Standing in front of the villa, Su Tian noticed that it was two stories high. She looked at the wooden window frames with their antique color, and the glass had a slightly yellowish sheen in the sunlight.
The villa is surrounded by tall trees, whose shade, cast by the setting sun, envelops the house.
"Why hasn't Xiao Mu come back from picking up Xiao Zhe at the train station yet? It's already this late," Song Zhe's grandmother asked anxiously.
"Why are you in such a hurry? It takes an hour to get from our house to the train station."
Just sit quietly and wait; it's not like you haven't seen him before.
Despite his stern exterior, Grandpa Song spoke to Grandma Song with a touch of affection; this old woman, despite her age, was still so impatient.
"He said he would bring a friend back to stay, but I don't know if it's a man or a woman?" Grandma Song continued to ask.
"You know Xiao Zhe, he definitely brought a boy with him. He wouldn't bother talking to girls, so why would he bring one back?"
"That's true. Xiao Zhe has never liked playing with girls since he was a child. He always hangs out with that kid Lu Yu."
While Song Zhe's grandparents were discussing things inside, Song Zhe and Qin Mu brought Su Tian in.
"Grandpa and Grandma, I'm back."
Song Zhe, carrying his luggage bag, saw his grandparents and happily called out to them.
"Grandpa and Grandma, I've brought Xiao Zhe and his friend back with me."
Grandpa Song was sitting in his rocking chair reading the newspaper when he heard the noise and looked up.
A pair of shrewd eyes lit up instantly, and a smile involuntarily spread across his face.
This guy actually brought his girlfriend home? Is she his girlfriend?
This girl is really pretty, with clear eyes and a pure heart; she's a good child.
When Grandma Song saw the girl next to her grandson, her eyes widened instantly, filled with love and joy, as if stars were hidden in her eyes.
Her smile was like a blooming flower, and the crow's feet at the corners of her eyes curved into beautiful arcs as she kept muttering, "Oh my, this girl is so pretty!"
Afraid that his grandparents might frighten Su Tian, Song Zhe quickly introduced her, "Grandpa and Grandma, this is my friend, Su Tian."
Su Tian, these are my grandparents.
"Hello, Grandpa Song and Grandma Song," Su Tian greeted sweetly.
"Okay, all is well. It's good that you're back. Xiao Mu, you've worked hard. Have dinner at home tonight. Dinner will be ready soon."
“Okay, Grandma,” Qin Mu replied happily.
"Grandpa and Grandma, I'll take Su Tian upstairs to put away her luggage first, and then we'll wash up before coming down for dinner. Please sit for a while."
"Come on, Su Tian, I'll take you up."
"Okay, Grandpa Song and Grandma Song, I'll go upstairs with Song Zhe first."
"Okay, go ahead and wash up quickly. We'll be waiting for you downstairs."
Grandma Song watched with a smile as Song Zhe and Su Tian went upstairs. They had been up there for a while, but she was still reluctant to sit down.
"Old woman, that's enough, don't scare them away."
Grandpa Song was worried that his wife's enthusiasm might scare people away.
"Where? I liked Su Tian the moment I saw her; she's just my type," Grandma Song said with a smile.
Qin Mu looked at his maternal grandparents and couldn't help but laugh.
"Grandma, Grandpa is telling the truth. Don't scare away the girl that Xiao Zhe worked so hard to bring back."
"Where? Su Tian speaks so gently and softly, her voice is melodious and clear. She's definitely from the South," Grandma Song said affectionately.
Song Zhe led Su Tian upstairs to his room. "This is my room. You can sleep in mine, okay?"
"OK."
Song Zhe opened the door and let Su Tian in.
"I called my family a few days ago and they've already tidied up, so you can sleep soundly."
I've put your bag on the stool. You can wash up first.
The towels in the shower room are all new, as are the toothbrushes and toothpaste; they're all for your use.
I'm sleeping in the guest room next door. Just call me if you need anything.
"Okay, thank you."
Su Tian looked at Song Zhe happily and then closed the door.
His grandparents are so cute, Su Tian couldn't help but laugh.
She opened her duffel bag, took out the clothes she needed to change into, and quickly went to the shower room to prepare to shower and wash her hair.
Fifteen minutes later, she finished washing up. She dried her hair with a towel for a while, and then there was a knock on the door.
Su Tian walked over and opened the door, where she saw Song Zhe standing outside.
"Here, you can use this hairdryer. I got it from my mom's room."
"Okay, thank you. You're so thoughtful. I'll go downstairs with you after I'm done drying my hair. Please come in and sit for a while."
"Okay, I'll wait for you."
Song Zhe sat on the stool and watched Su Tian blow-dry her hair. The wind from the hairdryer lifted a few strands of her hair, making her look exceptionally lazy and charming.
"Okay, here you go."
Su Tian tossed her hair in front of her and handed the hairdryer to Song Zhe.
"I'll leave it here for now, you can take it later if you want it."
After Song Zhe finished speaking, he put the hairdryer on the table and took Su Tian downstairs.
"You're done with your work, Su Tian? Come and sit down." Grandma Song smiled as she looked at Su Tian.
"Okay, thank you, Grandma."
After Su Tian finished speaking, she sat down. Song Zhe sat next to Su Tian, and Qin Mu sat opposite him.
Looking at the sumptuous dishes on the table, Su Tian suddenly felt hungry.
Song Zhe busied himself getting Su Tian a bowl of chicken soup, and after finishing Su Tian's bowl, he also got a bowl for his grandparents.
When Grandpa and Grandma Song saw their grandson like this, they immediately realized: this boy must be deeply in love, and Su Tian can't tell yet, so she doesn't know yet.
