Chapter 49 I'm a Professional Butler

"Ah, no, I'm too tired... I'll sleep a little longer..."

She exited the game, took off the bracelet, and snuggled into the covers, drifting off to sleep.

-

"It's 9:10 a.m. There's an extracurricular class starting in 25 minutes on the seventh floor of the Mechanical Engineering Building. Please get up as soon as possible, Miss."

An electronic voice sounded, and the electronic assistant automatically reminded the user after seeing the course information. The little bundle curled up in bed stirred slightly before falling silent again.

Half a minute later

"eon!!!!!!!!!"

"Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!"

"Ooh ooh ooh! Ooh ooh ooh!"

Various alarm clocks rang, piercing the eardrums of the person sleeping in bed. The blanket was pulled back, revealing a disheveled face. She said helplessly...

"Butler, I think I have a cold, I feel really bad. Let me sleep a little longer."

"Beep beep".

A beam of infrared light pierced through the blanket, and the electronic butler remained silent for a few seconds.

"Your perception is wrong. Your body temperature, blood circulation, endocrine system, and the condition of your body surface and internal organs are all normal."

"I feel terrible..."

Qiu Shui's voice was low and nasal. After taking a sip of water, she lay back down on the bed to rest, looking exhausted.

"A delicious salmon is waiting for you. In half a minute, the meat will miss its best texture. Please wait to make your choice."

The air was silent for a moment, her long eyelashes trembled, and her eyes snapped open. Qiu Shui sat up, her intense sleepiness replaced by excitement.

"real?"

"Sizzle... sizzle..."

A plate, covered with a lid, was spun out of the room from outside via a wheel, with a pair of chopsticks beside it.

Sitting on the bed, a plate was placed in front of her by a small robotic arm. The lid was opened, revealing a plate of grilled salmon!

Wipe my hands, pick up my chopsticks, and carefully pick up a slice of fish from the plate. The light red fish slice is coated with breadcrumbs on both sides, each grain clearly visible. When you pick it up, you can see the golden breadcrumbs and the fish slice in the middle.

The crispy exterior and tender interior of the fish awakened her dormant taste buds.

"Where did it come from?"

She asked curiously.

“There’s a ‘fishing village’ restaurant nearby. I placed an order half an hour ago and it was just delivered to my dormitory.”

The electronic butler answered.

Qiu Shui squinted her eyes contentedly, feeling every cell in her body come alive.

It tastes so good!

"It's rare that you still remember."

She was filled with emotion.

Luoyi is a special city. It is not the most economically prosperous city, nor the city with the richest historical heritage, but it is the only city with complete mechanical coverage.

When Luo Yi started working on mechanical equipment, she was only five years old. At that time, asphalt roads were replaced by information overpasses, and ordinary equipment was replaced by highly convenient small machines.

Back then, there was a small shop at the crossroads not far from home. I can't remember what it was called, but I do remember that my sister often took me there to eat.

Their signature dish was grilled salmon, but unfortunately, the restaurant was demolished during the city's redevelopment, and she never tasted that delicious flavor again.

She ate the salmon with care; although it didn't taste as delicious as it used to, it was still a great comfort to her.

Soon the plate was empty, she wiped her mouth, got up, and packed her things for class.

"So now..."

"Click".

A faint sound entered her ears, and she paused in her actions, looking out warily. Several dark figures could be vaguely seen through the glass door.

"Crack—!!"

A deafening crash rang out, and Qiu Shui tensed up. A crack appeared in the glass door. Another punch shattered the glass completely, pieces falling to the ground. A hole appeared in the glass door, and a burly man stood there, staring at her.

Her heart was pounding, and Qiu Shui forced herself to calm down.

"Who are you?!"

Her fingers quickly groped under the covers, and she soon found something with a metallic feel. She quietly put it on her wrist and pressed a button.
