Chapter 202 The Final Trial

The successful passage of one of the clansmen caught Li Sisui's attention.

This person was thinner and smaller than other Tu people, with long upper limbs. He could be seen conjuring two huge pot-shaped shields in his hands, with the bottoms of the pots facing outwards. He had a pot in each hand, making him look quite comical.

The onlookers couldn't help but burst into laughter, but the man remained calm, seemingly unconcerned about the attitude of those around him.

Then, holding two pots, he charged straight toward the examiner. The surrounding laughter stopped abruptly as everyone watched this sudden scene, wondering what this clansman was up to.

Upon seeing the tangible cauldron of light that this person conjured in his hands, the examiners knew that this person's cultivation was at least at the Pure Realm of the Pulse Stage, and possibly even higher.

He immediately ordered another examiner to prepare as well, so that they could jointly test this member of the tribe.

The two examiners each unleashed a certain number of hidden weapons, which hovered nearby. Upon seeing the tribesman charging towards them, they both waved their hands in perfect unison, and the hidden weapons flew towards the tribesman like a swarm of locusts.

At this moment, a strange scene unfolded: after entering the range of the hidden weapon, the tribesman did not slow down his charge, but instead rolled onto the ground.

He covered himself completely with two empty pots in his hands, and the two pots, when put together, rolled towards the two examiners like a naturally formed ball of light, without slowing down at all.

Not only were the onlookers stunned, but Li Sisui was also taken aback, amazed that someone could come up with such a wonderful idea, and couldn't help but feel admiration.

The collision between the light sphere and the hidden weapons was not as spectacular as expected; most of the hidden weapons were bounced away by the light sphere or deflected off course.

Only a small portion of the light sphere was directly hit, making a clanging sound, but it did not stop the light sphere's momentum.

In the blink of an eye, the ball of light burst out of the group of hidden weapons and arrived at the examiner's feet. At this moment, the group rolled over, holding the pot of light above their heads with one hand and slapping it down at the examiner's feet with the other.

This tribesman's actions not only won cheers from the onlookers but also clearly surprised the two examiners.

It wasn't until the surrounding clamor that the two examiners came to their senses. One of them smiled and gestured to the clansman behind him who was responsible for recording the information, indicating that this person had passed the preliminary test and could participate in the second test.

Amid cheers and whistles from his fellow tribesmen, the man entered the venue for the second round of testing.

It was noon, and the sun was blazing. Today was the third day of the preliminary test, and the number of clansmen participating in the test had obviously become sparse, unlike the continuous number of participants in the first day or two.

The examiners waited for a long time, but no more clansmen came to participate in the trial. The three of them looked at each other and prepared to get up and announce the end of this year's trial.

At this moment, Li Sisui leisurely walked through the crowd and strolled into the trial grounds. Facing the examiner, he took off the hempen robe on his head, revealing a slightly handsome face.

Having undergone the body-strengthening and marrow-cleansing process of breaking through the pulse stage, some changes have occurred in the tendons, veins, and bones, thus affecting appearance.

Although there is not much difference from before, Li Sisui's height and body shape are slightly different, and the dark spots on his face have faded significantly. If you are not close enough, it is difficult to see the traces of gray spots on his face.

After Li Sisui revealed his appearance, the examiners were all stunned. They felt a sense of déjà vu, but couldn't quite place him. However, judging from Li Sisui's demeanor, he was undoubtedly here to participate in the trial.

Until one of the examiners coughed meaningfully a few times, the three examiners seemed to have reached some kind of consensus. Facing Li Sisui lined up, the three examiners actually tested Li Sisui at the same time.

As the preliminary test drew to a close, the onlookers began to leave one after another. It wasn't until they saw the three examiners lined up in a row that they realized something big was about to happen.

They had been watching for several days, but they had never seen any tribesman who could get three examiners to compete at the same time.

Li Sisui looked at the three examiners lined up in a row and thought to himself:

"As expected, this was meticulously prepared for me!"

One of the examiners seemed to recognize Li Sisui and said casually:

"I thought you weren't going to participate in the trial. I've been waiting for you for two years. If you don't come today, there will be no chance in the future. It seems you're still not giving up!"

Upon closer inspection, Li Sisui realized that the examiner was actually the same examiner who had faced him in the second trial.

I never expected that they would go to such lengths to stop me, even having a second-round interviewer act as a first-round interviewer.

Li Sisui didn't answer, but just quietly observed, watching as more and more clansmen gathered around, soon forming layers upon layers, creating quite a lively scene.

Li Sisui was no longer the naive young man he once was. Seeing that the assembled clansmen were almost all gathered, he spoke loudly:

"Thank you for your concern, Your Excellency. I was delayed by some matters and almost missed the trial, but I managed to make it in time. May I ask if you could explain the trial requirements again?"

The examiner who recognized Li Sisui did not immediately respond after hearing Li Sisui's remarks. He appeared to be deep in thought before slowly speaking:

"I dare not accept such a title. Stick some white ash on your hands and use your cultivation level to leave a mark on the examiner anywhere on their body. That will be considered passing. Do you understand?"

Li Sisui clasped his hands and stepped back, saying:

"Let's begin!"

After saying that, he rushed straight towards the three examiners. The three examiners did not expect Li Si to make a move so suddenly, and instead were a little flustered.

However, given their cultivation levels, several hidden weapons instantly materialized above each person's head, forming a small but bright cloud that enveloped Li Sisui.

Li Sisui felt somewhat uneasy as he watched the dense array of hidden weapons flying towards him. After all, it was his first time experiencing such a situation, and although it was meant to be a friendly spar, he still needed to be prepared for any eventuality.
