Chapter 234 Grassland

The next day, when Zhang Weifang got home from work, she saw An An and Huo Yu waiting for her at the door, and her good mood disappeared immediately.

It was the time when people were leaving get off work, and she couldn't lose her temper in public. Zhang Weifang suppressed her anger and looked at An An:

"What does this mean?"

An An saw Zhang Weifang's dark face and felt particularly uneasy:

"Mom, I brought Xiaoyu to visit you."

"No thanks. I told you before not to bring her here. Are you deaf? I'll say it again. I don't care about what happens between you two, but don't come to my house."

Huo Yu knew that Zhang Weifang didn't like her, but she didn't expect her to say such harsh words to her face. For a moment, her eyes turned red with grievance.

When An An saw Huo Yu's aggrieved look, his temper also flared up:

"Mom, I brought Xiaoyu here, how can you be so rude?"

Zhang Weifang was so angry at An An that she almost cried:

"I'm rude? If you weren't my son, I would have told you to get out long ago. I've raised you from childhood. I don't expect you to achieve much, but I won't allow you to disobey me either."

"I've been feeding you well and dressing you well since you were little, so what? Now you're rebelling against your parents? Fine, forget everything that happened before. From now on, I'll just pretend I don't have a son like you. You can't live in my house anymore. Get out of here as far away as you can."

An An didn't say anything else. He pulled Huo Yu away.

When Zhang Weifang returned home, she burst into tears. She finally believed the saying: children are debts.

When Lu Shi came back and saw Zhang Weifang with tears on her face, he was shocked. He thought something had happened. When he asked, he found out that it was An An who had caused the trouble again. He felt even more sad. An An was his only son.

"Okay, stop crying. From now on, just pretend you don't have this son. We still have Hu Zi."

"Well, luckily there's Tiger."

Hu Zi has always been very filial. He visits them every month and always brings a lot of bags. Although his wife Wang Hui has some small thoughts, her filial piety is impeccable.

Seeing that Zhang Weifang was in a bad mood, Lu Shi decided to take her out for a trip. There was no formal travel agency at the time, so he bought a tourist map and bought the train ticket himself.

Before leaving, Lu Shi went to find An An and slapped him without saying a word:

"Your mother gave up half her life to give birth to you. You may not be grateful, but you must not make her angry again. You will handle your own affairs in the future. We will not take care of you. But there is only one thing: do not come to our house again, and do not embarrass your mother again."

Lu Shi left the tax bureau and went straight to the city criminal police team to find Hu Zi:

"Huzi, I'm going to take your mother out for a walk. Don't worry about An'an's affairs. From now on, just pretend you don't have this brother."

When Hu Zi heard that An An was no longer recognized, his heart suddenly tightened, and an ominous premonition came over him. He widened his eyes and asked anxiously: "Dad, what's wrong with An An? What happened? Tell me quickly!"

Speaking of An An, Lu Shi's face also turned unhappy:

"He, he's very good. He makes your mother and I angry every day, and he even brings Huo Yu home without permission."

Hu Zi understood immediately, it was about finding a partner again:

"Dad, don't worry about it with my mom. Leave this to me."

Three days later, Lu Shi took An An on the train. This time, they were going to the vast grassland.

After An An and Zhang Weifang had a fight, they moved directly to the dormitory. The dormitory was a four-person room. Everyone had different living habits, some were clean and some were dirty, so there was always a special smell in the dormitory.

They all finished the snacks he put on the table. An An mentioned it casually, and everyone said he was stingy.

The other people in the dormitory have lived together for a long time, so they have a good relationship with each other, and they have a natural aversion to An An.

After Huo Yu left Zhang Weifang's house last time, he and An An fell into a cold war. Now An An's relationship and career are not going well.

That day, Hu Zi came to see him, and the two brothers went to a small restaurant. They ordered a few dishes and a bottle of white wine.

Hu Zi's identity meant he couldn't drink, and he didn't like alcohol, so he just watched An An drink one glass after another:

"Brother, I'm having a hard time. Why does mom look down on Xiaoyu? Xiaoyu is obviously a good girl."

"Marriage is your own. If you think she's good, just marry her. Dad told me that he won't care about you anymore."

"Brother, but Xiaoyu doesn't want to be with me now. She feels that her parents don't like her."

Hu Zi couldn't bear to see An An in pain:

"An An, Mom and Dad are not unreasonable people, they just don't like Huo Yu. Some people are just not meant to be together. If you really like him, don't worry about other people's opinions. After all, your life is your own."

Hu Zi thought for a moment and said:

"An An, don't bring Huo Yu home anymore. It will make both of us uncomfortable."

After spending two days and two nights on the train, Lu Shi and Zhang Weifang arrived at a large grassland in Meng Province. The two hired a guide to take them into the real grassland.

The wind was particularly strong on the grassland. Zhang Weifang was wearing a thick scarf, and the howling wind made it impossible for her to open her eyes. The withered yellow grass on the grassland swayed everywhere.

At this moment, Zhang Weifang remembered that this season was not a good time to come to the grassland because the green grass had not yet grown.

It was not until they saw flocks of sheep that Zhang Weifang felt that their trip was worthwhile.

The wool of sheep on the grassland is thicker. She touched it quietly and found that the wool was very soft and without any impurities.

Zhang Weifang asked curiously:

“Where do these sheep live in the winter?”

"They are very cold-resistant and can withstand temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius. If it gets colder, they have to live in the sheep pen."

In the evening, Zhang Weifang and his companion followed the guide to eat delicious roasted lamb legs. The taste is really hard to describe in words.

Zhang Weifang didn’t like eating mutton before because he disliked the fishy smell. However, the lamb legs roasted on the grassland had no fishy smell at all and even had a fresh fragrance. After asking, he found out that this was because special spices were added to it.

Moreover, the lamb meat is particularly tender, soft and smooth. Zhang Weifang ate half a pound of lamb by herself and also ate some hand-held meat, which was another unique taste.

The only thing Zhang Weifang was not used to was their salty milk tea, which had a strong fishy smell. However, Lu Shi loved it and he drank a whole pot by himself.

At night, the two of them lived in a real yurt. To be honest, the yurt was not very comfortable to live in at that time. There were no windows and it was relatively low, so they could only make do with it for one night.

There is no toilet inside, so you have to go a long way to use it. Fortunately, they brought their own folding space, otherwise it would be very troublesome to go out late at night.
