Qiu Shui sighed. Ultimately, it was Xu Yu who needed to work out with the team members, so she should make the decision herself.
"Then I'm leaving."
She packed her things.
"goodbye."
-
"Everyone, get in the car quickly! The young master is driving for us outside!" The guild leader gathered the members together, and everyone got into the car.
Space on the bus is limited, and each bus is hard-won. To ensure driving safety, the guild leader will arrange for a senior player to bring two newbies, or two junior players to bring one newbie.
"Where did these Ghost King cars come from? Why can't I drive one?" a newbie asked, puzzled, as he joined the queue.
"Only Onmyoji who live near the anime convention can drive. Today, Playboy is here at the convention to drive for the whole guild. You should all cherish this opportunity," Qiushui explained to him.
"What are the rewards for defeating the Demon King? Do you get any jade?" The speaker was an Onmyoji who had just been unsealed.
"You need jade? This gives you a reward of ten to twenty jades at a time."
"My account was banned shortly after the server opened, and then I was penalized 500 Jade. Now I'm down to a negative 400 Jade!"
The Onmyoji said sullenly.
"Yeah……"
Qiu Shui examined his portrait frame; it was indeed an old-fashioned frame.
"Qiushui, it's your turn!"
Sister Qiao called her from behind. Qiu Shui glanced at her fellow car enthusiasts, then got into the car with her shikigami. Playboy got out from the other side of the Ghost King's car.
"I'm exhausted!" he muttered.
Once inside the car, another guild member, also around level 40, was driving. Qiu Shui, sitting in the back, idly looked around the car when she suddenly noticed a four-star Jiao Tu inside.
"Whose Jiao Tu is this?" she asked.
"Mine," the newbie said, raising his hand.
"Jiaotu? Who's going to bring Jiaotu when fighting the Demon King?!"
The guild member driving suddenly turned around and wasn't happy to see the Jiao Tu.
"Why can't I bring Jiao Tu?" the newbie asked, puzzled.
"Don't connect your Jiao Tu."
Qiu Shui surveyed the combat forces in the car. She brought Aoandon and Gui Gui, her guildmate herself brought Tamamo-no-Mae, and the newbie brought a Juzu and a Kaguya-hime.
They're sure to win this time, so bringing Jiao Tu isn't a problem.
Upon hearing her words, the newbie hesitated for a moment, then lowered his head to comfort the panicked four-star Jiao Tu.
Upon arriving at the location of the Demon King, they disembarked and began their battle. They lined up their battle lines, and Jiao Tu, being the fastest, was the first to connect with a link.
"You...you're disobedient?"
The guild member said dejectedly, and Jiao Tu turned around to look at him in alarm, then turned her gaze to the master outside.
Only the guild members are participating now, while Qiushui and the newbie are watching them from outside.
"I'm afraid of crashing, so..."
The newbie explained that Qiushui gestured for the other guild members to begin, and Jiao Tu's connection was fine; the battle was underway...
"Qiushui, why doesn't 'Bamboo Branch Melody' like my Jiao Tu?" After several rounds of battle, the newbie couldn't help but ask.
"It's a waste of time and resources. Ghost King is not easy to lose, so support characters rarely get a chance to play."
Qiu Shui explained simply.
"So I should bring a main player?"
"right."
The newbie looked behind her.
"There's a...Ichimokuren Frog in your audience?" he asked in surprise.
The Ichimokuren sat obediently on the ground, its flowing bangs fluttering in the breeze.
"I have one too. It came to me unexpectedly this morning. I wish it could turn into Ichimokuren." The newbie looked at it expectantly.
"How many frogs do you have?" Qiu Shui asked. "My frogs seem to want to form a football team in the dormitory, but there aren't enough people."
The newbie looked horrified.
"..."
"We're done fighting. Let's check if your shikigami are alright." Guild member Zhuzhiqu walked back with the spoils of war.
"Should we go to the dojo next?"
Autumn Water asked.
"Yes, go back and prepare, then head straight to the monastery we're going to fight."
Zhu Zhiqu wiped the sweat from his brow, and they got back into the car, heading towards their target for today's attack: the Yin-Yang Bureau.
"Why did you stop playing?" the newbie asked.
“Each person can only make three calls, and it’s time to rent a car,” Zhu Zhiqu said.
We drove all the way to the shrine where we were attacking today, and got off there. Inside the shrine, Sister Qiao was having a fight with an Onmyoji from the other side, and the guild leader was advising her to stop fighting.
Are we too late?
Qiu Shui walked over to them.
"The opposing Onmyoji has high resistance and high damage; you're no match for them. Do you really want to keep fighting until the world turns upside down?"
The chairman was still trying to persuade Sister Qiao.
"That doesn't make sense!" Sister Qiao ignored him.
"Can't we take down this dojo?" Qiu Shui thought, "It looks like we'll never finish this one."
"Sushi is still going strong."
The president spoke, opening and closing his fan.
"By the way, Qiushui, are you busy in May?" he suddenly asked.
"I don't know, you tell me."
"There's an offline competition in Qihe City in May to test a new game, I think it's called something like Seventh Impression... I forgot the exact name, but I'm planning to organize a meetup for my guild members around that time. Do you have time?"
"A dormmates' meetup?"
Qiu Shui's mind was filled with countless thoughts.
Why did you suddenly think of this?
"The system sent me a message a few days ago, saying that it will invite 5,000 players to participate in this offline event in May, and asked if I wanted to go."
"Are the other dormitories going too?"
"I asked a few, and most of the guilds seem to be going. What do you think?" the guild leader asked.
"I have no idea."
Autumn Water is in trouble.
What did they say?
“There are 117 people in our dormitory, and 18 people have said they want to go. This event is offline and will last for two days, and there are issues with food and accommodation.”
The president immediately felt a headache coming on.
"I'll definitely go when I have time. Qihe City, right? Count me in." Qiu Shui readily agreed.
"Alright, prepare some travel expenses and tolls for the next few months, don't worry about the rest for now," the chairman said.
"good."
Taking the shikigami aside, the playboy was "harassing" the black water beauty.
"Young master, why aren't you challenging the dojo? Sister Qiao is so angry she's about to lose her hair."
Qiu Shui joked.
"Sister Qiao, you've lost your hair? You can contact me for a hair transplant." The playboy whistled and said cheerfully.
"Don't interrupt!"
Sister Qiao let out a wail.
"Even though I sealed Hiyoribou's passive ability, Tamamo-no-Mae still revived and kept attacking me, giving me a headache!"
Hahaha~
The playboy laughed rather unkindly.
"Let's use Mushishi to dispel it. I got Mushishi to five stars today, do you want me to lend him to you?"
"don't want!"
"Why can't we finish today?" Qiu Shui asked the Sushi Master who had returned defeated.
"The guild leader chose a group with a lot of people. All the beginners were level 60, and there were also fourteen snake-frame masters. It was really exhausting to fight them."
The shikigami of sushi collapsed to the ground as soon as they appeared. Shusui quickly had Guigui pull them up and take them to Hanabusa-maki.
"The snake frame is hard to get..." Playboy scoffed. "You're all already injured, so I won't send my shikigami to their deaths."
