"Alright, I've finished eating. We can set off now."
The two left the courtyard together and walked to the entrance of the police station. Song Zhe went in and brought the boatman out. The three of them walked to the jeep and got in together.
Song Zhe drove the two of them towards Nanxing City. Along the way, because there were prisoners present, Su Tian did not speak to Song Zhe.
About two hours later, they arrived at the border defense forces in Nanxing City.
"Wait for me in the car, I'll take him inside first."
Song Zhe led the boatman to the entrance of the military base, showed him his identification, and then took him inside.
Su Tian sat quietly in the car, waiting, gazing at the scenery along the border.
The scenery along the border of Nanxing City is unique and charming, combining natural beauty with cultural history.
Su Tian discovered a river between the two countries. Looking into the distance, the river resembled a winding jade ribbon, its waters shimmering in the sunlight.
The scenery on both sides of the river complements each other, creating a unique charm.
Half an hour later, Song Zhe emerged from the military base. He got into his car, his eyes shining, and smiled at Su Tian.
Su Tian turned her head to meet his gaze and asked softly, "Is everything going smoothly?"
Song Zhe nodded: "Everything went smoothly. I'll take you to a secluded place. Put all the fruit in the jeep."
Song Zhe started the car, and it sped off, arriving at its destination twenty minutes later.
Su Tian got out of the car and looked around. It was a mountain forest, sparsely populated and very quiet.
Song Zhe parked the car under a big tree, and Su Tian got out and walked to the back of the car.
With a wave of her hand, she released over a thousand kilograms of fruit from her storage space. The fruit, packed in burlap sacks, instantly filled the trunk to the brim.
Thankfully, Song Zhe's jeep was big enough; otherwise, it would have taken several trips to deliver the goods.
Su Tian also brought some food from the back seat of the driver's cab for Song Zhe: "These are for you, otherwise you might not have anything to eat."
Song Zhe glanced at the fruit on the back seat and felt very happy.
"Alright, we can set off again." Su Tian clapped her hands, a relaxed smile on her face.
Looking at the truck full of fruit, Su Tian felt a sense of accomplishment.
She looked up at the sky and saw the sun hanging high in the center, like a blazing fireball, so hot that it was hard to open her eyes.
The two got into the car, and Song Zhe slowly started the jeep, heading back along the same route they had come from.
Thirty minutes later, we arrived at the entrance of the military base again.
"Su Tian, come with me to the entrance to register. After we drive the car in, I'll take you to lunch. It's already noon." Song Zhe looked at the girl in front of him gently.
"good."
After Su Tian finished speaking, she got out of the car, and Song Zhe took her to the sentry to register.
The two sides solemnly saluted each other, and then the sentry, Xiao Li, took out a notebook for Su Tian to register.
Xiao Li and Xiao Zhang were both surprised to see that Battalion Commander Song, known as the "Cold-Faced Demon King" in their unit, had brought a girl to their camp.
Then, he saw Song Zhe walk to the back of the truck, carry a large watermelon and a cantaloupe, and put them on the table in the duty room.
Seeing this, Su Tian went to the back compartment and took out several bunches of longan and tangerines, placing them on the table for them.
"You can eat when you change shifts, no need to rush," Song Zhe instructed.
"Yes," the two replied loudly.
Let's go.
The two got back into the car, and Xiao Li opened the gate, letting Song Zhe drive the car in.
He parked the car in the shade and called Su Tian to get out of the car together. He then got her a stool to sit on while he went to call someone to help carry the fruit.
Su Tian watched Song Zhe walk towards the playground. She glanced at her watch and realized it was already noon.
But the soldiers were still training, their neat and loud slogans echoing throughout the camp.
They wore green military uniforms characteristic of that era, which, though somewhat worn, were neat and crisp.
Although it was already early November, autumn in Guangxi Province, like in Guangdong Province, was still very hot, not as crisp and clear as described in books.
As Song Zhe approached them, the soldiers shouted, "Battalion Commander!"
"Ask them to help move the things from the truck to the canteen," Song Zhe instructed the company commander.
"yes."
The company commander immediately dismissed them and ordered them to follow Song Zhe to help.
The soldiers were overjoyed to hear that they could finally be dismissed and could finally rest. The training had been hot, they were hungry and thirsty.
"Battalion Commander, what are you moving? Is it food?" asked Xiao Wang, a squad leader from the first company.
Xiao Wang is not afraid of Song Zhe the most and likes to follow behind him the most, so he dares to ask Song Zhe about anything.
"You'll know once you come and move it. Ask if it's good after you've eaten it," Song Zhe said expressionlessly.
Everyone was very excited when they heard that; it must taste delicious, and they would eat more later.
Song Zhe led them to Su Tian and introduced her to them.
"Hello everyone," Su Tian greeted them with a smile.
"Oh... hello."
When the soldiers saw Su Tian, they suddenly became like stutterers, their eyes instantly drawn to her as if under a spell.
It was rare to see girls in the military camp, especially fair-skinned, beautiful, and gentle girls.
Moreover, they found that Su Tian spoke sweetly, so sweetly that it touched their hearts, and she also seemed so gentle.
Later, they saw Su Tian beat the enemy half to death.
I then discovered that her gentleness was just a facade; she was a ruthless devil inside.
