Several tiny kittens and puppies, no bigger than the palm of a hand, were placed in a box. The judge carried them down the mountain with Qiu Shui and Qing Xingdeng.
Upon arriving in Heian-kyo, they released the little creatures from the cardboard box, hung up the adoption center sign, and gave them some instructions.
"These are all free, but they can't be delivered to the restaurant."
"Understood," the judge replied.
Sitting behind the cardboard box, the puppy inside poked its head out and wagged its tail.
Judge: "Sister Jue, do you think anyone would want these little things?"
Jue yawned lazily, "Maybe not, maybe yes, it's hard to say."
After all, there aren't many Onmyoji players without pets these days. Stray dogs and cats are everywhere on the streets, and nobody seems to want them.
The judge looked at the little creatures inside and fed them a few vegetable leaves.
On the street, an Onmyoji arrived with a little white wolf. The little white wolf must have just been drawn, as it was only half the Onmyoji's height.
Her eyes casually glanced around when she suddenly saw a fluffy white thing peeking out of a cardboard box; it looked quite cute.
"Father, I want to go over there and take a look."
The white wolf tugged at the Onmyoji's sleeve.
The Onmyoji's gaze fell on where she was pointing; it turned out she was referring to adopting a pet.
"Go take a look, pick one you like and take it home."
"Wow!"
The white wolf ran to the box, and little animals poked their heads out.
She looked at them one by one, and suddenly her gaze fell on a snow-white hand.
"Wow!"
What an adorable young man!
"Father, I want this!"
She took the Snow Child's hand.
The Onmyoji's face darkened, and he walked over and helped the little white wolf up.
"no!"
"But I want it~"
