Chapter 203 Departure, Mount Fuji (Part 3)

"Hurry, hurry, as you wish!"

They were getting closer and closer. Qiu Shui shot out a golden talisman from her hand. Just then, a stone fell from the sky. Qiu Shui couldn't dodge it and her legs were pinned down by the stone.

As she was pinned to the ground, she realized the stones on her legs were getting heavier and heavier.

Using his spiritual vision to examine the stone, he saw that many strange eyes had grown out of the stone from all sides.

"It's a monster!"

Qiu Shui realized what was happening.

"Word of power, shatter!"

After she gave a sharp shout, the boulder exploded from the center. Qiu Shui tried to move her legs, and a distant roar came from not far away.

The yin energy here is so heavy that it has caused a hundred ghosts to roam at night! Under the dim moonlight, a group of monsters swarmed towards this place!

Qiu Shui gritted her teeth and stood up, but before she could even get up, all sorts of monsters had already swarmed over.

"Word of Power, protect!"

She promptly erected a barrier, a pure white barrier rising to separate the monsters. Just a shoulder's width away, the monsters bared their teeth and roared at her, sticking out their long tongues as if trying to pierce the barrier.

Qiu Shui slowly stood up. After the fright she had just experienced, she felt weak and powerless all over.

A crescent moon rose overhead, and endless monsters rushed toward them, some of them unrecognizable undead, adding to the terror of the place.

Qiu Shui gazed into the distance, took out the scroll from her waist to examine the Hundred Demon Contract with the shikigami, and sighed softly as she looked at the portraits on it.

It's all her fault, why did she have to come in?

Where is her shikigami now? Have they encountered any more powerful yokai, and will they be able to find her in time?

Qiu Shui thought worriedly.

Just as she was worrying about her situation, several rotting corpses suddenly emerged from beneath the barrier, catching her completely off guard.

The limbs of these rotting corpses were dislocated, but their snake-like tongues would still slowly extend towards her from time to time.

"!"

Qiu Shui took a few steps back.

The first thing she did was to open the control panel and check if she was still connected to the outside world.

The second thing she did was open the system and set her location to the Yin-Yang Lodge on the back of Fuxi Mountain, just in case.

For some reason, as she watched the approaching corpse, she thought of the person killed by the Moon Chaser, and the back of her clothes gradually became soaked with sweat.

Just as she was in a state of confusion, a huge hand suddenly grabbed her from behind.

...

...

Bound in shackles in mid-air, Qiu Shuiyi looked uneasily at the terrifying figure moving back and forth below.

"What kind of monster is this?"

Looking at these strange faces, she had no idea what to do. During the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, she was knocked unconscious by a stone hammer that fell from the sky, and when she awoke, she found herself here.

This is a dark cave, guarded by monsters all around.

Based on her experience, this should be the cave of a demon king, and those monsters are his followers.

After eavesdropping for a while, she learned that the monster that captured her was a demon king, which she could easily identify.

She had just heard a demon call a passing human woman "Madam," and wondered if this "Madam" had been abducted by the Demon King and if she was in any danger.

Observing her surroundings from the air, Qiu Shui analyzed her environment. Just as she was considering a way to escape, a sudden commotion erupted at the cave entrance; the Ghost King who had captured her had returned.

From a distance, Qiu Shui noticed that the monster was very robust, with a strong and muscular physique, broad shoulders and a thick waist.

In the corner of the cave sat a large black vat filled with blood. The Ghost King's face, whether naturally red or stained with blood, looked terrifying.

It had a few tufts of messy hair on its bald head, and fifteen or sixteen eyes on the front and back of its head. It wore a white, wrinkled coat and had a wild animal skin tied around its waist.

When he returned, Qiu Shui saw him carrying a man dressed in coarse cloth towards the cave with one hand.

The boy in the coarse cloth clothes was an ordinary villager, not very old, about fifteen or sixteen years old. He was thrown on the ground and was crying.

After the Ghost King abandoned the boy, he looked up at her, and after a few seconds of eye contact, a bloodthirsty glint appeared in his eyes.

A woman addressed as "Madam" stood gracefully to one side, her eyes like two black cat eyes, gleaming with a beautiful light.

"Madam, shall we eat this boy or the one on top tonight?"

Qiu Shui heard the monster speaking.

The voice didn't sound like a voice actor's; it was very rough, not much better than the sound of gravel rubbing against tiles.

Just as Qiu Shui was guessing the identity of the monster below, she suddenly saw the Ghost King on the ground glance at her. Just one glance sent chills down her spine!

"That one tastes better."

The lady showed no fear whatsoever, gracefully adjusting her beautiful kimono and the silk flowers adorning her hair, and pointed at Qiu Shui, saying:

"Let's eat the one on top. I think it has delicate skin and tender flesh, so it must taste better than this guy on the bottom."

"Madam" said with a smile.

Hearing her words, Qiu Shui felt a chill in her heart. The Ghost King, who was standing to the side, thought her words made sense and nodded.

He gestured to the monsters behind him to hang the boy on the ground above their heads and lower Qiu Shui down.

Just as the monster was acting, the Demon King strode to the water vat and reached out to pull a corpse out of it.

He placed his hand on the corpse's pale skin and pulled hard, tearing off the entire body's skin!

"vomit!"

Qiu Shui was startled by the bloody action so close at hand, and her stomach churned. Then she felt the shackles above her head descend, and with a whoosh, she was pulled off the shackles by a monster!

She landed on the ground, a sharp pain shooting through her wrist and hand bones. The "lady" beside her quickly came over, tied her up with a rope, and pushed her into a blazing fire.

Qiu Shui glanced at her, staring straight at her. The woman glared at her fiercely, and Qiu Shui lowered her head.

She wasn't mistaken; the person's eyes held a hint of excitement, and she was no longer human.

Placed on the fire, the flames quickly climbed up her legs along her clothes. Qiu Shui endured the pain, gathering spiritual power in her mouth, and uttered a spell a few seconds later.

"Word of power, annihilate!"

A mysterious voice fell from her lips, and the blazing fire went out. Qiu Shui freed herself from the ropes and sat in the ashes, the skin on her arms peeling off layer by layer from the scorching flames.

This pain was almost beyond her limit of endurance, like a piercing, bone-scraping pain!

She was sweating profusely as she struggled to her feet from the ashes and unburnt wood, only to be pushed down again by a pair of hands.

Looking up, she saw the "Madam" staring straight at her, a flash of disgust in her eyes, as if she had seen something dirty.

The Ghost King, who had just finished eating human flesh, saw the flames extinguished by the Word of Power and rushed over with a roar. He looked Qiu Shui up and down, his eyes revealing a murderous glint.

"You're an Onmyoji?!"
