Chapter 4 Smelling One by One

Chapter 4 Smelling One by One

Chen Jingyang smiled with satisfaction, released Zhang Pengfei, made a phone call to someone, and after hanging up, he slightly tossed his head, gesturing for Zhang Pengfei to get in the car.

Zhang Pengfei knew that Chen Jingyang would definitely do what he promised, but he still wanted to confirm: "What do you plan to do?"

However, Chen Jingyang's patience had run out. He glanced at him and said, "Don't ask around. Just do your job."

"It's my duty?" Zhang Pengfei smiled wryly. Yes, from this moment on, whatever Chen Jingyang said was law, and he didn't need to worry about it.

From leaving the hotel to stepping back into the room, only two hours passed, but for Zhang Pengfei, it was far more than just going out and coming back.

This door is more like a dividing line. Outside the door is the human world, and inside is hell. It's just a matter of taking a step from the human world to hell, but it's much more difficult to step back into the human world from hell.

"What are you dawdling about standing at the door for?" Chen Jingyang urged him from the sofa.

Zhang Pengfei took a deep breath, sighed heavily, stepped into the room, and closed the door.

It was the same room, though it had been cleaned and the bedding had been changed. There was also a bouquet of flowers on the table that emitted a faint fragrance, but Zhang Pengfei had no good feelings towards this place that had ravaged him.

"Come here!" Chen Jingyang poured himself a glass of red wine, gently held the stem, crossed his legs, and issued his first command.

Zhang Pengfei suppressed his inner resistance, walked over, and looked down at the gray plush carpet on the ground.

"Do you know what posture to use when asking for a favor?"

Zhang Pengfei subconsciously clenched his fist, and his teeth accidentally hit the tender flesh in his mouth again. What was bound to happen would happen eventually, so why was he still having unrealistic fantasies!

Zhang Pengfei's knee joint was stiff, resistant, and unfamiliar, but he didn't keep Chen Jingyang waiting for long. Under Chen Jingyang's teasing gaze, he bent his bone, making it intimately contact the carpet.

A tremendous, indescribable sense of satisfaction and joy welled up in Chen Jingyang's heart!

But humans are a species that is extremely prone to greed. Once they have tasted the sweetness, they crave more, until they are completely devoured and left with nothing!

Therefore, an uncontrollable thought began to grow wildly in Chen Jingyang's mind, and he himself did not even know why.

If he couldn't figure it out, he'd leave it for now. Chen Jingyang wouldn't ruin his enjoyment. He took a small sip of red wine, looked at Zhang Pengfei with a half-smile, and asked with the composure and authority of a superior, "What should you call me?"

Zhang Pengfei looked up blankly; he genuinely didn't know.

However, this clear yet foolish look unexpectedly delighted Chen Jingyang. He was very patient, even gentle, and with a strong sense of seduction, bent down as if teaching a baby to speak: "Call me..."

But Zhang Pengfei's first words ruined his pleasant mood: "What did you say?"

Are you kidding me?! Why won't you let me call you "Your Majesty"?!

This is the 21st century, and the People's Republic of China has been established for more than 70 years. Did Chen Jingyang travel from the past or is he still asleep?

Arise, ye who refuse to be slaves! Zhang Pengfei wanted to sing the national anthem to him!

Chen Jingyang's face turned cold: "Zhang Pengfei, remember what you said to me before, or you'll regret being born!"

Zhang Pengfei felt a chill run down his spine. Yes, his current role was not human.

The room fell into a deathly silence. Chen Jingyang didn't urge him. His psychological defenses were hard to break; he needed time.

After a long while, Zhang Pengfei called out in a low voice.

Chen Jingyang smiled with satisfaction: "Continue!"

Zhang Pengfei: "**"

"continue!"

Zhang Pengfei: "**"

"Keep going, keep calling until I tell you to stop!"

With each repeated sound, Chen Jingyang unknowingly finished the glass of red wine.

This brick-red liquid first gives you a lingering fruity sweetness, then you experience the slight astringency of tannins that gently tightens in your throat, followed by the aroma of truffles that surges up from your nasal cavity, and finally leaves a honey-like aftertaste on your lips.

Chen Jingyang thought it was the effects of this top-grade red wine that made him almost addicted to it, and he didn't even realize how fatally attractive this so-called "pet" was to him.

A sudden knocking sound rang out, and Zhang Pengfei instinctively turned his head to look, his words abruptly cut off.

Chen Jingyang was displeased and reached out to hook his face towards hers: "Did I tell you to stop?"

Zhang Pengfei's heart skipped a beat, his eyelashes trembled, and he lowered his eyes to apologize: "I'm sorry."

Chen Jingyang chuckled: "And then?"

Zhang Pengfei had no choice but to call out again.

Chen Jingyang landed, released Zhang Pengfei, and praised him, "Well done, stop now."

They only made him stop, but didn't make him get up.

Zhang Pengfei watched Chen Jingyang go to open the door, his heart suddenly pounding: What if a second person saw him like this?!

However, he was clearly overthinking it. Chen Jingyang opened the door a crack, and the person outside handed in a box and left.

Zhang Pengfei felt a huge weight lifted from his heart. When he came to his senses, he realized that his back was covered in a layer of cold sweat.

Chen Jingyang seemed oblivious to what Zhang Pengfei had been afraid of. With a wicked grin, he placed the box in front of him, sat down on the sofa, and said succinctly, "Open it!"

Zhang Pengfei opened the box as instructed, and his pupils widened in shock—it was a whole box full of brand-new 100-yuan bills!

Chen Jingyang smiled slightly at Zhang Pengfei's expression of never having seen so much money before, and said in a calm voice, "Do you remember what you said before you left?"

Zhang Pengfei suddenly looked up, his heart pounding!

Of course he remembers!

But what was Chen Jingyang planning to do by putting a box of money in front of him?

He was still shaken by those hundreds of repetitions; he was truly afraid of Chen Jingyang's twisted sense of humor!

"Speak!" Chen Jingyang warned impatiently, "If you don't answer another question, don't blame me for punishing you!"

Zhang Pengfei swallowed hard and said with difficulty, "I remember."

“Repeat it once.”

"...Don't think you can do whatever you want just because you have a few stinking coins. I will pay you back every penny, with interest."

Chen Jingyang sneered and glanced at him: "Take out a bill."

Zhang Pengfei dared not disobey and obediently did as instructed.

"Put it under your nose and smell it. Does this bill smell bad?"

Zhang Pengfei was stunned. He knew Chen Jingyang would torture him, but he didn't expect Chen Jingyang to humiliate him like this!

"What, you don't know how?"

Zhang Pengfei suddenly gave a bitter smile, earnestly put the money under his nose and smelled it, almost with a kind of piety: "Money doesn't smell bad."

That thing called dignity is truly indomitable; even after being beaten to the eighteenth level of hell, it can still climb out!

Chen Jingyang poured himself another glass of red wine and calmly drank it: "This one doesn't smell bad, but what about the others? Let me smell them one by one, and then tell me if they smell bad or not!"
