Chapter 2: This uncle is someone the whole city doesn't want to mess with!
"I will not marry you, I am already married!"
After saying this with a cold face, Song Chi walked towards his room.
Upon hearing this, Li Chengwei rushed forward and blocked Song Chi's path.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Mr. Wang is right here. Who could you possibly marry?"
Song Chi pulled out her marriage certificate: "Of course it's with my husband. If you keep pressuring me, I'm committing bigamy and I'll go to jail."
Li Chengwei stared at the bright red certificate with hatred in his eyes, as if he could see the five million yuan dowry slipping away in front of him.
Enraged, Mr. Wang smashed the water glass to pieces.
"Li Chengwei, you've messed with me!"
Li Chengwei was so frightened he almost knelt down.
"President Wang, please calm down. It was all that little bitch Song Chi who made the decision on her own. I've supported her for so many years, and without my consent, this marriage certificate is invalid!"
After Li Chengwei finished speaking, he rushed over and snatched Song Chi's marriage certificate.
Song Chi stumbled as he was pushed, but clung tightly to the marriage certificate, refusing to give it up.
"This is my marriage certificate, let go!"
As the two were struggling, suddenly, a pair of greasy hands grabbed her.
"Song Chi, it's okay that you're married, you haven't even had a chance to consummate your marriage yet, have you? Let me have a taste for your husband first."
Song Chi felt extremely disgusted. She pushed Li Chengwei away with all her might, and the next moment, she bit Wang Zong's arm hard.
Mr. Wang cried out in pain and immediately let go.
Song Chi knew something was wrong, so he turned and ran outside.
Mr. Wang's face darkened: "Li Chengwei, you don't want the five million anymore, do you?"
Upon hearing this, Li Chengwei immediately rushed over and blocked Song Chi's path.
Song Chi's fear grew infinitely. Her eyes fell on the chair beside her. Without thinking, as they approached her, she picked up the chair and smashed it at them!
"Don't come any closer! If you dare touch me, I'll take you all down with me!"
Li Chengwei gritted his teeth, his eyes flashing with malice.
"Even if you die, this body of yours can only belong to President Wang."
Li Chengwei and General Manager Wang pressed closer and closer, until Song Chi was pushed against the wall with nowhere to escape.
She never imagined that these two men could be so disgusting.
She would rather die than let them succeed. Her eyes were filled with hatred, she gritted her teeth, picked up a fruit knife from the table next to her, and prepared to fight them to the death!
Suddenly the door was kicked open.
Mu Yin heard her scream from downstairs, rushed in, and looked at the scene in the room with a gloomy expression.
"Dare to touch her! You're asking for death!"
"Who are you? Get lost... Ouch..."
Before Li Chengwei could finish speaking, he was kicked away!
Seeing this, Mr. Wang knew he was no match for them, and he retreated repeatedly, swallowing hard.
"You...you know who I am?"
Mu Yin's sharp gaze swept over him, and then, without any mercy, he kicked him away again.
"I don't care who you are, you're not allowed to touch my people!"
Mu Yin was like a hero who descended from the sky, arriving in Song Chi's world against the light.
Mu Yin moved closer to her: "It's alright now."
Song Chi: "..."
Since her parents passed away, no one, except her aunt, has ever treated her so well.
She burst into tears and collapsed into his arms.
Mu Yin stiffened; he could sense her fear, grievance, and terror.
Mu Yin awkwardly patted her back.
A strange emotion flashed through his mind, and he picked up Song Chi in his arms.
He glanced coldly at the two men on the ground.
"I'm taking her away. If you dare touch her again, you'll face the consequences!"
The person on the ground was kicked so hard they almost died, and could only watch helplessly as Mu Yin took them away.
On the bus
Song Chi slumped into his chair like a deflated balloon.
"Uncle, thank you. I lost both my parents when I was young and was adopted by my aunt. My aunt is timid and indecisive, and my uncle is a gambler who owes Boss Wang five million in gambling debts and can't pay them back. He wants to use me to pay off his debts, which is why I'm in a hurry to get married. Last time at the hotel, it was my uncle who tried to harm me, which is why I went to your room by mistake. This family is a bottomless pit, but don't worry, I won't let them cause you any trouble."
Song Chi didn't want to reopen old wounds, but Mu Yin had seen her at her most vulnerable, so she felt there was nothing left to hide.
Mu Yin frowned slightly: "It's alright, let them come if they don't care about their lives."
Song Chi thought Mu Yin was just saying things out of anger, and felt uneasy.
"You're just an ordinary person, so please don't get into any conflicts with them because of me. We can't afford to offend that Mr. Wang."
Mu Yin's eyes were unfriendly.
Her family doesn't look like nice people at all; things are probably not going to be peaceful for them in the future!
However, she was already his wife, and regardless of whether he loved her or not, he would not tolerate anyone humiliating her!
Song Chi had no idea that the man in front of her was someone the entire city dared not offend.
Mu Yin drove away.
Let's go.
Where to?
"Go to Hongyang Community, that's where I live!"
Unbeknownst to Song Chi, Mu Yin was secretly plotting something.
He just told his parents that he married a girl from an ordinary family. His grandfather is worried that he has married a wife who only knows how to enjoy life and not how to endure hardship, so he suggested that he buy an apartment in a residential complex to test her for a while before being completely honest with her...
On the way, Song Chi asked, "Uncle, what do you do for a living?"
