Chapter 75

Chapter 75

Finally learned how to please me

After receiving Cheng Sangluo's consent, Lin Jin quickly called Secretary Zhou to help her to the study.

Clearly, she was afraid the scoundrel would change his mind, so she didn't dare to delay for even a moment.

"Hey, hey, hey, what are you trying to do now that you've barely eaten a few bites?" Cheng Sangluo tapped the table impatiently. Although her tone wasn't very friendly, her words were full of concern for the crazy woman.

Lin Jin reached out and ruffled her hair, smiling warmly, then asked in a puppy-like tone, "What, you haven't even signed or sealed the agreement yet, and you're already interfering?"

"I didn't..." the puppy stubbornly insisted as usual, continuing to shovel rice into its mouth. "I can't be bothered with it."

Before long, Lin Jin led a group of lawyers into the study for a small meeting, while Cheng Sangluo was busy going back to her room to wash up and get ready.

Before entering the house, Zhou Ran called out to her, carrying two custom-made suits, "Miss Cheng."

Cheng Sangluo turned around and looked at the clothes in her hand, puzzled: "Is something the matter?"

"These two suits were specially made for you by General Manager Lin." Zhou Ran handed the ironed clothes to Cheng Sangluo. "Try them on and see if the size is right. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me."

"Made for me?" Cheng Sangluo hesitated as she took the clothes, somewhat puzzled. "I don't usually wear such formal attire."

Seeing that she was indeed not used to professional attire, Zhou Ran simply explained, "After you sign the agreement with President Lin, you will inevitably participate in some business activities from time to time and frequently come and go from the company, so it's better to dress more formally."

"Okay, thank you." Cheng Sangluo thanked her politely, then turned and slipped into the bedroom, gently closing the door behind her.

She laid the new clothes flat on the bed, pulled off the dust cover to look at the style, and then curiously touched the fabric, tilting her head in surprise.

The puppy couldn't understand why the fabric felt so soft and comfortable, yet still maintained its shape. It probably thought it was because it wasn't cheap.

She sat down on the edge of the bed, picked up her clothes, and, taking advantage of the fact that no one was around, pondered her next move.

After signing the marriage agreement and getting the marriage certificate, he would have to live with Lin Jin for a long time.

Without Sheng He, that crazy woman...

Bah! That woman has almost no one around to protect or take care of her; it seems that all the burdens of life have fallen on Cheng Sangluo's shoulders.

You have to pay more!

Yes, it's unreasonable to only get paid one salary for doing so many miscellaneous tasks; we need to get more money!

Thinking about this, Cheng Sangluo scratched her head, feeling that something was wrong, but she couldn't find the problem for a while. However, this sense of logic was somewhat strange.

In the afternoon.

Cheng Sangluo ultimately signed the marriage of convenience agreement against her will.

After seeing off the large group of people, she returned to her study and saw Lin Jin leaning lazily against the boss's chair, looking at the agreement over and over again. She said helplessly, "Stop looking at it. I'm already on your pirate ship. There's no changing that fact."

Lin Jin treasured this hard-won agreement, carefully locking it in the cabinet next to her desk before opening her arms for the puppy to hug her: "Now that you're on my pirate ship, how about we celebrate? Like, carry me to the bedroom..."

"Stop, stop." Cheng Sangluo knew that was what she was thinking about, so she interrupted her in time. "It's not dark yet, can't we do something more serious? For example, your father is still at the nursing home, shouldn't you go and see him? Or talk to Lin Sheng? Or go to the hospital, right, I promised to take you for a check-up!"

The puppy, as if waking from a dream, slammed its fist into the palm of his hand and strode over to the desk.

Without a word, she scooped Lin Jin up and headed for the bedroom, muttering, "Come on, come on, we need to get you checked out before Dr. Chi gets off work. I wonder if the metal pins in your foot have come loose after all that yesterday. What if they're dislocated and you need surgery again? Thank God, may God protect you..."

Lin Jin laughed at the puppy's chatter, then reached out and pinched its incessantly chattering mouth, saying, "You're so noisy, it hurts my ears."

Cheng Sangluo shook her head, avoiding the hand on her mouth, and continued babbling, "You think I'm long-winded? If we weren't in this together now, even if you were missing a leg, I wouldn't bother with you. I... um..."

"Shut up," Lin Jin scolded in a low voice, cupping the puppy's face and bringing it closer. It seemed that a kiss would be the only way to shut up that incessant mouth.

Cheng Sangluo's lips were sealed by a sudden kiss, and her already pitiful rationality vanished in an instant.

She turned around and went straight back to the boss's chair, put down Lin Jin who was hugging her, and put one hand on the back of the chair.

A kiss must be sincere to fully savor its passionate flavor.

Lin Jin breathed heavily, letting the puppy's tongue explore her world.

To create a unique atmosphere, she lifted her nightgown and covered Cheng Sangluo's head, trapping them in the small space.

Cheng Sangluo thought such a kiss was reasonable; even if there was no so-called love, it was at least a legitimate relationship.

She wrapped her arms around Lin Jin's waist and pressed herself against him, wreaking havoc on his sweet lips, her soft, bouncy tongue dancing and entwining with his.

Lin Jin smiled with satisfaction. She was in a better mood than ever before, because she had obtained the long-planned agreement, and because the puppy was now more proactive than she was in kissing it.

Everything seemed to have returned to the beginning, back to that night when emotions were stirred by aphrodisiacs. The difference today was that the feelings were uncontrollable and the interaction was voluntary.

"I want it," Lin Jin pleaded softly, her uninjured foot already resting on the puppy's waist. "What should I do?"

Cheng Sangluo always liked to corner this slender woman; perhaps subconsciously, it was a selfish act of possession.

"No." Cheng Sangluo was obsessed with the intertwining of lips and teeth, but beyond seeking the pleasure of caressing, she still retained a sliver of sobriety. "I have to take you to the hospital. This can't be delayed."

"Could we have five minutes for our kiss?" Lin Jin was unusually agreeable, even showing a willingness to negotiate. "Is that alright?"

Cheng Sangluo was taken aback, surprised that the person in her arms was actually discussing things with her. She simply smiled and nodded, "Five minutes isn't enough. How about we reserve it for ten minutes?"

As she spoke, she wrapped her arms around Lin Jin's waist and easily lifted him up to sit on the desk.

Even when kissing, you should try different places to enjoy different kinds of pleasure.

Lin Jin felt a brief sense of weightlessness, letting out a soft moan, which was quickly caught by the person in front of her, who then began to caress her tongue.

She braced herself with one hand behind her back, her spine tilting backward with inertia, while the other arm encircled the dog's neck, her entire body practically hanging off Cheng Sangluo.

By the end of the kiss, everything was a mess: clothes were disheveled, breathing was disordered, and hair was disheveled.

Cheng Sangluo held Lin Jin by the back of her neck, grabbed the camellia-patterned robe and put it to her lips, kissing the wound on the side of her neck wantonly through the thin veil.

The kiss, though amusing, was quite endearing, but it also elicited a painful hiss from Lin Jin.

The puppy looked up at the sound and asked knowingly, "Does it hurt?"

Lin Jin was both amused and exasperated: "It didn't hurt at first, but you kept kissing me, and I was worried you'd cause an infection."

"Really?" Cheng Sangluo asked naively, quickly avoiding her wound, and said somewhat embarrassedly, "I thought you would like a kiss like this."

"Oh~ so you thought I'd like that~" Lin Jin drawled, grabbing the puppy's collar and pulling her close. "Congratulations, you've finally learned how to please me~"

Cheng Sangluo's face flushed red, and she vehemently denied it: "What do you mean by trying to please... I... I didn't..."

Sure enough, all he was doing was being stubborn with his mouth.

"No?" Lin Jin whispered in her ear, taking advantage of the puppy's shyness, "Arsonist...do you know...what I'm doing now..."

The soft, sugary voice abruptly stopped. Cheng Sangluo's heart was itching with desire. She turned her head to stare at the woman who was causing trouble beside her ear, "What's wrong with you now? Tell me quickly."

"Wet." Lin Jin used only one word, yet it stirred up a storm in Cheng Sangluo's heart.

Seeing the puppy's face flush even more, she laughed even more arrogantly, feigning innocence, "If you don't believe me... explore it yourself... it's like a waterfall cave... it's all your fault for kissing it too much..."

ah! ! !

Cheng Sangluo couldn't stand such explicit words. She screamed inwardly, wishing she could cover Lin Jin's mouth with her hand. How could such words come out of his mouth? It was going to kill her.

*

The air was filled with the smell of disinfectant, which caused Cheng Sangluo to sneeze several times.

She kept rubbing her slightly itchy nose, biting her lip and remaining silent, afraid of disturbing Dr. Chi.

Chi Jue's office wasn't large, and it felt a bit crowded with Cheng Sangluo and Lin Jin in addition.

She held up the CT scan to look at the results, her brow furrowing slightly before switching to another scan to continue looking at it.

Cheng Sangluo didn't understand such professional things, but she could read micro-expressions. Seeing that Dr. Chi hadn't said a word for a long time and kept frowning, she thought that the result might not be satisfactory.

Her fingertips curled around the seam of her trousers, and she hesitated for a long time before asking, "Dr. Chi, is there something wrong with the injury on her foot... um...?"

The atmosphere was absolutely terrible.

Lin Jin, sitting in her wheelchair, seemed unconcerned. Despite being the one who was injured, she acted as if nothing had happened.

Chi Jue put down the film and turned to look at Lin Jin, who looked relaxed. "You're quite the troublemaker. Do you want to spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair?"

Lin Jin didn't say a word after being scolded. Instead, she looked pitifully at the puppy, her eyes brimming with tears, as if she could squeeze them out at any moment.

Cheng Sangluo knew she was playing the victim, but she still walked up to Chi Jue and shielded her from the reproachful gaze. "Um, Dr. Chi, just tell me what her condition is."

Chi Jue didn't give Cheng Sangluo any face, scolding her as well: "What's going on? If there was nothing wrong, would you have come to me for a checkup?"

As she spoke, she picked up the CT scan and held it up to the light, then pointed to a spot with a pen. "This steel nail has shifted slightly. What happened? Were you playing soccer with her?"

"Um... well... I was playing basketball with her..." Cheng Sangluo was at a loss. To ease the atmosphere, she could only make a small joke, and then quickly asked in a shushing tone, "What should we do? Does this situation require a second surgery to fix it?"

Chi Jue glanced at her seriously, and seeing that she was too flustered, his tone softened a little: "Observe her for a period of time, and don't let her walk around for the time being. Come back for a follow-up examination in a week. If the recovery is not optimistic, we will consider reoperation."

"Okay, okay, I promise I'll keep a close eye on her this time, and she'll be in a wheelchair wherever she goes." The puppy patted its chest and made a promise, then turned to wink at Lin Jin, looking like it was saying, 'I'll take the blame for you, aren't I amazing?'

Lin Jin remained silent to test Cheng Sangluo's attitude in handling things for her.

After all, they're about to get their marriage certificate, and there will be many things in the future that this nominal wife will need to do on her behalf.

Seeing the puppy looking silly and happy despite being unjustly scolded, I felt both that the person was foolish and incredibly cute.

Lin Jin smiled and reached out to hold Cheng Sangluo's palm, silently drawing a heart on it.

"Take good care of her foot these next few days. Remember, never put any heavy pressure on her injured ankle," Chi Jue instructed again, then pushed Cheng Sangluo aside, who was blocking his view, and stared intently at Lin Jin. "Shi Nian told me the gist of what happened yesterday. You'd better stay out of the way until her foot injury heals. Your grandfather is in the ICU now. If you still have to consider transferring him to another hospital, I will arrange it for you. At least before your brother's next move, you need to maintain control of the situation."

"Don't worry, Lin Zhen will die in the health center. He can't go anywhere else, and Lin Sheng can't take him away." When talking about the Lin family father and son, Lin Jin's smile was cold, but the smile was fleeting.

She paused, speaking to Chi Jue, but her gaze lingered on Cheng Sangluo's face. "Sangluo took good care of me, but there was an accident last night. I hurt my foot, so I'll trouble you again in a week, Sister Chi."

"Knock knock knock—"

During the conversation, there was a knock on the office door.

As Chi Jue handed the CT scans on the table to Cheng Sangluo, he looked towards the door and said, "Come in."

The door was gently pushed open.

A head wearing a police hat peeked out from the door frame, with two smaller heads peeking out below it.

Su Qiao held one little one in each hand. The two children looked like miniature versions of herself and Chi Jue.

"Mother!"

"Mother!"

The two little Puddings cheered and skipped into the office, quickly surrounding Chi Jue and begging her for a hug.

Chi Jue seemed to have been prepared, quickly taking out two anti-cavity baby candies from her white coat and giving them to the children, whispering, "What do you need to do before eating the candies?"

The two little ones, holding the candy their mother gave them, grinned foolishly, revealing their gap-toothed front teeth: "Wash your hands!"

Cheng Sangluo turned her head to look at the person who was following her. She remembered that Ji Nanxing had called her Su Qiao when they cracked down on the gambling den last time. She was the deputy captain of the criminal investigation team.

Lin Jin was Chi Jue's friend, so Su Qiao had naturally met her countless times.

After exchanging brief greetings, Su Qiao quickly picked up the two noisy children and scolded them in a shushing tone, "Stop making such a fuss, Mommy isn't off work yet, can you two be quiet!"

Looking at the fruit of their love, Lin Jin's eyes shone with a rare glint of envy. She possessed many things that others envied but could not obtain, such as love and happiness.

This woman always had a fake smile and her eyes weren't very perceptive, but she smiled indulgently at the two children.

Cheng Sangluo also likes children, especially twins dressed up like dolls.

She approached familiarly, gave Su Qiao a silly smile, and poked one of the two children's cheeks with her finger.

"It's time to get off work, so we won't disturb your family's happy time any longer," Lin Jin joked, then called to the dog to push her away. "Let's go, Cheng Sangluo."

Before leaving, she turned back to look at Chi Jue and added, "Sister Chi, please reconsider that matter. No one but you can handle it."
