally voicing her pent-up displeasure in her passion, "I hate it when you're with those women... it makes me feel... like them, being sold at a price..."
“No…you’re different…” Lin Jin cradled the puppy’s chin, her fingertips trembling slightly. “You are something I can’t value, a happiness that money can’t buy, and a moon that I can’t grasp or scoop up…”
Words of deep affection are unforgettable, and Cheng Sangluo was unable to respond to matching sweet words for a moment.
She was always taciturn, always wanting to say valuable words at the right time, so she could only respond with honest actions.
She gently held Lin Jin's fingertip in her mouth, grinding it between her lips and teeth, releasing even more desire.
Lin Jin turned his head and kissed her ear, so as to convey the same tingling sensation and to empathize with each other's rare tenderness.
Another wave of blissful, unbridled joy washed over me.
Lin Jin continued to ramble on and on, her voice laced with uncontrollable laughter.
until...
'Bang bang bang—bang bang bang—bang bang bang—'
The bathroom door was being pounded on by someone outside, over and over again, with a stubborn refusal to stop.
The two embraced intimately, seemingly oblivious to what was happening, recklessly indulging in a world of pleasure.
The banging on the door slightly dampened Lin Jin's spirits. She frowned, looked towards the doorway, and whispered, "Come home with me, okay? You can do whatever you want here..."
Unexpectedly, it was Cheng Sangluo who was on the verge of execution.
"Am I not trying hard enough?" she replied, seemingly changing the subject, tightening her grip on his waist, and saying things to please Lin Jin: "Don't pay attention, just close your eyes and enjoy what we're doing..."
at the same time.
Shu Wan, who was standing outside the door, stopped banging on the door.
She held a whole bottle of foreign liquor in her hand, took a big gulp as if venting her anger, and her face was no longer the feigned gentleness she had shown; instead, her gloom was wrapped around a deep sadness.
She had never shown her true self like this before, so out of control, so agitated and restless.
Shu Wan heard it all.
The world inside the door was even more frenzied than the outside. A trembling, sobbing voice tirelessly called out Cheng Sangluo's name.
These three words suddenly became sharp thorns, piercing into her ears and her heart, and also becoming a kind of irony for Lin Jin.
Jealousy is a dangerous emotion that can turn a person into a monster.
