Chapter 26: Wentian Cave Mansion

After three days of excavation, Jiang Yun ate a fasting pill when he was hungry and drank the water stored in the storage bag when he was thirsty.

He finally dug a hole over a meter wide above the stone door. Jiang Yun climbed up and slowly entered the hole.

Sure enough, the scenery inside was completely different. The originally dim light suddenly became brighter. Above the cave, glowing night pearls dotted the surface, making the entire cave glow green. Even the surrounding stone walls glowed green.

No one knows how the original owner opened up the cave. There is no trace of human intervention, and it looks like a perfect cave formed naturally.

The cave was not big, with only a stone bed, a cushion and a stone table inside.

On the stone table was a stone box, and the ferret was lying on the stone bed. After seeing Jiang Yun, the ferret raised its head weakly.

"Here, take it!" Seeing this, Jiang Yun took out another Zengyuan Pill and fed it to the ferret.

Seeing the snow ferret rest after eating, Jiang Yun carefully opened the stone box with his white lightsaber. Inside was a gray jade slip.

"Kung Fu? Last words?"

Jiang Yun was excited. He carefully picked up the jade slip and placed it on his forehead. With a sweep of his mind, the scenery before his eyes suddenly changed.

It turned out that the green stone chamber had turned into the starry sky of the universe, and Jiang Yun was standing in the starry sky. The stars felt close at hand, yet far away.

Suddenly, the stars in the sky turned into a human shape, and a huge voice came from the distant starry sky.

"What is Tao?"

"Tao?" Jiang Yun thought of the Tao Te Ching he had read in his previous life. He couldn't help but say:

"The Tao has no name; the Tao is one, and the Tao is everything."

"Can,"

"What choice do I have?"

"The Tao is one, and it is also everything. The Tao is also me, and I am also the Tao. The Tao and I are one, so why should I choose?"

As soon as Jiang Yun finished speaking, the stars in the sky suddenly turned into a stream of light and rushed towards him. All of them immediately drilled into Jiang Yun's body.

At this moment, Jiang Yun in the stone chamber suddenly opened his eyes, with the jade slip still on his forehead.

The words in Jiang Yun's mind shone brightly, forming four large characters.

Purple Sky Mysterious Record

"The Purple Sky Avenue is magnificent from time to time. The secret of heaven and earth lies in the true way.

When chaos first began and all things had not yet taken shape, the Dao Qi began to exist between heaven and earth.

The sun, moon, and stars are in constant motion, and the mountains, rivers, and grasses are growing endlessly..."

Jiang Yun looked at the profound martial arts techniques at the beginning and immediately knew that he had really found a treasure.

He continued to browse and realized that this "Purple Sky Mysterious Record" was a martial arts method passed down by an immortal named Wentian.

The life of the Immortal Lord Wentian is briefly introduced later.

"I have practiced Taoism for over a hundred thousand years, and the four techniques of cultivating immortality that I admire most are the most detrimental. However, they are also the most harmful. For the younger generation, cultivation is the foundation, and all else is secondary. I wanted to destroy them, but I could not abandon my lifelong learning, and I will retain the most suitable one, the Dao of Alchemy, as a supplementary practice. I hope that the younger generation will take the Great Dao as their foundation and attain the Dao and become gods.

"You are a person who has been able to pass the test of the Heart-Searching Array and is eager to seek the truth. Remember, realm is the foundation, and everything else is auxiliary. The battle between good and evil is uncertain. Therefore, I leave behind this legacy, hoping that future generations can survive the catastrophe of separation."

Jiang Yun quickly looked at Zixiao Xuanlu, and indeed found an article called "The True Explanation of the Dao of Alchemy" in it.

"Great, I finally have another immortal cultivation skill." Jiang Yun already had a copy of the second-level talisman skill that Zhang Yuan gave to Jiang Qiuyue in his pocket. He hadn't had time to look at it yet.

And now there is another "True Explanation of the Dao of Alchemy" whose level is obviously unknown.

"I never thought I would have such a destiny one day! I wonder who this Immortal Lord Wentian is."

Jiang Yun was a complete novice in the world of immortal cultivation, and had never heard of the other party's name. The Purple Sky Mysterious Record was even more obscure and difficult to understand, leaving Jiang Yun completely bewildered. He simply pulled out the "True Explanation of the Dao of Alchemy" and began to read.

The opening chapter emphasized the importance of understanding the principles of alchemy and discerning the properties of medicinal materials. The elixir and medicinal materials were inseparable; the two were one. Jiang Yun immediately read with fascination, feeling that the text was profound and far beyond the scope of a single reading.

Jiang Yun didn't know how long it had been before he felt his stomach growl. The ferret was still fast asleep on the stone bed. He took another fasting pill. He looked at a cushion beside the stone table and was immediately interested.

It was unknown how long ago this object had been found. After Jiang Yun sat cross-legged on the futon, all sorts of thoughts suddenly raced through his mind. The difficulties he had encountered in his cultivation techniques were all solved one by one. The Mysterious Records of the Purple Sky also became less obscure.

"Treasure! This is a real treasure." Jiang Yun took the cushion in his hand and observed it carefully. He knew that he had really encountered a treasure, a cushion that could help people gain enlightenment.

This futon was simply made of canvas with some decorative patterns. It felt like strands of thatch inside. Yet, it was a treasure Jiang Yun had never heard of before.

"Great, let's see the effect of the practice."

Jiang Yun sat cross-legged on the futon excitedly, and suddenly he felt at peace, as if he were in the mother's womb, and his mind was full of thoughts. After a brief practice of the Hunyuan Sutra, Jiang Yun immediately found something different.

Normally, I would have to practice the Hun Yuan Sutra several times to even gain a little proficiency, unless I took elixirs. But on this meditation cushion, my proficiency increased at least ten times faster.

Feeling his proficiency in the technique increasing rapidly, Jiang Yun became completely immersed in the practice and couldn't extricate himself.

"Finally, I've reached the Grandmaster level. I've also reached the third level of Qi Refining."

After practicing for who knows how many days, Jiang Yun regained consciousness, his mind slightly tired. His cultivation had reached the third level of Qi Refining.

He had also cultivated the Hunyuan Sutra to the Grandmaster level and had also mastered the basic sword-controlling technique.
