Chapter 214 Nameless Incantation

The stone anvil was actually quite unremarkable, but for some reason it caught Li Sisui's attention. Li Sisui quickly walked towards the stone anvil, while Chen Jing remained in deep meditation with his eyes closed, and the stone tablet remained unchanged.

When Li Sisui was about five meters away from the stone anvil, an invisible ripple suddenly spread out from the stone anvil. Li Sisui felt as if he had stepped into another space. The scenery around him was still the same, but when Li Sisui looked at the stone anvil again, he felt as if something was hidden inside!

At this moment, the stone anvil was no longer an ordinary stone anvil in Li Sisui's eyes. It was as if a peerless ferocious beast was lurking there, waiting for an opportunity to devour someone.

Outside the ruins, the old man sat cross-legged beside the cave entrance, like a stone sculpture, motionless.

Suddenly, the old man opened his eyes wide, his expression filled with shock. He got up and rushed towards the ruins, but before he could reach the entrance, he was pushed back by a violent blue energy. By the time he landed, he was already twenty meters away.

A moment later, the village elders appeared behind the old man. While sensing the violent energy within the ruins, the village elder addressed the old man guarding the ruins:

"Could it be that Chen Jing has already understood the inscription on the stone tablet and begun to receive the inheritance after going in this time?"

The group exchanged glances, their faces grave, and remained silent. The raging energy within the ruins continued to increase, making it impossible for anyone to approach even a step closer.

Li Sisui felt a dangerous aura enveloping him, as if he had fallen into an ice cave. His hair stood on end. He tried his best to control his body and move away from the stone anvil, but the stone anvil seemed to have endless magic, attracting Li Sisui closer and closer.

When Li Si placed his hands on the stone anvil, the previously motionless stone tablet suddenly emitted a bright blue light. The inscriptions on the stone tablet moved rapidly, as if they were about to break through the stone tablet and burst out. Chen Jing, who had been meditating with his eyes closed, opened his eyes wide in disbelief, looking at the stone tablet with the surging blue light in front of him. He could not hide his excitement. However, before Chen Jing could make any further moves, the blue light in front of him suddenly began to expand. In the blink of an eye, it filled the entire interior of the ruins. Inside, Chen Jing felt the violence of this blue energy, but it did not harm him in the slightest.

The inscriptions that were originally moving on the stone tablet began to expand at a speed visible to the naked eye, and eventually broke away from the stone tablet and began to move in the blue energy in the air above the entire ruins.

Chen Jing looked up and glanced at the enormous inscription. His head felt as if it had been struck by a heavy blow. The armor and arm guards formed by his outward emission of photons shattered instantly. Chen Jing coughed up blood, staggered backward, and fell to the ground unconscious.

Li Sisui couldn't see that Chen Jing in front of the stone tablet was already unconscious. At this moment, he was only thinking about how to remove his hands from the stone anvil. Suddenly, he saw the huge inscription above his head, moving along a strange trajectory. He was involuntarily attracted by the inscription, which was originally incomprehensible. Gradually, the inscription formed several common characters of the Guangyuan Continent:

"When yang reaches its extreme, yin arises; when yin reaches its extreme, yang is born. This cycle repeats endlessly, forming the balance of the Dao. The left desires become demons, the right has already become monsters, the central spirit is difficult to achieve, only the heart remains undying. The extreme of heaven and earth, the beginning of all things, only the clarity of the heart, the pinnacle of the Dao."

Li Sisui silently recited the incantation. Just after finishing it once, his originally clear mind suddenly became heavy and dizzy. However, Li Sisui involuntarily recited it again and again. Eventually, he couldn't control himself at all. The incantation was repeated by Li Sisui over and over again. The throbbing pain in his brain gradually intensified. Li Sisui no longer knew how many times he had recited that inexplicable incantation. Gradually, he foamed at the mouth and passed out.

The azure energy within the ruins remained turbulent, and golden inscriptions swirled within the cave. After an unknown amount of time, the golden inscriptions gathered at the cave ceiling, and a faint azure figure could be seen, its face obscured. Only the figure's laughter could be heard:

"This guy is really weak, with no foundation in cultivation, yet he dares to try to comprehend inscriptions. At least he has some comprehension. That kid next to him has come several times. Oh well, oh well."

With a wave of his hand, the azure figure unleashed a torrent of azure energy towards Chen Jing, which then entered his body. Chen Jing's complexion began to regain its rosy hue, and azure light surrounded his body. The azure figure then vanished into the golden inscriptions, which coalesced into a ball and surged towards Li Sisui, entering his brain. A flash of golden light, and it disappeared.

The violent blue energy inside the cave gradually dissipated, restoring its former tranquility, as if nothing had ever happened.

Outside the ruins, the village elders and others waited outside the cave.

Old Liu looked at the gradually dissipating blue energy inside the cave, then turned to the village elder and said:

"Four days have passed, and the cyan energy inside the cave has finally dissipated. I wonder how well Chen Jing's inheritance is progressing. I'll go in and take a look!"

Old Liu lifted his head and walked into the ruins.

"Wait a minute. With so many unexpected events happening now, let's go in together just in case something goes wrong."

The village elder looked around, and the crowd nodded in agreement. Then they all walked towards the ruins. Upon entering, they saw Chen Jing lying unconscious beside the stone tablet. The village elder swiftly landed beside Chen Jing, a flash of light appearing in his hand as he plunged it into Chen Jing's head. Then, the village elder let out a long sigh and said:

"It's nothing serious, just unconsciousness. His mental energy was overexerted and he needs to rest and recover. I don't know what he inherited that caused such a drain on his mental energy."

The old man guarding the ruins stepped forward, glanced at Chen Jing, whose lips were stained with blood, looked around, and said:

"There was another person who entered the ruins with Chen Jing that day, where is this person now?"

Upon hearing this, Old Zhang chimed in:

"I'll have that kid go to the back mountain and get a few stone anvils. I suppose he should go with Chen Jing?"

As he spoke, Old Zhang began to search around the stone tablet, finally finding Li Sisui behind it. Li Sisui was found clutching a square stone anvil, foaming at the mouth, unconscious.
