Chapter 55 Receiving the Goods

She said to herself, "You did nothing wrong. Others can go back to the city. Can you be willing to stay in the countryside forever? Impossible."

Su Qingmeng quickly put Yang Yuanyuan out of her mind. They were not familiar with each other. She packed the honey she bought into small porcelain bottles. There must be more than ten pounds of honeycomb, and she didn't know how many honeycombs the seller had taken out.

"Honey, I'm back." Lin Xiuyao opened the door and came in. "Wow, what a great thing! Did you buy this at the market?"

"Yes, it's authentic wild honey, very nutritious. How about you? How was your harvest today?"

"I bought some rice. Don't you want to eat Northeastern rice?" Lin Xiuyao took out the things in the backpack and showed them to Su Qingmeng. "There are also apples, vegetables, and this mink fur. Go back to the city and ask the old tailor to make you a coat."

Su Qingmeng: "Wow, I have a mink coat too. How much did you pay for it?"

Lin Xiuyao: "Two hundred. They bought it from the old hunters in Kaoshan Village. You know, they have a lot of good stuff, but they won't sell it. I said a lot of nice things, and they gave me two bottles of tiger bone wine."

"What do you want this wine for?" Su Qingmeng asked with mixed emotions. He couldn't use it.

Lin Xiuyao: "Well, leave it there, it's good stuff too." Let him drink it when he's older.

Lin Xiuyao ordered newspapers: Capital Daily, Capital Evening News, Xinhua Daily, Workers' Daily, Youth Daily, and so on. Without internet access, the only way to get news was to read the newspapers. He subscribed to every newspaper.

It is autumn now, and there are many kinds of fruits in Beijing. They buy them every time they go out and hide a lot in the space.

I was busy like this until school started.
