Chapter 205 Selling Noodles

After dinner, the couple lay on the bed. Lu Shi gently hugged Zhang Weifang from behind and asked cautiously:

"What's wrong with you today?"

Zhang Weifang turned around, his head pressed against Lu Shihuai's chest, one hand pressing on him:

"I suddenly feel old. Will I become a mother-in-law in a few years?"

"You're just imagining things again. You're the same as when we first met. Nothing has changed."

Zhang Weifang knew he was trying to coax her. How could he not have changed in more than ten years? She bit Lu Shi's chest in revenge.

"I noticed today that I have wrinkles above my eyes."

The sudden pain made Lu Shi hiss and his eyes turned red.

As soon as Zhang Weifang looked up, she saw Lu Shi's lustful eyes. The thick mist in them seemed to melt her. Even after being married for more than ten years, she could not get used to this kind of direct gaze.

Zhang Weifang immediately sensed the danger and rolled back in panic. As soon as she moved, Lu Shi spoke:

"Don't move."

What happened next was out of Zhang Weifang's control. That night, she was crushed back and forth over and over again and had long forgotten her original idea.

The next day, when Zhang Weifang went to work, she felt dizzy and hadn't woken up at all. Who knew why Lu Shi suddenly went crazy and didn't let her rest all night.

Xiao Hu looked at Zhang Weifang who kept yawning and came over to tease him:

"You old married couples are quite passionate."

Zhang Weifang can now discuss this matter without blushing or getting nervous:

"You're overthinking it. I just suddenly realized I'm getting old, so I can't sleep. My son is about to take the college entrance exam."

Getting old is always a topic that women fear. Xiao Hu also touched his face and said sadly:

"Your son is quite promising. My daughter Xixi is not good at studying. She is already 19 years old and it's time for her to get married."

"Ah? You have a partner? So soon?" Zhang Weifang suddenly felt that time passed too quickly.

Talking about his daughter's marriage, Xiao Hu became interested:

"I've seen a guy from the transport team. His conditions are pretty good. Xixi is a useless person, so getting married early is a way out for her."

"Yeah, that's right."

When Zhang Weifang got home from get off work today, she put down her bag and went to bed. She was so tired that she didn't even have time to eat.

The two sons looked at Lu Shi, wanting him to make the decision. Lu Shi also knew that Zhang Weifang did not sleep well last night, so he did not persuade her.

The next morning, Zhang Weifang woke up to the sound of sparrows outside the window. After waking up, she felt much more relaxed and her mood became brighter.

Lu Shi was still immersed in dreams, as if everything in the outside world had nothing to do with him. He lay there quietly, his eyes closed, breathing steadily and deeply.

As he fell asleep, the usual cold aura seemed to gradually dissipate, replaced by an indescribable softness. Zhang Weifang stared at Lu Shi's face quietly, her eyes full of tenderness and concern.

She gently reached out and carefully stroked his soft short hair, running her fingers through the hair, feeling the delicate touch.

Every touch was like touching a precious treasure, which made her happy. Lu Shi's hair was soft and smooth, like silk, which made Zhang Weifang involuntarily want to touch it a few more times.

As her fingertips moved, a warm feeling surged in Zhang Weifang's heart. She discovered that Lu Shi also had such a warm side when he was asleep. This seemingly cold and ruthless man now showed the tenderness deep in his heart.

Zhang Weifang was in a good mood. She got dressed and happily made breakfast for the whole family.

An An woke up the earliest. It was his turn to cook today. As soon as he walked out of the yard, he saw Zhang Weifang coming out of the kitchen with a bowl of porridge.

An An thought he had seen it wrong, he rubbed his sleepy eyes:

"Mom? What are you doing?"

Zhang Weifang was startled by An An's voice:

"Why are you making such a fuss? I got up early today and made breakfast for you. Go wash up and eat soon."

An An ran to the kitchen and saw the porridge in the pot and the omelet on the stove. Only then did he believe what his mother said was true.

An An helped bring out the food and put it on the table before asking:

"Mom, are you okay? Don't come to the kitchen anymore. I don't need you to cook."

Lu Shi just opened the door and walked out. When he heard An An's words, his good mood disappeared immediately:

"Who cooks? An An, you've become braver, how can you let your mother cook?"

When An An turned around and saw Lu, she stood up straight:

"Dad, don't blame me. It was my mom who insisted on cooking."

Lu Shi glared at him and ignored him. He took Zhang Weifang's hand and checked it again and again, and found two red blisters on her little finger.

Lu Shi returned to his room and found the ointment. While applying it, he instructed Zhang Weifang:

"Look at you. You got two blisters on your hands just from cooking. Stay away from the kitchen from now on and leave these chores to your sons."

Zhang Weifang couldn't help but feel a little shy when she said this in front of her son, but when she noticed Lu Shi was staring at her closely, she quickly said:

"I see."

An An and Hu Zi were sitting at the dinner table eating, but their minds were wandering. They had just been scolded for no reason, and both of them wanted to go to school quickly, otherwise there would probably be more consequences.

The two sons ran away after dinner. Lu Shi washed the dishes before sending Zhang Weifang to work.

In the past few days, he has thought about what to sell. The weather is about to get hot, so he plans to sell dough and pancakes, and pair them with some soda. This is simple and easy to do, and the most important thing is to have the right seasoning.

Lu Shi practiced several times at home and made the dough himself. Although it took some time, it tasted great and was very chewy.

But how to transport it was also a problem. Tools like tractors and tricycles were not only expensive but also difficult to buy. So, Lu Shi finally chose the flatbed truck at home.

He put all the things on the flatbed and set off.

At the gate of No. 1 Middle School, as soon as school was over at noon, the children rushed out like a swarm of bees.

They immediately saw the small stall at the school gate. There was a wooden board next to it with the words "dough, soda, and pancakes" written on it.

Several classmates walked together and came to the stall. One of them asked:

"Uncle, what is dough?"

Lu Shi took out the prepared sample and showed it to everyone:

"It's a kind of cold noodles. Look, it's delicious. It has cucumber and gluten in it. It's 30 cents a bowl, no ticket required. Would you like to have a bowl?"

The boy smelled the fragrance of the dough, swallowed his saliva, and said:

"Uncle, give me a bowl."
