Chapter 120 Lies Hyuga sat in the car, still thinking about the face she had just seen…

Hinata sat in the car, still thinking about the two contestants whose expressions suddenly became strange earlier, because they heard Tsuna's name.

Is Xiaogang famous in Italy?

Hinata couldn't help but feel strange that everyone seemed to know his childhood friend.

He couldn't figure it out himself, so he simply asked the person directly.

"Xiao Gang, why do they all seem to know you?"

Sawada Tsunayoshi was flipping through documents again, as if he had endless things to deal with. Seeing that Hyuga was at the Vongola headquarters, she certainly didn't think that her childhood friend's family just ran an ordinary company. She understood why Tsunayoshi was so busy.

Could it be that the Kogane family is actually quite famous, like a large conglomerate?

The young leader replied while looking at the new documents sent to him by his family members, "It's strange. As soon as I returned to Italy, all the work came out like insects crawling out from every corner, so dense and intimidating."

"The Vongola is a long-established family, and it's also a mafia, so people might pay more attention to it, especially since the Vongola also sponsors the Shell Club. It's normal for them to know that I'm the BOSS."

Hinata pondered for a moment, "Speaking of which, Vongola is just the name of a clam, and it's somewhat similar to a seashell. So it's quite normal for everyone to know that Tsuna is the boss."

As Xiao Gang's childhood friend, he actually searched for some information related to Xiao Gang's family, but he couldn't find anything about the family, but he did find information about the clam.

He touched his nose, looking at the rows of Italian text on Tsuna's tablet screen. Hinata would get dizzy reading Japanese, just like Tsuna in elementary and middle school, but now the other was able to handle it fluently.

Furthermore, he felt that the expressions Louis and Anton gave Xiaogang earlier didn't seem like they were simply looking at the big boss; it was more like...

Hinata compared the figures in his mind to the characters, as if he had suddenly seen a legendary figure appear before him. It wasn't just shock anymore; there was a more complex emotion in Hinata's eyes, one that he couldn't understand, mixed with admiration and respect.

Admiration?

His brain was about to freeze. Would employees feel this way when they see their boss?

Sawada Tsunayoshi, seeing that Hyuga had been quiet for a while, couldn't help but look up at him. "Sho, is there anything else you want to ask?"

Hinata has a ton of questions she wants to ask!

But he had already asked the questions he needed to ask before. Some of them were answered by Xiao Gang, some were just glossed over, and if he really couldn't get the answers, he would just blink at you. Hinata couldn't bear to pry into the details.

Even though he was really worried, since Sawada Tsunayoshi was often injured in middle school, even to the point of being life-threatening, Hyuga couldn't feel at ease no matter what.

Finally, he shook his head, his tone as light as ever, "No, not at all."

Everyone appeared neatly for dinner. Hinata noticed that Varian and his group were still at headquarters, the department that openly claimed to be unwilling to live with Tsuna, and were now having dinner with Tsuna at the same table.

"...I told you long ago that that family isn't honest. Not just them, but the rest should be dealt with as soon as possible, lest things get complicated." Squalo sat on the other side, waving his fork indignantly after listening to Sawada Tsunayoshi's concise summary.

Hinata was momentarily dazed before realizing he was supposed to listen to the translation. The voice was so loud, it seemed to be buzzing and echoing in his mind.

But the others were used to it. Basil, seizing the opportunity, slipped a few pieces of vegetables onto the chief's plate, though some disapproved.

“Although the other families are not honest either, they haven’t really done anything wrong. The Vongola family isn’t unreasonable either. I think that even if we’re going to deal with them, we should wait until they slip up.”

Bell didn't care. "Then let's find fault. Just pick some mistakes and put them on to criticize it."

Even though he knew these people were members of the mafia, Hinata still felt that he shouldn't be sitting there. Was it really appropriate to talk to them about these things so openly?

Sawada Tsunayoshi finished eating his vegetables under Irie's watchful gaze, his expression one of terror.

"Let's not do this kind of thing! Maybe they will change. It's unfair to judge the future based on the past."

The rules were established after he took over Vongola, so as long as he doesn't make any mistakes now, the junior boss doesn't really want to make a judgment based on some things that happened before.

Hyuga noticed that Varian's boss gave a cold laugh, probably saying that Sawada Tsunayoshi was naive, but they didn't really refute it.

"Is the headphone translator working well?" Irie Shoichi asked, noticing that Tsuna had eaten enough vegetables that day and worrying about whether Hyuga was adjusting well to life in Italy.

"It works great! Did Xiaozheng make it?" Hyuga dared not think too deeply about why the Vongola could judge other families.

"Yes, I made it. If there are any problems, you can tell me and I'll help Xiaoxiang improve it."

Shoichi Irie realized that as Tsunayoshi grew older, he wouldn't keep everything from Sho anymore.

"Who knows, we might need it in the future?"

Hinata Shoyo won't only come to Italy once.

"Well, I won't need headphones anymore then," Hinata said confidently. "I'll learn Italian eventually and be able to communicate with everyone without any problems."

Gokudera pouted, "You barely passed the English quiz last time. Irie should focus on improving the headphones; there won't be a shortage of people to use them anytime soon."

Hinata retorted angrily, "Last time it was because I filled in the wrong answers!"

Sawada Tsunayoshi was secretly stuffing the last leaf of vegetable into another plate. He was spoiled by his family. Everyone at the table except Hyuga noticed the boss's little trick, but no one said anything to stop him.

Even Irie Shoichi turned a blind eye. Anyway, he had already eaten some, so if Tsuna-kun didn't like it, so be it. Next time, he would cook more vegetables that Tsuna-kun liked.

After dinner, Sawada Tsunayoshi was pulled aside by Varian to discuss business. The Italians' fondness for going to the club after work only reinforced the stereotypes Hyuga had today. No wonder the Vongola is such a large family; they're much more dedicated to their work than anyone else.

For example, he rarely saw Rokudo Mukuro at home. At first, he heard that Rokudo Mukuro didn't like being with the Vongola, but Chrome let it slip that he had been working diligently all along.

He's too diligent.

He and Irie Shoichi stood on the third-floor balcony. Last night, considering that he needed to rest, Irie didn't greet Hinata. Tonight, he finally found an opportunity.

"The last time I spoke to Xiaozheng face-to-face was a few years ago, and we've been keeping in touch by text message ever since."

Shoichi Irie touched the pendant around his neck. "Indeed, I was studying abroad at first, and now I'm in Italy. I haven't been back to Japan much."

"Where are Mom and Eri?"

"They would come to see me when I was studying abroad, but I don't see them much now."

"The same reason as Tsuna?" Hinata hit the nail on the head.

The red-haired boy, who was also much taller than Hinata, touched his nose, not surprised that Hinata would guess, "Yeah, I don't dare to go back."

Hinata started sulking again, not because he felt excluded, but because he didn't even have the chance to worry about his childhood friend.

"Will you go back in the future?" His tone was not very relaxed. The insurmountable barrier called growth separated him from Irie Shoichi and Sawada Tsunayoshi.

Irie laughed, "Of course I'm going back. I plan to go with you guys this time. Didn't we agree to cheer you on in the competition?"

"That's more like it," Hinata grumbled.

Even though his two childhood friends intended to keep some things from them, some things were unavoidable. Hinata had been fooled too many times, but he didn't want to be fooled anymore.

"Why are you still here? Is it because you don't want to leave, or..."

Can't leave?

He couldn't understand why, back in junior high, Sawada Tsunayoshi had often told him that he would never inherit the family business.

Irie didn't answer directly; he brought up something else.

"Tsuna-kun, although he's not good at lying to us about things, you'll always find that there are things he doesn't want you to know, you'll never know."
