Li Sisui had already pushed all his cultivation to its limit, and the light chains were tightly gripping Xisheng, no longer caring whether Xisheng was alive or dead.
Within a few breaths, he could hear the whooshing sound behind him. Without even thinking, he knew that the huge triangular snake head had caught up with Li Sisui, and he could even smell the stench coming from the snake's mouth.
Just as he was about to be swallowed whole by the snake's head behind him, the branch he was using for support broke under the weight, causing him and Xisheng to fall down together.
Although the two were somewhat disheveled, they managed to evade the Xuan Turtle's attack by sheer luck.
The two fell and were completely disoriented, and Xisheng dropped the pill he was tightly clutching.
Xi Sheng had already fainted from all the torment, but Li Si Sui, being a cultivator with a strong physique, remained conscious despite feeling dizzy.
He glanced at the huge black shadow hovering overhead, his mind racing, searching for an opportunity to escape.
This enormous black tortoise seems to be more than just a fully grown one; you could lose your life if you were even touched by it.
The once calm and silent banks of the Weak Water River were now churning with waves stirred up by the Xuan Turtle, like boiling water.
The enormous body of the Xuan Turtle rose from the Weak Water, and only then was its entire body fully exposed to Li Sisui's eyes.
The enormous triangular snake head was actually the tail of a black tortoise, while the real head, like a tortoise, was hidden inside its thick shell.
They also looked at Li Sisui lying on the ground with cold eyes, as well as Ren Dan not far away.
A sharp sound rang out, and the huge triangular snake head seemed to sense it, spinning once in the air before turning around and swooping down towards Li Sisui!
With such a massive size and overwhelming momentum, it crashed into Li Sisui like a locomotive!
If this hits, even a god couldn't save Li Sisui!
Li Sisui fell from the tree, still dizzy, feeling only a strong gust of wind on his face, but unable to move his body.
In the blink of an eye, a white lightning bolt suddenly appeared, but instead of heading towards Li Sisui, it struck the human pill that had fallen to the ground not far away.
The triangular snake head, which had been so menacing, suddenly froze when it sensed the white lightning not far in front of it. As if it had seen something extremely vicious, it quickly shrank back!
The enormous body of the Xuan Turtle began to spin and sink, disappearing into the Weak Water in the blink of an eye.
Li Sisui stared at the Xuan Turtle disappearing at the speed of light, completely bewildered, wondering what the Xuan Turtle was up to.
Looking at the white figure not far away, the smile of relief after surviving the ordeal hadn't even fully appeared before it froze on his face again; he had been happy too soon!
That white lightning bolt was none other than the small white beast that Li Sisui had been desperately trying to avoid!
I don't know what special abilities this little beast has, but it has been able to follow Li Sisui here.
We just got rid of one plague god, and now we're welcoming a bodhisattva. When will this ever end?
The white beast glanced at the fleeing Xuan Turtle and then ignored it, focusing its attention on the human pill not far away.
While Li Sisui was stunned, the small white beast nimbly pounced on the human pill, and in the blink of an eye, Li Sisui heard the sound of the human pill shattering.
Looking up, they saw that the little white beast had already swallowed the human pill and was chewing it with relish, its face full of enjoyment.
Li Sisui was stunned. Upon closer observation, he felt that the white beast was quite intelligent, especially its facial expressions, which seemed no different from those of humans.
Xisheng remained lying on the ground, unconscious.
Li Sisui stared at the small white beast in front of him, which was enjoying itself with its eyes closed, and dared not make any move. He knew how powerful the beast was and was afraid of accidentally provoking it again.
The little white beast opened its eyes, still wanting more. Its big, round, black eyes looked at the upright Li Sisui, and its pink tongue unconsciously stuck out of its mouth.
After consuming the human pill, the white beast shimmered with a dazzling white light, which returned to normal after a few flashes.
Li Sisui held his breath and focused intently on the white beast's every move, only to find that the beast was also watching Li Sisui with great interest.
When their eyes met, Li Sisui actually sensed a trace of human emotion in the little beast's eyes.
Can this little thing understand human speech?
This was an intense thought that Li Sisui couldn't suppress.
The small white beast sauntered towards Li Sisui, its expression intriguing, as if to say, "Let's see what tricks you have up your sleeve this time."
"What other tricks do I have? I'm desperate too!"
Having exhausted all his tricks, Li Sisui could only resort to the same old methods, and his heart was bleeding.
The light chains were unleashed, and one chain link after another was flung out in all directions, hoping to lure the small beasts away as before.
However, the little beast seemed to know Li Sisui's thoughts perfectly. White lightning flashed continuously as it accurately swallowed each halo into its mouth.
Then he quickly returned to his initial position and continued to walk towards Li Sisui at a leisurely pace, his eyes fixed on Li Sisui at all times.
A sense of despair enveloped Li Sisui; he feared he would have no good luck this time.
As the small white beast approached step by step, Li Sisui could only resign himself to his fate and close his eyes, awaiting death.
It wasn't that I hadn't thought about escaping, but this little beast was swallowing even the photon-condensed chains like gourmet food, so how could my weak body possibly contend with the beast's sharp teeth?
As the footsteps of the small beast drew closer, Li Sisui's body began to tremble uncontrollably, instinctively resisting the approach of death.
