Extra 1 (Lin Tang's perspective)

"Tangtang, did you really get the job at Sulin Group? Or at the head office?"

In the girls' dormitory of a university in Beijing, a girl asked Lin Tang who was packing her luggage.

Lin Tang nodded and said, "I will officially start work next Monday."

"I really envy you." Now that the job assignment policy has been cancelled, all the college students graduating this year have to find jobs on their own.

As a well-known large domestic group, Sulin Group has subsidiaries in clothing, real estate, film and television, investment, etc. Its salary and welfare benefits are well-known to be good. Roommates admire Lin Tang for being able to find such a good job.

"You're not bad either. Working at a magazine is easy." Lin Tang packed her luggage and said goodbye to her roommates one by one. "I'm leaving first." She pushed her suitcase out of the dormitory.

She is about to join her cousin Xiu Yao's group, and she is very proud of herself, after all, her uncle is famous for his strictness.

Since he established the group company, relatives and friends from his hometown have come to him for help many times, but Uncle Xiu Yao refused all requests for backdoor recruitment and asked everyone to go through the formal recruitment process.

Now the only Lin family members working in the company are Brother Lin Cong and Sister Qiuqiu. Lin Tang’s successful employment this time is the result of her own hard work in four years of college.

She carried her suitcase and took the bus to Chaoyang District, where the Sulin Group's headquarters building is located.

She passed a long food street and turned into Sister Qiuqiu's house.

After graduating last year, Sister Qiuqiu joined the clothing subsidiary of Sulin Group. She is now a fashion designer and rents a house near the company.

Ren Qiuqiu had just gotten off work and was having dinner when she heard a knock on the door and went to open it.

"Sister Qiuqiu, I'm here."

Lin Tang put the suitcase and bag away as if she was familiar with the place. Since Sister Qiuqiu rented this house, she had come to visit her frequently and was very familiar with this house.

"Tangtang, have you finished your graduation procedures? Have you had dinner?" Ren Qiuqiu asked with a smile.

Lin Tang pulled a chair and sat next to her sister. "I've eaten. I just received my diploma yesterday, so I don't have to go back to school. I'll stay here for two days. I'll start work next week and live in the dormitory assigned by the company."

"Why don't you live with me? New employees are assigned six-person rooms, which aren't as comfortable as the two of us."

She rented a small single apartment of 30 square meters, with one bedroom, one kitchen and one bathroom. It was built by a local and was specially used for employees of nearby companies.

"I'll stay in the dormitory first." Lin Tang said. She felt embarrassed to disturb her sister, but she could rent a house by herself after she got her salary.

"I'm going to Uncle Xiuyao's house tomorrow. Are you coming?"

It just so happened that she passed the interview at Sulin Group, so she went to tell her aunt and Kang Kang.

"Okay, then I'll go with you," Ren Qiuqiu said. "Let's go now, they might leave the capital in a couple of days."

"Yes, I almost forgot," Lin Tang patted his forehead, "Summer vacation is coming soon, and the family is going on a trip again. I really envy my uncle and aunt. They have travel plans every year and can go wherever they want."

"If you work hard now, you will be able to live such a life in the future. By the way, when you go to work, will you still write novels?" Ren Qiuqiu asked.

Lin Tang waved her hand. "My level can't compare with my aunt's. I can't support myself with my royalties. I can't be a full-time writer like her."

She successfully published a book of short stories during her four years in college, but it didn't have many readers.

“But I can use my spare time to create. Maybe one day I can be like my aunt, have my works published and sell well, or be noticed by film and television companies.

Did you know? Many of my aunt’s novels have been adapted into movies and TV series, and the adaptations cost a lot of money!

As Lin Tang spoke, her face was full of longing, as if she had seen a bright future.

Ren Qiuqiu: "Keep going, I'm optimistic about you. Auntie also said that your writing is pretty good, but the plot is lacking. This is all due to your lack of life experience. You can gain experience by going to work."

"You're right. I can write a workplace novel based on my own experience. You know what, since I've had several relationships, writing love stories has become much smoother." Lin Tang said.

Ren Qiuqiu: "You scumbag girl, how can you fall in love just to accumulate material?" She took the dishes to the kitchen to wash them.

"Alas, that's how it is now. Just casually talk about love, and it doesn't matter if both parties are in love." Lin Tang didn't care. She followed her sister and gossiped, "Sister Qiuqiu, are you okay?"

Ren Qiuqiu lowered her head slightly, a little shy, "There's a man who's pursuing me. I'll tell you once I'm sure."

"No, you should ask for advice from someone as experienced as me. Tell me quickly..." Lin Tang teased her and followed her to the bedroom to inquire about the news.

"Stop making trouble, I'll find you a blanket." Ren Qiuqiu begged for mercy.

The two of them played until very late before going to bed. The next morning, the alarm clock rang, and Ren Qiuqiu quickly called Lin Tang:

"Get up, we still have more than an hour to ride the bus, hurry up."

After quickly washing up and having breakfast, they went downstairs to buy a bag of fruit at the fruit shop and took a bus to Xicheng District.
