Chapter 175: Extra Chapter Twenty-One: Imprinted on My Body

Chapter 175: Extra Chapter Twenty-One: Imprinted on My Body

Cheng Sangluo leaned quietly against the sofa, appearing languid, but in reality, her spine was tense.

Her gaze remained fixed on the elevator door, watching the floor indicator screen display the descending floors, and she inexplicably swallowed.

The feeling was subtle, a strange tension mixed with unprecedented anticipation.

During this brief wait, she had already become completely absorbed in her fantasies.

She imagined how Lin Jin would appear after the elevator doors opened—would she be sexy with a leaf covering her body, playful like a wildcat, or elegantly poised like a queen before her arrival?

These bizarre and fantastical reveries crowded into her mind, overflowing with a blush that made her heart flutter and itch, drawing a burning, intense gaze from him.

The moment the door opened, she pressed on to the image in her imagination, even unconsciously leaning forward slightly.

Lin Jin certainly did not disappoint the restless person; in fact, her appearance exceeded all expectations.

The robe, which reached her ankles, was as thin as a cicada's wing, but because it was a semi-transparent black and gold color, it made her graceful figure appear and disappear.

A partially concealed material is better than revealing the whole truth, like the tip of an iceberg, showing only a charming corner.

It packages all the delightful fantasies as mysterious, enticing the enjoyer to boldly explore the game of love.

Lin Jin did not immediately step out of the elevator, but instead placed one arm against the door.

With the movement of lifting her arms, the wide, flowing butterfly sleeves fell smoothly to her shoulders, revealing her delicate, fair arms that echoed the black and gold tones, creating an exquisite aesthetic.

She let her long, chestnut-brown curly hair fall naturally over her shoulders, tilted her head, and smiled at the person on the sofa, easily throwing them into a state of confusion.

With just that one flirtatious glance, Cheng Sangluo's face flushed with shyness, and she secretly swallowed.

She finally couldn't sit still any longer, and hurriedly stood up, striding over to her lover. "You..."

Lin Jin, her fingers twirling a strand of hair, asked in a sweet voice, "What about me?"

"Uh...you look very nice..." Cheng Sangluo answered truthfully, already unable to contain herself and leaning in for a kiss.

"Is that so?" Lin Jin gave an ambiguous chuckle, then pushed away the impatient puppy with feigned indifference, stepped out of the elevator, leaving behind only a lingering, alluring fragrance.

Cheng Sangluo, having failed to receive the eager kiss, wiped her nose in frustration, turned around, and hurried to catch up with Lin Jin. "I'm taking you somewhere, so you can't wear so little, or you'll catch a cold."

"What?" Lin Jin stopped and turned to look at the puppy, her face filled with utter disbelief. "Aren't we going to spend New Year's Eve at home?"

Her strong reaction was due to the elaborate makeup and attire, which turned out to be a sign that the bastard wasn't planning on being all lovey-dovey at home.

She turned her head to look out the dark window and muttered to herself, "It's nighttime, and it's quite chilly in the mountains. What are you up to now?"

"Let's go, you'll find out soon enough." Cheng Sangluo blinked, still keeping her surprise a secret.

She had draped a long down jacket over the sofa beforehand, and while her wife was asking questions, she had already wrapped her small frame up tightly.

Lin Jin sighed helplessly, thinking that just a second ago she was a sexy bombshell, but now she had become a penguin without any charm. She couldn't help but complain: "Hmph, you've hidden away the beauty."

"Yeah, I'm very petty. My beautiful wife can only be admired by me. No other women can get a thing, or I'll get jealous!" Cheng Sangluo joked shamelessly, then suddenly scooped his wife up in his arms, cheering, "Let's go, let's celebrate the New Year!"

"Put me down!" Lin Jin struggled, but she couldn't overcome Cheng Sangluo's strength, which was as strong as an ox.

The puppy refused: "No way! You've dressed yourself up like a fairy, how could I bear to let you walk on dust? Just let me carry you obediently."

As she spoke, Cheng Sangluo walked briskly and joyfully to the parking garage.

She had arranged everything she needed beforehand, so she didn't choose her usual Bentley for tonight's outing, but instead opted for the Land Rover that she occasionally used.

"Why did you decide to drive this car?" Lin Jin asked, getting into the passenger seat with a half-smile. "Where exactly are you taking me?"

"You'll find out in a bit." Cheng Sangluo still wouldn't give in, keeping everyone in suspense: "Hmm... I'll take you to... a place where we never managed to make love properly before..."

"Huh?" Lin Jin raised her eyebrows and thought for a long time, but still couldn't remember where that beautiful place for lovemaking was.

Cheng Sangluo smiled without saying a word, stepped on the gas and drove through the villa gate. Suddenly, she made a sharp U-turn and drove straight towards the top of the mountain.

Lin Jin gripped the handrail to steady herself, and after she could see the direction clearly, she suddenly realized and said incredulously, "You don't mean to take me to the viewing platform on the mountain, do you?"

"Bingo!" Cheng Sangluo responded playfully, her smile deepening. "Do you remember that night? If your father hadn't reported being critically ill, we could have enjoyed the beautiful night view while doing something fun."

Upon being reminded of this, the long-forgotten memories instantly flooded Lin Jin's mind.

She recalled that cool early autumn night, the neon lights of the city below the mountain swaying, the wind swirling around the pavilion on the mountain, and the lighthouse in the distance disappearing into the darkness. That kiss, so passionate it was about to fall, was completely ruined by a jarring phone call.

Lin Jin suddenly let out a clear and lively laugh, and after laughing for a while, she exclaimed, "I didn't realize you were so obsessed with the mountaintop viewing platform!"

"Wh...what obsession...I don't have any..." Cheng Sang stubbornly refused to admit it, his face already burning red. Although he was head over heels in love with this beautiful woman, he still couldn't resist the throbbing and awkward shyness.

"Oh~ really~" Lin Jin turned to the side and pinched her cheek, deliberately teasing her: "Then why is someone's little face so hot? Are you feeling guilty?"

Cheng Sangluo grabbed the hand that was harassing her face and put it in her pocket. Their fingertips intertwined and caressed each other in a corner they couldn't see, creating a tender feeling that lingered in her memory.

Lin Jin stopped making a fuss and stared straight at the mountain road outside the windshield, as if urging herself to get there quickly, or perhaps her attention was diverted to her lingering fingertips.

Fortunately, the distance to the top wasn't too far. After the Land Rover made a few turns, the pavilion standing on the mountaintop came into view.

Cheng Sangluo stepped on the gas pedal slightly, his eagerness for his destination showing a hint of anticipation.

After parking the car at the edge of the cliff, she quickly pressed down on Lin Jin, who was about to open the car door and leave, saying, "Wait."

Lin Jin asked in surprise, "Aren't we allowed to get off the bus?"

Cheng Sangluo glanced at the time on the central control screen. There were still two hours until midnight, plenty of time. She decided to say, "You sit in the car for a while. I'll set everything up outside before we come out. It's windy on the mountain, and I don't want you to catch a cold."

"Okay, I'll wait patiently for you~" Lin Jin cooperated, reaching out to zip up the dog's jacket and turning up the collar, "Don't catch a cold."

Cheng Sangluo leaned in and kissed her forehead. "I'll get it done soon, I guarantee you'll like it."

After saying that, she quickly pushed open the door and ran to the back of the car to open the trunk, taking out a bunch of things haphazardly.

Lin Jin was really curious, so she turned around to look, but the dog deliberately didn't turn on the light, and in the pitch-black environment, she could only see a shadow moving around.

She laughed as she finished writing, thinking that she would soon be drenched in sweat, so she simply leaned against the car window, closed her eyes, and rested to recharge.

Outside the Land Rover, the scene was quite different, with Cheng Sangluo busy for quite some time.

She deliberately positioned the rear of the car towards the cliff and folded down all the rear seats beforehand, connecting the trunk to make the already spacious interior feel even more open.

Right now, she's busy hanging a simple camping curtain on the trunk door. The curtain will surround the trunk, blocking the mountain wind when lowered, and offering a fantastic night view when pulled up.

To allow his wife to comfortably lean back and admire the view, she even brought a thick goose down comforter from home, using half of it as a mattress and the other half as a blanket.

Although the main event tonight is all about romance, there will inevitably be some eating and drinking, so the thoughtful dog has prepared a big bag of snacks and even the necessary items for brewing tea around the stove, so that his wife can have a hot cup of tea as soon as she is thirsty.

With everything ready, Cheng Sangluo stepped out from behind the curtain, carrying her worn-out backpack.

She glanced at her bag and walked towards the driver's door, but after taking only a few steps, she hesitated and turned back to the trunk, only returning to Lin Jin's side after she had mentally prepared herself.

Lin Jin actually endured the long wait, squinting at the little dog that returned with a chill in its body, "Ready?"

"Mm." Cheng Sangluo nodded and greeted with a smile, "All the food and drinks are prepared. Please move to the trunk, Ms. Lin. You can sit, lean, lie down, or do whatever you like."

Lin Jinxin got out of the car and walked to the trunk. She looked up at the curtain hanging high and couldn't help but admire it softly: "Huh, it's actually quite presentable."

She lifted the curtain, awkwardly climbed to a seat in the back row, and turned slightly to look at the puppy. "What are you doing?"

Cheng Sangluo was worried that his wife would catch a cold, so he was busy adjusting the air conditioning. "I need to raise the temperature inside the car."

Lin Jin just wanted to hug her beloved as soon as possible, so she patted the spot next to her and urged, "It's already warm enough, come over here."

"Okay." Cheng Sanglu received the order and scurried over to her side in a flash, asking for praise, "Are you satisfied with this arrangement?"

"It's a bit rudimentary," Lin Jin commented with a smile, but not wanting to discourage the puppy, she rested her head on her shoulder. "But nothing makes me happier than this arrangement. Look, there are mountains, scenery, you and me."

Cheng Sangluo leaned forward and lifted a small part of the curtain so his wife could see the city scenery below the mountain. He wondered if the car was parked at the right angle. "Do you think we can see the fireworks show at midnight?"

Lin Jin had no time to look at those unattainable splendors; her gaze was now fixed intently on the puppy's slightly hunched back.

She didn't answer the question, but instead quietly wrapped her arms around her lover's waist from behind, whispering in his ear, "So, do you think... the fireworks are prettier... or am I prettier...?"

The sudden embrace made Cheng Sangluo straighten her back, stiffen her body, and even swallow hard.

She regained her composure and quickly turned to hug the alluring woman, saying, "How can this compare? Nothing is more beautiful than my wife!"

Seeing the puppy eagerly seeking kisses again, Lin Jin once again took her feigned indifference to the extreme.

She stepped back to avoid it, touching the puppy's lips with her fingertip. "Don't rush, some things have to be done one at a time."

Cheng Sangluo still failed, pouting and complaining, "Ugh, you're trying to provoke me again. What time is it and you won't even give me a kiss!"

"Then what can you give me?" Lin Jin spread her palms and rubbed her fingers together, indicating, "I mean... no New Year's gift? Don't tell me that the 'Humble Abode' you carefully prepared is just a gift for me."

"So in your eyes, this trunk of ours is just a humble abode?" The puppy waved its arms indignantly, but quickly quieted down and sighed in admission: "Okay, okay, I did prepare a gift for you."

Upon hearing about the gift, Lin Jin's deep eyes lit up. "What gift?"

"Ahem—" Cheng Sangluo coughed lightly twice, as if trying to ease her embarrassment.

Lin Jin didn't urge him, patiently waiting for the grand gift tonight.

The atmosphere instantly fell silent.

After a moment of silence, the person whose face was as red as a rotten tomato picked up their backpack.

Lin Jin raised an eyebrow and examined the tattered bag suspiciously: "The gift is inside?"

Cheng Sangluo was afraid that his wife would snatch him away if he wasn't careful, so he kept his hand tightly on the backpack and nodded dryly: "Yes, it's inside."

"What is it? Why are you being so mysterious?" Lin Jin's patience was wearing thin, and she complained in a low voice, "You're keeping me in suspense like this, I'm going to get angry."

Cheng Sangluo didn't say anything. After silently arranging the cushions, he finally stuffed the backpack into his wife's hands and collapsed onto the cushions with a look of grim determination.

The man lay flat without making a sound, as if he were playing dead.

Lin Jin glanced at her, then unzipped her backpack. It was full of things, making a muffled clattering sound.

She dumped all those things out at once, and when she saw what they were, a complex mix of emotions welled up in her eyes.

At first, there was surprise mixed with bewilderment, which slowly turned into unparalleled excitement, but the excitement was mixed with an indescribable sense of satisfaction, and then it turned into a long and lingering feeling of being moved.

Those seals, large and small, some made of stone, some of wood, each engraved with Lin Jin's name, some clumsy, some exquisite, using different fonts, yet all filled with a consistent and unwavering spirit.

Lin Jin picked up a seal of a suitable size and played with it between her fingertips. Her throat felt tight, so she didn't speak.

Cheng Sangluo rested her hands behind her head, staring at the dark car roof, and began to speak slowly and deliberately: "Actually, I've always known... I knew why you asked me to carve your name back then..."

Do you know? Even without these things, your name is already etched in my heart.

During the days we were apart, you were the one who went crazy, and I was the one who went mad.

I'm trapped in the dilemma of wanting to grow up quickly, and also in the pain of not being able to see you. So I can't eat or sleep, and I can't sleep all night long. So I do only one thing day and night: repeatedly carving your name.

Only in this way can I suppress my longing for you in my heart.

As she spoke, Cheng Sangluo sat up, wrapped one arm around Lin Jin's arm, and slowly grasped the engraved seal.

She took something else out of her pocket and handed it to her lover. “Ever since the day we met again at the convenience store, you’ve been eagerly seeking this outcome, and now I’m eager to prove to you that Cheng Sangluo belongs to Lin Jin, and she will always belong only to you.”

Lin Jin listened attentively. These simple words of love, which didn't contain a single word of "love," were so touching that they made her lips tremble slightly.

Her gaze fell on the hand Cheng Sangluo extended, which was an ordinary box of ink pads, yet it was also the most unique ink pad in the world, because it could be used to imprint a contract that would bind them for a lifetime.

During their intimate moments, Cheng Sangluo always played the role of the aggressive one.

Tonight is so different; she reveals her hidden, gentle side to Lin Jin, letting him appreciate it completely.

She rested her chin on her lover's shoulder, and in a voice that could melt anything, she whispered a plea: "Imprint it on me...imprint every single one on me...like when you signed those valuable contracts...forcefully...without turning back...imprinting it on me..."

Lin Jin seemed captivated by the request, her deep eyes filled with an unprecedented emotion.

She turned her head to gaze at her lover, whose face was flushed, her eyes meeting his wheat-colored skin bathed in the night.

Those blood-red lips murmured, and in the darkness, a command rang out, a command that was both playful and wildly excited: "Lie down."
