Su Tian prepared the medicines and placed them on his table. She then pushed her bicycle out and locked the courtyard gate.
She rode her bicycle to the state-run restaurant, went in and bought ten meat buns and twenty white flour steamed buns. After paying and receiving the ration coupons, she rode her bicycle towards Songjia Village.
When she reached the fork in the road, she could faintly hear a woman shouting "Help!" from the cornfield.
She immediately parked her car and quickly ran across the cornfield to the location of the accident.
