After leaving the Chen family's house, Su Tian rushed to He Hua's house without stopping.
The He family's land was small, and three generations of the family lived in this courtyard, which was also located in a relatively remote area.
After looking around and finding no one, Su Tian nimbly jumped into the courtyard, found her way to He's parents' room, and took out a sleeping incense from her spatial storage to give them a "supplementary treat."
After confirming that she wouldn't be drugged, Su Tian quickly put all the cabinets, blankets, and clothes in the room into her spatial storage, leaving only a bed for them.
Su Tian shone her flashlight and noticed that their bed was uneven. Hmm, the quality was even worse than the Chen family's. Several of the bed legs were broken off, and the bed was bumpy, as if it would fall apart if pushed.
Moreover, their bed was eaten by termites, and the floor was covered with sawdust. How could they sleep peacefully on such a terrible bed?
Won't the building collapse if they're up to something at night? Or are they doing it on the ground?
Su Tian was too lazy to move their bed away as it took up space, and she ignored their dirty business. She moved to their living room and put away the dining chairs and table.
Hey, there's a bicycle in the corner that's about 70-80% new. I'll take it.
The kitchen was also taken away; they didn't even leave them firewood.
After cleaning up the kitchen, Su Tian didn't forget the rooms of the elderly couple and the other two households. She quickly emptied them as well, then patted her bottom and left.
When Su Tian ran back to the building of her family compound, she found a secluded corner, removed her disguise, and threw it into her spatial storage.
She quietly opened her door, then quietly went into her room, lay on her bed, and pondered what content might have been omitted from the original book.
She suddenly remembered that when He Hua came to the original owner's room, she saw a small box on the original owner's table, and the box contained a small gourd.
This little gourd is made of peach wood. It was obtained by her grandmother from a temple when she was a child, and it is believed to bring her peace and safety.
She had worn it since she was a child. One day, the rope broke, so she replaced it with a new rope and put it in a small box, intending to wear it again when she had time.
Who knew that He Hua, who came to the door, saw it and, trying to please the original owner, asked for the small gourd, intending to wear it for a few days before returning it.
The original owner felt a little reluctant, as this was something she had worn since childhood. However, she couldn't resist He Hua's pleading and lent it to her for a few days.
He Hua has been wearing it all this time and hasn't returned it, nor has she urged her to return it. Su Tian feels helpless about this: the original owner was too kind and sentimental, which is why she was so easily fooled.
Therefore, Su Tian just wants to get a good night's sleep now, and go to the green tea's house tomorrow to retrieve the original owner's belongings. She also hopes to watch the scumbag green tea put on a good show tomorrow.
The next morning, when Su Tian arrived at Chen Gang's room, she saw the two of them gazing at each other affectionately inside. Their eyes were practically glued together.
They're shameless even in broad daylight; they're really shameless. Su Tian was speechless.
Their house was robbed, and the family members were arguing and making a scene at the front door. They almost came to blows with the neighbors who usually quarreled, but the couple was having an affair inside the house.
These two families are really something, someone even lent them clothes. She thought they would walk out naked?
Upon hearing the commotion and seeing Su Tian's arrival, Chen Gang and He Hua immediately became flustered. He Hua, in particular, kept avoiding eye contact, looking like she had done something wrong.
Su Tian sneered inwardly. She glanced at He Hua's neck—nothing there? That shouldn't be the case. But outwardly, she said calmly, "I'm here to retrieve my things."
After saying that, she ignored the two of them and went straight into the house to start searching.
Chen Gang and He Hua stood to the side, their expressions shifting. They seemed to want to stop Su Tian, but didn't know how to start.
Not long after, Su Tian found her little gourd under Chen Gang's pillow. Holding the gourd in her hand, she glanced back at Chen Gang and He Hua, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes.
He Hua, however, acted as if nothing was wrong, and hesitantly greeted, "Su Tian, I just asked Brother Chen Gang to help me apply some medicated oil. I put it under my pillow because I was afraid of getting your little gourd dirty. Don't overthink it."
"Oh, look at you saying that. I thought Chen Gang's house was your home. Look at you acting like the master of the house." Su Tian said bluntly.
Chen Gang immediately retorted, "Su Tian, what nonsense are you talking about? He Hua couldn't reach me to apply the medicine, so I helped her. The three of us are good friends. He Hua only put it on my bed because she was afraid of getting your things dirty."
"Really? Oh, I came today to let you know that I'm going to the countryside the day after tomorrow. Have you all prepared your train tickets?"
Upon hearing this, Chen Gang asked in confusion, "Su Tian, what do you mean by that?"
The train journey from Guangdong Province to Donghai City in Guangxi Province takes two days and two nights. Didn't you say your dad would get us three sleeper tickets?
He Hua also said eagerly, "Yes, Su Tian, you just told us a few days ago that we could get three tickets."
The three of us are good friends, you wouldn't have the heart to treat us like this, would you? Besides, Chen Gang is your boyfriend, how can you bear to see him suffer?"
Hearing the two of them chatting so sweetly, Su Tian almost threw up her dinner from the night before.
Su Tian said coldly, "I don't care about the tickets. Did you get better after being beaten yesterday? You were having an affair in your room first thing this morning. You're really something. Looks like the other person didn't beat you enough. Humph."
After Su Tian finished speaking, she quickly left this unlucky place.
"She...she just left like that?"
What does she mean by that?
...
Watching Su Tian resolutely leave, Chen Gang and He Hua exchanged bewildered glances.
Because the He family had a large number of members, and He Hua was not well-liked in the family, she was naturally chosen to go to the countryside.
