Chapter 50 Searching for the Magic Circle

"This junior brother is polite."

"You can choose the form of the magic circle yourself. The price is listed above."

The disciple in the Formation Hall took a book, glanced at Jiang Yun and said lazily:

"Uh." Jiang Yun looked at the paper on the table, which was all exchanged with contribution points. He immediately asked:

"I don't have enough contribution points, can spirit stones be used?"

"No,"

A simple "no" dispelled Jiang Yun's further questions. He had no choice but to apologize, left the magic hall and came to the market.

Unfortunately, he searched all over the market but couldn't find anyone selling magic circles.

"Congratulations, Junior Brother Jiang, for entering the inner sect."

Xiang An, who was setting up a stall, saw Jiang Yun with a new identity token.

"Add a voice transmission."

After Jiang Yun and Xiang Anjia communicated with each other, Jiang Yun asked in distress:

"I don't have enough contribution points. Does Senior Brother Xiang from the Fazhen Sect have any connections?"

Xiang An thought for a moment, slapped his thigh and said:

"Yes, I know a cultivator from the Formation Hall named Zhuang Huai. He's a bit strange, you know, people who work with formations aren't normal people. He just has a weird personality, so I don't know if he'll agree."

"Then I'd like to trouble Senior Brother Xiang to recommend me. Whether you agree or not, we have to give it a try."

"Okay, wait a moment, Junior Brother."

After Xiang An finished speaking, he packed up the entire stall and took Jiang Yun to a remote cave.

"This is it." Xiang An said, took out the token and transmitted the message.

"Wait a moment, Brother Zhuang may be busy."

Jiang Yun remained silent. After waiting for about a quarter of an hour, the cave door finally opened.

"Let's go, Brother Zhuang is probably busy again."

Jiang Yun followed Xiang An in, passed through a courtyard, and entered a place covered with graffiti lines. A monk was sitting in the room writing and drawing.

"Brother Zhuang. Brother Zhuang!"

Xiang An shouted several times, and Zhuang Huai, who was sitting among them, raised his head, revealing his dirty face.

"Oh, it's Brother Xiang. Please take a seat. I'm busy for a while."

"Brother Zhuang, please wait a moment. This junior fellow wants to buy a formation."

Xiang An hurriedly stopped the other person and told him to continue studying, as who knew when he would come to his senses.

Jiang Yun looked at the disc in the other person's hand, which was densely engraved with incomprehensible lines and patterns. Suddenly, his scalp tingled. It turned out that formations were not something that everyone could learn.

"Formation? I can't do it."

Zhuang Huai's words left Xiang An and Jiang Yun stunned. Aren't you a specialist in formations?

"I can't make this formation plate. I want to concentrate all the formations on one formation plate, but unfortunately there is always something missing."

Zhuang Huai rubbed his messy hair, then threw the formation plate in his hand and said:

"Dongfu formation, right? What type do you want?"

After hearing this, Xiang An quickly explained to Jiang Yun:

"Formations are divided into four categories: attack, defense, trap, and confusion. The ones generally used in cave dwellings are mostly for defense."

"Is there no combination of the four?"

After hearing this, Jiang Yun immediately asked:

"Well, this is what a third-level formation master can do. They can combine multiple formations. Usually they are of a single type. For example, a thick earth formation is good for defense."

Xiang An gave Zhuang Huai an apologetic look and quickly explained.

"Hurry up and choose. If I hadn't seen that you were brought by Brother Xiang, I wouldn't even meet you."

Zhuang Huai turned around and said to Jiang Yun:

"Sorry, I don't understand formations, so I'm being abrupt. Let's use the Thick Earth Formation. I've seen a Thick Earth Formation once in the market, it was called the Five Elements Thick Earth Formation. Is that the same thing?"

After Jiang Yun finished speaking, Zhuang Huai snorted coldly and walked into the inner room with a flick of his sleeves.
