Chapter 196 Eight-Eyed Spider Toad

As Li Sisui was walking, he suddenly looked up and realized that he seemed to have bumped into something. He instinctively took a step back, but found that he seemed to be stuck to something and could not move at all.

Looking at the several palm-width transparent ribbons stuck to her chest like transparent tape, they were incredibly tough. Even after tearing them with all her might, they showed no signs of loosening.

Li Sisui was like an ant stuck on transparent tape, wandering aimlessly and helplessly. His hands and feet lit up with light bulbs as he waved them around, but apart from adding some comedic effect, he didn't seem to have any practical use.

At this moment, Li Sisui did not feel any danger. However, out of shame at being unable to protect himself, he found it difficult to speak and had no choice but to cry for help.

While waiting for rescue, Li Sisui was filled with frustration. His previous brimming confidence in his abilities had vanished without a trace.

This unfamiliar world always uses the most direct methods to relentlessly humiliate Li Sisui.

Until Li Sisui looked at what was in front of him, a small mountain with eight legs, slowly moving towards him along the transparent ribbon.

Li Sisui finally realized that now was not the time to be shy or concerned about saving face. Every extra moment of hesitation would cost him an arm, and if he hesitated any longer, he would be gone.

Instantly dropping his idol image, he yelled at the top of his lungs:

"Help! There's a monster! Eight legs! Someone come quick!"

Upon hearing Li Sisui's shout, the eight-legged monster slowed its movement, as if waiting for more prey.

Li Sisui was completely flustered and had no time to think. He could only shout with all his might, using all his cultivation to shout.

When Su Qingyu and Li Qiu arrived, the eight-legged monster was already only a few meters away from Li Sisui. Li Sisui finally saw the monster's full appearance and exclaimed in surprise:

"It's missing two legs, this thing has ten legs, oh my god!"

Its body is as thick and round as a two-story building, with eight slender spider legs on its back that emit a dark luster. The legs are covered with dense black hair, like steel needles.

Its round body resembles an inflatable toad, with sturdy hind legs and a large head.

On its head was a dark bulge that constantly spewed out transparent liquid. Four pairs of eight fist-sized dark eyes lined up from the top of its head to its mouth, staring intently at Li Sisui not far behind.

"Eight-eyed Spider Toad! Perfect Form!"

Looking at the monster hanging in mid-air like a small mountain, Su Qingyu couldn't help but gasp. Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke, her usual calm and composed demeanor gone.

Su Qingyu and Li Qiu hadn't gone far when they discovered that countless transparent ribbons were shrouding the area ahead. Only then did they realize that they had unknowingly fallen into a trap woven by spiders and toads.

The two immediately went back to look for Li Sisui, and then they heard Li Sisui calling out.

Li Qiu looked at the transparent spider screen covering his head. Its length and width were clearly beyond the capabilities of a child. It looked like it belonged to an adult.

On the way back, I was secretly relieved. In just a few breaths, the scarred man had been reduced to ashes. Even I had to be careful when dealing with adult spider toads, let alone that good-for-nothing scarred man.

When the two saw the menacing spider-toad in front of Li Sisui, they could no longer remain calm.

Those eight dark, round eyes seemed to radiate the eerie light of death, all eight eyes staring at Su Qingyu and Li Qiu at the same time.

The two involuntarily took a few steps back, drawing their weapons and shrouding themselves in a veil of light, looking as if they were facing a formidable enemy.

The eight-eyed spider toad, in its juvenile stage, only has one or two pairs of eyes open, divided into night eyes and day eyes, with four pairs of eyes used alternately for day and night. Adults will have two or three additional pairs of spider legs.

The fully evolved form unleashes all the potential of the spider toad's body, possessing eight eyes and eight legs, and its cultivation is comparable to that of a master of the Earth Clan's Primal Movement level, making it impossible for two Pulse-level experts to handle.

To contend with it, we would need at least seven or eight clansmen of the same level to join forces and attack it together, only then would we have a chance of winning.

The Primal Movement Stage is the realm that comes after breaking through the Pulse Stage, and it is also the realm that has troubled Su Qingyu for ten years without her being able to break through.

The fully-formed Eight-Eyed Spider Toad before them was comparable to a Primal Movement level being, and due to the beast's powerful physique, its strength was even greater.

Looking at the fully formed spider toad in front of him, Li Qiu broke out in a cold sweat. The damned person hadn't died yet, but he had gotten himself killed first.

Logically speaking, after decades of exterminating demonic beasts, the clan should be finding it difficult to even locate a juvenile form. How could a fully-formed one suddenly appear? The originally foolproof plan has somehow ended up trapping them as well; it seems no one can escape now.

No matter how much Ren Liqiu regretted it, it was no use. The Eight-Eyed Spider Toad stared intently at Su Qingyu and Liqiu, as if looking at a sumptuous banquet, with uncontrollable excitement in its eyes.

Su Qingyu and the other woman stared intently at the eight-eyed spider toad, hoping for a glimmer of hope for survival.

Li Sisui, on the contrary, became an outsider. The eight-eyed spider toad was quite intelligent, hanging Li Sisui to attract more prey.

After Su Qingyu and the other person appeared, they were not in a hurry to eat Li Sisui. Instead, they waited for an opportunity to deal with the two people who appeared later. It seems that they were quite confident in their Spider Screen.

After a brief moment of calm, Su Qingyu suddenly shouted:

"retreat!"

People move first, then their voices follow.

Taking advantage of the situation, Su Qingyu dodged to the side, flicked her wrist with a light whip, and shot it towards Li Sisui.

Li Qiu, who was next to Su Qingyu, reacted a little slowly. Then, she flew backward like a cannonball and crashed into the cliff.

He coughed up blood, fell heavily to the ground, and lost consciousness. His life or death was unknown. The light veil that had covered his entire body shattered the moment it touched him.
