It's perfectly reasonable for an NPC to have such an ordinary and unremarkable appearance.
"I apologize. I am an Onmyoji from Kyoto. My shikigami were rude to you just now, and I apologize on their behalf."
The man laughed heartily:

Qiu Shui nodded.
“Go that way, there’s a quiet road there that’s perfect for you.”
The man pointed to a path and said.
"Thanks."
As Qiu Shui spoke, she led the shikigami toward the path he had indicated.
The man stood behind them watching until they were out of sight, then let out a long sigh.
"So this is what she's like in real life, I never expected..."
As he spoke, he walked alone toward Heian-kyo, holding something in his hand that no one else could see, except for the electronic butler who was silently monitoring the area.
No one knew that this item in his hand would soon appear in Heian-kyo and bring a storm there like an atomic bomb explosion.
Although that's a story for another time, that day is not far off.
Walking along the forest path, Qiushui admired the beautiful scenery while watching the shikigami sweep through the woods.
"These mushrooms are delicious; we can make soup with them later." Ibaraki-dōji picked a few small mushrooms and put them in his basket.
"The strawberries are ripe!"
Firefly grass plucks small, ruby-shaped strawberries from the branches.
"Sister Yuki-onna, is this enough?"
Ichimokuren gathered firewood, bundled it together, and placed it on the back of the Baku.
"How come there are so many..."
The dream-eating tapir sniffed and took heavy steps like a bixi (a mythical tortoise-like creature).
The snow woman looked at the pile of firewood, nodded to him, and said, "Thank you for your hard work."
"Sister, you flatter me. This task is very easy," Ichimokuren said with a smile.
Behind him, the sorcerer was climbing the tree; his task was to step on the honey in the beehive.
Futakuchi-onna suddenly exclaimed in surprise. She looked down and picked up a fluffy little rabbit with the arm above her head.
There are rabbits here!
She said happily.
"We'll roast rabbit meat later."
Xiao Mianlingqi took over the conversation.
She felt that the two girls had a special connection with the white rabbit; this was the eighth white rabbit they had encountered today.
"Speaking of which, didn't we already prepare the food?" Yaksha asked sullenly, thinking of those sweet pastries.
"There are also green tea flavored hot dogs." Da Tengu put down his backpack, opened it, and glanced inside.
"Is that stuff tasty?"
Yaksha walked up to him and saw Ōtengu take out some green things from his backpack, which looked like a stick.
"I don't know, so I want to try it."
The Great Tengu took one out of his backpack and handed it to him. The Yaksha took it with disgust and took a bite.
"How about it?"
"Great Tengu asked."
Yaksha swallowed the sausage in his mouth, then silently placed the sausage in the hungry ghost's hand.
"You'll like it."
Yaksha said with difficulty.
The Great Tengu seemed to be deep in thought.
"Forget about those things, let's get to Mount Fuji soon and see if any shikigami have fallen behind, check them all," said the Hair-Eating Demon.
Are we arriving?
Qiu Shui was taken aback.
Looking down at their watches, they realized they had only been walking for an hour.
“We took a detour before, but now we’re on the right path.” The Snow Woman frowned for a moment, then suddenly understood.

Qiu Shui asked curiously.

The Snow Woman tapped her forehead. In that instant, a flood of fragmented memories rushed into her mind, making her head swell.

Anyway, we've arrived.
The Great Tengu with Broken Feathers breathed a sigh of relief.
They arrived safely.
"Then let's get ready to go up the mountain."

As everyone climbed to the top of the mountain, the rolling hills and the castle towers of Heian-kyo came into view. From this angle, Heian-kyo appeared to be a bustling metropolis.
Let's have a picnic!
"I speak with a hopeful expression," Mian Lingqi said.
Phoenix Fire lit the bonfire for everyone, and Firefly Grass set up the grill to barbecue the fresh ingredients gathered from the forest.
Sitting on the mountaintop, Qiu Shui happily picnicked and played games with everyone.
Ibaraki-dōji and Shuten-dōji drank and played rock-paper-scissors, while the Peach Blossom Fairy and Cherry Blossom Fairy released their magic to make the trees bloom, competing to see whose flowers were more vibrant.
Menreiki, carried on the back of the fox demon, galloped wildly across the mountains and fields, shouting, "Giddy up! Giddy up!"
Jue sat on a tree, gently closing his eyes to rest, while the hair-eating demon transformed into a wisp of smoke, roaming freely in the mountains...
"Father, come find me quickly!"
Three mischievous voices rang out at the same time.
"Wait, slow down!"
Autumn Water simply couldn't catch up with the three Kamaitachi brothers; they were just too fast.
The weasel-like thief winked mischievously at her and disappeared into the grass in the blink of an eye. Autumn Water slowly ran towards that spot.

Everyone had a great time. Qiu Shui was able to relax and have some fun, so she forgot to call Tian Ma Xing Ke and Qian Shan Mu Xue.
