"It will be ready soon."
The fox spirit agreed.
Are you a fox?
Menreiki looked up at him and asked, "I saw his fox tail."
The new little sister finally spoke! The fox demon tried to grab her little hand, but the masked figures around her were quite powerful, and he couldn't get close to the little one at all.
“Of course,” he said with a smile.
Menreiki pointed behind him and asked, "Then who is that person behind you?"
ha?
The fox spirit turned around and saw Lady Tamamo-no-Mae sitting elegantly under a tree, drinking tea, with her nine tails swaying slowly behind her.
"That's Lady Tamamo-no-Mae!"
The fox spirit said devoutly.
Is she very capable?
Menreiki tilted her head and asked.
"certainly."
The fox spirit nodded.
Unbeknownst to him, the Great Tengu was standing behind him, listening to their conversation. Instead of urging him on, his face showed inquiry and doubt.
"Fox spirit, is that you?"
The fox spirit heard his voice.
He turned around and said with a smile, "Great Tengu, I'll be right there."
"No...you are not him..."
"It's a deep, dark voice," said the Great Tengu.
Where did he go?
The fox demon turned his head away from his gaze, lowered his head, and dared not make a sound. He was no match for that senior, and his shy personality made it impossible for him to answer the Great Tengu senior with confidence.
...
After a round of questioning, the fox demon told Lord Tengu everything without reservation. After speaking, he walked into a corner.
A tengu with one wing sat on the roof ridge, glanced at him, and sighed softly.
"It turns out that after giving all his demonic power to the fox demon, he had already left without a trace."
The Great Tengu felt utterly lost.
Where did that guy go? How can he survive without demonic power?
Menreiki glanced at the dejected fox spirit in the shadows, then ran over and sat down beside him.
What brings you here?
The fox spirit looked at her in surprise.
"I'll stay with you."
The spirit placed her small hand on the fox demon's fluffy tail and made a face.
"I'm the happy rainbow mask girl, la la la la~"
"Fox spirit, Tengu, go fight the giant snake and the Kirin!" The hair-eating demon came over and urged them.
He lifted the fox spirit up, and the little spirit dangled from his tail.
"Daitengu?"
The hair-eating demon glanced at the Great Tengu a few times, his face showing impatience. The people outside were already getting impatient!
Ibaraki-dōji raised his hand and volunteered, saying, "I'll go! Lord Ōtengu doesn't want to go today, so you can take me with you!"
The hair-eating demon glanced at him and said, "Come with me."
Ibaraki-dōji quickly followed him.
As the group walked out of the dormitory, Menreiki was still tucked into the fox demon's tail, hidden in a fluffy ball of white fur, so much so that even the hair-eating demon didn't notice her.
"Come out quickly!"
After the fox spirit broke free from the hair-eating demon's grasp, it whispered to its tail. The little spirit spirit hid inside, several masks following closely behind the white-haired demon.
"No~ No~"
Menreiki's haughty voice came from his tail.
"You can't beat the giant snake. What will you do if you die?" the fox demon said anxiously.
Menreiki poked her head out from her tail, pouting, "Who says I can't beat them? If I smash five of my masks down, that 'Orochi' you're talking about will be dead for good!"
She held the five masks folded together in her hand, which had no intimidating effect whatsoever.
The fox spirit sighed, glanced nervously at the hair-eating demon, grabbed the Menreiki, and whispered to her, "The Yamata no Orochi is very powerful. You should go back to your quarters. Do you know the way back?"
Menreiki glanced at him unhappily, then grabbed two more masks from the air and stacked them together with the previous five.
"If five aren't enough, then seven will do! I'm not afraid at all!"
Fox spirit: "..."
A classic case of a newborn calf not being afraid of a tiger!
"Let's go!!"
She clenched her little fist.
The hair-eating demon glanced back at them indifferently, a warning in the old Taoist's eyes.
The fox demon chuckled twice and quickly hugged Menreiki to keep her from talking nonsense.
Upon arriving at the location of the Yamata no Orochi, the Hair-Eating Demon went straight to the level 10 Orochi and set up a battle formation in front of it.
The Yamata no Orochi glanced at these overconfident challengers and disdainfully blew a puff of poison gas at them.
"call--!!"
"ah!"
The little spirit has been attacked.
The fox spirit turned and glanced at her.
"you……"
"I'm fine, really!"
Menreiki's face was purple, but she pretended to be perfectly fine, which made the fox demon feel very sorry for her.
"Don't try to tough it out."
He picked up the little face and said.
At the same time, he waved his fan, and a purple shield appeared, enveloping them in this safe place.
"I didn't! That giant snake dared to spit at us! Rainbow mask warning!"
Menreiki still didn't realize the seriousness of the situation.
The giant snake glanced at her, then spat poisonous gas at the fox demon again, and the fox demon was affected.
HP-2999!
He protected the spirit in his arms, and it only lost a few drops of blood.
Seeing the arrogance of the Yamata no Orochi, she waved her hand, and all the masks rose up and crashed down on the Yamata no Orochi in mid-air!
"A mask descends from the sky; the wicked serpent will be severely punished!"
She spoke with conviction.
"call--"
With a gentle whistle, the giant snake sent several masks falling from the sky, landing in front of the fox demon.
The fox spirit silently picked up the seven masks and gave Ichimokuren an "OK" sign.
"Let's begin."
The hair-eating demon blew out a puff of smoke.
Lord Tamamo-no-Mae stood in the center of the group. The Hair-Eating Demon smiled at him and gestured for Ichimokuren to cast a protective shield on everyone.
