Chapter 182 The Beginning of Trouble

The blood was scorching, and every blood vessel around the eye socket was clearly visible, like a relief sculpture surrounding the eye, or like countless straws desperately sucking something.

The other half of his face, however, was covered in thick hair and looked relatively normal. Among the dense hair was a tightly closed eye with a pale, bloodless eyelid, like a dry well in a patch of weeds, lifeless and gloomy.

Such a bizarre and abstract combination is unimaginable to anyone who hasn't seen it with their own eyes.

Li Sisui was also startled. He stumbled backward several steps and bumped into a tree before stopping, falling hard on his backside.

My heart felt like it had been struck by a heavy hammer, pounding as if it would jump out of my mouth. My hands and feet instantly turned ice-cold, and the last bit of courage I had before to run away evaporated without a trace, like water droplets under the scorching sun.

The only way to describe Li Sisui's feelings upon seeing this face is with utter helplessness, and his subconscious actions vividly demonstrate this in a literal sense.

The Cloud Piercer was also quite frightened, but compared to Li Sisui, he was relatively calm and composed, only subconsciously taking a few steps back.

However, seeing the six-tailed man's only open, bright red eye slowly move and then stop moving after seeing the Cloud Piercer, he involuntarily took a few steps back.

The six men slowly raised their right arms, their movements sluggish and somewhat shaky, a stark contrast to their muscular physiques, as if their arms were as heavy as a thousand-pound boulder.

After raising it to eye level, he spread his fingers and began to slowly rotate them towards the Cloud Piercer, as if twisting a mysterious mechanism in the void. His bloodshot eyes widened even more, as if they were about to pop out of their sockets at any moment.

Before the Cloud Piercer could react, he felt a tightness all over his body, as if he had been put into a transparent bag, and he could not move at all.

The stiff body slowly moved toward the palms of the six men, as if it were being drawn by an infinite force.

The Cloud Piercer left a deep drag mark behind him, the varying depths showing his struggle and helplessness at that moment.

The Cloud Piercer was like that; no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't move an inch, and was dragged for more than ten meters.

The blood that had soaked most of his body suddenly gushed out from the severed arm like a spring, flowing like a stream towards the sea, without hesitation.

Immediately afterwards, the Cloud Piercer was dragged into the blender. With a heavy, muffled sound, it was squeezed and condensed by an invisible force, turning into a bright red pulp. It was then swallowed whole by the six-tailed man without leaving a trace.

A living, breathing person was instantly killed and devoured by the strange figure before him.

He watched helplessly as the Cloud Piercer, who had fought alongside him for months, was devoured without lifting a finger.

Countless fragments of memories flooded into Li Sisui's mind subconsciously, including his brief acquaintance and time with the Cloud Piercer, as well as his various experiences after waking up, like a final burst of energy before death.

The memory was both long and short. Li Sisui looked at the six-tailed man whose eyes had turned even redder after devouring the Cloud Piercer, but the six-tailed man was also staring at Li Sisui with his scarlet eyes.

Ending like this, life really is a magical drama, only the ending is a bit disgusting.

Li Sisui couldn't help but close his eyes, and everything in front of him went black.

I feel somewhat resentful, but ultimately I have to face reality.

She could almost hear the six-tailed man slowly raising his arm, like the Grim Reaper dragging his scythe closer and closer, its blade gleaming coldly as it slowly swung towards her.

The mountains and forests were silent, and the air was filled with the stench of blood.

But for Li Sisui, none of this matters. Every second feels like an eternity, which is a true reflection of Li Sisui's current state of mind.

He had already lost all hope, and was just waiting to turn into a pile of minced meat to end his remaining life.

Unfortunately, the Grim Reaper's scythe had been hanging over Li Sisui's head for a long time, but it just wouldn't fall.

With a swift stroke, the knife fell; "Give me a quick death!" Such torture ignited a nameless rage that overcame the fear of death. Li Sisui no longer held back, only demanding a swift end. A person who is determined to die must be utterly disillusioned with reality.

Li Sisui roared at the six-tailed man with all his might, and then began to curse loudly!

I wish I could use every filthy word to describe the demon before me who so wantonly tramples on life and manipulates others at will.

However, no one could understand Li Sisui's curses, but that did not stop him from using this method to fight against his impending powerlessness. Perhaps this was his last madness before his death.

The six-tailed man stared at Li Sisui and scrutinized him closely. For the first time, his originally blood-red, crazed eyes revealed a rational and questioning look. As if out of instinct, he hesitated, and his arm, which was slowly raised towards Li Sisui, stopped and hung in mid-air.

Li Sisui was just grasping at straws in desperation; he couldn't run away, and he couldn't win a fight.

The only action they could take was verbal communication, but since they couldn't understand each other, they had no choice but to curse first, regardless of whether the other person understood them or not, determined to die a quick and painless death.

Li Sisui rolled up his sleeves and launched into a tirade, his face flushed and neck thick with anger. In the old world, he could probably hold his own against a market vendor.

Desperate measures were taken, and unexpectedly, it worked like a blind cat stumbled upon a dead mouse. As the six-tailed man's raised arm froze in mid-air, Li Sisui felt as if he had just escaped death.

Before Li Sisui could be happy for even a second longer, he saw the six-tailed man, who had been somewhat hesitant, suddenly have his eyes shining red, and any doubt that had appeared before was instantly submerged in the endless red light.

More blood!

The six-tailed man roared, pulling Li Sisui, who was still indulging in fantasy, back to reality.

As he continued to raise his arm, Li Sisui felt as if the space around him was being squeezed by an invisible force.
