"Going to the mountains to dig for wild vegetables?" Su Tian said quietly.
“Yes, Su Tian, let’s go together. It’ll be good for you to keep Xiao Hui company,” Feng Zhu said with a smile.
"Okay." As soon as Su Tian finished speaking, Pang Xiaohui said impatiently, "Then let's go quickly."
"Wait, let me finish breakfast first." Su Tian was deliberately stalling them, making them anxious.
"Yes, let Tian'er finish breakfast before she goes with you. What's the rush?" Grandma Song said with a smile.
"Heh, we're not in a hurry. We'll wait until you finish breakfast before we talk," Feng Zhu could only say, barely containing her anger.
By the time Su Tian finished breakfast, it was already 10:30.
"Let's go, I'll show you just how good the wild vegetables in the countryside really are," Su Tian said meaningfully, looking at Feng Zhu and her daughter.
Su Tian glanced at Pang Xiaohui. Was this person really going hiking?
Who goes hiking in high heels? Isn't that just asking for trouble? This ugly girl is quite vain.
When they walked out of the compound gate, the other family members inside were already waiting to gather at the gate.
"Is everyone here? If so, we're leaving," Aunt Li said.
"Everyone's here, let's go. This is our newest comrade, Su Tian. She's a guest of the Song family, and she'll be coming with us to dig for wild vegetables," Feng Zhu introduced to everyone.
"This girl is really pretty. Even if she doesn't like digging for wild vegetables, she can still enjoy the scenery on the mountain," Aunt Wang said with a smile, looking at Su Tian.
“Yes, I was just thinking of seeing the scenery around Beijing,” Su Tian said with a smile.
The crowd was filled with laughter and chatter, talking about trivial matters in the courtyard. Everyone's face was beaming with a bright smile.
In this relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, half an hour later, Su Tian saw the magnificent view from the mountaintop come into view.
"Let's go up the mountain. There are more wild vegetables there," Feng Zhu suggested to the group.
Everyone agreed that it made sense, and they all climbed up the mountain.
Su Tian noticed that Pang Xiaohui, whose face was covered, was showing increasingly excited eyes, making no attempt to hide it.
Feng Zhu's expression remained unchanged; she still wore her usual smile. This woman's mind was truly deep.
When everyone finally arrived at the top of the mountain, Su Tian's sharp eyes quickly scanned the surroundings and soon discovered several rather steep slopes not far away.
The hillside is covered with stones of all sizes, piled up haphazardly.
But the wild grass and vegetables on the hillside were indeed growing quite lushly. What were they planning to do? Did they intend to push her down?
"Wow, there are so many wild vegetables here! Let's hurry up and dig some!" Aunt Li said excitedly.
Others chimed in, “Yes, there are definitely a lot.”
“Su Tian, aren’t you going to dig? If not, the scenery over there looks quite beautiful. It’s your first time in Beijing, so see how the scenery of the mountains in Beijing differs from that in your countryside,” Feng Zhu said enthusiastically.
"Great! I was just wondering if the scenery here is more beautiful than the place where I went to the countryside."
Su Tian slowly walked up the steep hillside and noticed that Feng Zhu and her daughter were also walking behind her.
As Su Tian approached the edge of the hillside, Feng Zhu and her daughter quietly drew near.
Pang Xiaohui excitedly moved quickly toward Su Tian, just as she reached out to push Su Tian.
Unexpectedly, she slipped, and Su Tian quickly dodged to the side. Pang Xiaohui fell forward and rolled down the steep slope.
"Xiao Hui!" Feng Zhu cried out in terror.
Everyone was startled by the shout and quickly stood up, surrounding Feng Zhu.
"Oh no! How did your Xiaohui fall down such a steep slope? Why weren't you careful?" Aunt Li exclaimed in surprise.
Su Tian stood to the side with a smile, watching the chaotic scene.
"Did you push my Xiaohui?" Feng Zhu glared fiercely at Su Tian.
"How did my hand push her from behind when I was standing right in front of you?"
"Are you planning to push me down the mountain? No wonder you invited me to come dig for wild vegetables."
"Yeah, Su Tian was standing in front of you, why did she push Xiao Hui?" Everyone was talking about it.
"You, you didn't push her, so how did my Xiaohui fall down?" Feng Zhu was unwilling to give up and insisted on framing Su Tian for this.
"She slipped and fell, didn't she? Didn't you see what kind of shoes she was wearing?"
"Wearing high heels while hiking, who else would fall if not her?" Su Tian calmly retorted.
"Right, Feng Zhu, what are you still talking nonsense about? Why don't you hurry down the mountain and look for Xiao Hui?" Aunt Wang advised.
Yes, she was so busy arguing with that bitch Su Tian that she forgot to go down the mountain to find her daughter.
"Everyone, please help me, come down the mountain with me to find Xiao Hui," Feng Zhu pleaded.
"Okay, let's all go down and help look for them. We won't be digging for wild vegetables today."
Everyone was so busy watching the two women argue that they forgot about Pang Xiaohui down the mountain.
"Mom, Mom, help! It hurts so much, waah..."
Why isn't anyone coming to save her? Mommy, Mommy, Mommy...
Oh my god, someone come quick! Why isn't my mom here yet?
Mommy Mommy Mommy…
Pang Xiaohui shouted for a long time, but she was in pain all over and couldn't move her legs. She was so weak from shouting that she could barely keep her breath.
Pang Xiaohui lay on the pebbles, which hurt her a lot from hitting her.
That bitch Su Tian, why wasn't it her who fell? Why was it me?
Her foot really hurt; she tried to move it, but the pain was unbearable.
