Chapter 32: Give Me Enough
Actually, Zhang Pengfei was wrong. Chen Jingyang was very patient, but he simply couldn't understand Zhang Huahua's thought process. Sometimes he really couldn't understand why such a simple question was so difficult for Zhang Huahua. Why couldn't she do it?
Zhang Pengfei had to work overtime that day, so he asked Chen Jingyang if he could pick up Huahua from school.
Chen Jingyang happened to have an appointment to go boxing, so he brought Huahua to the club to play as well.

"Brother Jingyang, let me play a little longer." Don't underestimate Huahua because of her young age; she's much better at being affectionate than her brother. With her big, bright eyes, Chen Jingyang couldn't resist her and immediately took her to the nearby shopping mall to buy a new tablet computer.
It was a very common thing; what child doesn't play like that? Chen Jingyang played wildly when he was a child, so he didn't take it to heart at all and forgot about it completely in a few days.
Unexpectedly, a tablet computer caused a huge uproar!
The incident started when Zhang Pengfei asked Huahua to copy and recite poems from the textbook. She was the only one in the class who couldn't recite them from memory. Liu Yueqin spoke to Zhang Pengfei privately, hoping that the child could practice more at home.
Zhang Pengfei had never caused his parents any worry about his studies since he was a child. But with Zhang Huahua, it was a different story. Every few days, she would complain about something she couldn't do or couldn't do. As a result, Zhang Pengfei's biggest fear now was receiving a call or message from Liu Yueqin—it was never going to be good news!
After assigning the tasks, Zhang Pengfei went into the kitchen to wash rice, vegetables, and meat. After a busy half hour, he felt that Hua Hua's task was almost finished, so he simmered the porridge over a low flame and came over to check the homework.
As soon as he pushed open the door, he felt like the sky had fallen—Hua Hua was kneeling on the ground, engrossed in playing with a tablet computer, and hadn’t even noticed him walking behind him!
Liu Yueqin said that Huahua always gets distracted in class and can't concentrate, but she can concentrate very well when playing games!
"Zhang Huahua!"
Hua Hua was startled, and her first reaction was to quickly stuff the tablet into the blanket!
Zhang Pengfei's head was buzzing with anger. That silly little Hua Hua actually dared to hide something right under his nose!

Hesitantly, she took out her tablet, tried her best to keep her mouth shut, hunched her neck, and looked up at him. Large tears rolled down her cheeks like a frightened kitten.
Zhang Pengfei took it, barely suppressing the urge to smash the tablet: "Where did this come from?!"
"It was bought by Brother Jingyang."
"When was it bought?!"
"I bought it... a few days ago." Zhang Huahua scratched her head, unable to pinpoint the exact date.
Zhang Pengfei was furious. He had bought the tablet several days ago, and he only found out about it today!
So these two conspired to keep it from him!
"Homework! Have you finished it?!"
Zhang Huahua shook her head.
"You dare play games before you've finished writing?!"
Zhang Huahua didn't dare to say a word.
"How much have you written?!"
Zhang Huahua's eyelashes fluttered, but she still didn't dare to say a word. Zhang Pengfei walked to the desk, picked up the notebook and looked at it. Well, not a single word was written!
But while he was cooking, Zhang Huahua was sharpening pencils and arranging erasers, looking very serious about doing her homework!
Zhang Pengfei slammed his workbook down!
This is intolerable!
Not only is she stupid, but she also doesn't work hard enough and has even learned to lie to him, daring to play games behind his back!

Zhang Huahua burst into tears from fright.

Just as the stalemate was at hand, the door clicked open—Chen Jingyang had returned.
Hua Hua immediately looked over with hopeful eyes, whimpering softly, almost crying out for Jing Yang to save her!
"I'm back!" Chen Jingyang changed into slippers, wondering why the house was so quiet today, and walked suspiciously toward Hua Hua's room.
Before they even stepped through the door, Zhang Pengfei roared, "Get out!"
Chen Jingyang was startled and looked inside. Zhang Pengfei was standing by the bed with a livid face, and Zhang Huahua was standing in the corner like a little quail. Both of them were staring at him. The difference was that Zhang Pengfei's eyes shot out arrows, while Huahua's eyes threw out hooks!
Chen Jingyang was stunned for a moment, then, after realizing the situation, he quickly turned around, opened the door and left without saying a word.
Zhang Pengfei clearly wanted to educate the child; he didn't want to stand there and attract attention.
Besides, we should at least give Zhang Pengfei some face in front of Hua Hua.
Chen Jingyang called Wang Tao: "Dinner will be served later, I'm coming over now."
Wang Tao was taken aback at first, then immediately laughed: "President Chen, what do you mean by this? We finally have a get-together, and you wouldn't come no matter how much I begged you at the company, insisting on going home for dinner. Why have you changed your mind now?"
Chen Jingyang smiled and said, "My family is disciplining their child, and I'm in the way. I have nowhere else to go, so I might as well go and freeload a meal."
The meal lasted until 10 p.m., and when Chen Jingyang got home it was almost 11 p.m., and he found that Hua Hua was still doing her homework!
The child was so sleepy that she kept rubbing her eyes. Chen Jingyang couldn't bear to see it, so he went in, patted Huahua's head, and told her to go to sleep.
Zhang Pengfei's face darkened, and he said coldly, "You're not allowed to sleep!"
Chen Jingyang frowned, glanced at him, and exuded a faint aura of pressure: "Zhang Pengfei, that's enough. Stop it!"
