Chapter 104 Leaving Home

After Ling Yun returned home, Song Mu also had a good rest.

Song Mu got up, but Lin Qiu didn't notice because he was sleeping too deeply.

Ling Yun nodded to Song Mu, then sat on the edge of the kang to watch over Lin Qiu. Song Mu put on the animal skin and left the house under the cover of night.

"Song Mu, why are you here?"

The two orcs guarding Rong Qian saw Song Mu and greeted him.

Rong Qian was imprisoned in a narrow cave in the tribe, and two males were guarding the cave entrance at all times, one on the left and one on the right.

"Ling Yun asked me to come and pick him up. You can go back now."

The two believed Song Mu's words without a doubt and patted him on the shoulder: "Is Lin Qiu okay?"

"She's fine and is resting now."

"Okay, let's go home first."

"I still hope that the clan leader can punish Rong Qian in public, otherwise it would be too easy for this traitor."

Song Mu didn't say anything, and the two guards left first.

Song Mu entered the cave and saw Rong Qian lying on the ground like a maggot, struggling to raise his head. His eyes were filled with despair and hope.

"Are you here to kill me?"

When Rong Qian said this, his tone contained a hint of expectation and relief.

Song Mu curled his lips and sneered: "Kill you? Are you dreaming?"

Rong Qian narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean? I've already told Ling Yun everything he wanted to know. He promised me that as long as I told him, he wouldn't torture me anymore!"

Rong Qian was a little excited, his entire face was bulging with blue veins, his limbs were weak, he could only struggle to lift his chin, his neck became red and thick due to congestion.

"That's Ling Yun's business, it has nothing to do with me."

Song Mu glared at Rong Qian's embarrassment, his cold eyes were exactly the same as Ling Yun's two days ago, which made Rong Qian feel afraid.

He thought that the worst that could happen to him was death, and this fear was even deeper than the fear of death itself.

Song Mu transformed into a beast, picked up Rong Qian, and flew out of the tribe.

The tribal guards were stunned and shouted at him, "Songmu, Songmu! What are you doing?! Why did you take Rong Qian away? Does the tribe leader know?"

Song Mu did not stop for a moment. The guard thought that what Song Mu was about to do might be arranged by Ling Yun. After all, the two were brothers and now lived in the same female family. There was no way they would do anything to betray the patriarch and the tribe.

He did not try to stop Song Mu, and generally speaking, the guards at the gate only allowed people in and not out.

Rong Qian stretched his neck, not knowing where Song Mu was going to take him.

When Lin Qiu woke up, he found that Song Mu beside him had turned into Ling Yun. Ling Yun was like a big tiger, sleeping soundly with her wrapped in his body. Lin Qiu leaned against him and could hear Ling Yun's tiny snoring.

Ling Yun must have been exhausted from all the work these days.

Lin Qiu reached out and touched the tiger's back, then held Ling Yun in his arms.

Ling Yun felt Lin Qiu's movement, opened his eyes and saw that she was awake, and licked Lin Qiu's cheek.

"Have you had enough sleep?"

Ling Yun yawned with his tongue rolled up and spoke in a lazy voice.

Lin Qiu said, "I've had enough sleep. Did I disturb your sleep? Have you rested well?"

Ling Yun said, "I've been sleeping for a while, and it's already daybreak. Are you hungry? I'll make you something to eat."

"Isn't Song Mu at home?"

"Well, he's out."

"Okay, but I'm not very hungry now. Please lie down with me for a while."

Lin Qiu touched the tiger's head, and Ling Yun rubbed his head against Lin Qiu's neck.

"Xiao Qiu, I miss you so much."

Ling Yun acted coquettishly, and Lin Qiu pinched his soft ears and couldn't help but smile: "Stop rubbing, it's itchy."

"Xiao Qiu..."

Ling Yun gently touched Lin Qiu's cheek with the tip of his nose.

Lin Qiu scratched Ling Yun's chin and said, "Okay, be good. I can't make trouble with you now."

Lin Qiu was about to give birth, and she didn't want anything to go wrong because of playing with Ling Yun.

Ling Yun stood still and let Lin Qiu stroke his fur.

"Try to comfort Song Mu. He doesn't seem to be in a good mood and still seems to be blaming himself. You know you can't blame him for what happened this time."

Lin Qiu said as he stroked Ling Yun's fur.

"Comfort him? He's a male, why would he need comfort? He's not that fragile. Just give him a few more days to think about it. It will be fine once he figures it out."

Ling Yun felt that this was unnecessary and didn't want Lin Qiu to spend his time worrying about it. For a moment, he felt that Song Mu was too troublesome and was making Lin Qiu worry about him.

Lin Qiu patted Hutou's head and said, "Just go if I tell you to. You're brothers after all! Songmu is different from you. He's a thoughtful person. When I try to comfort him, he only agrees with me. Maybe he's afraid I'll worry, so he won't tell me anything."

"Okay, okay, I'll talk to him then."

Ling Yun didn't take it seriously, but when Song Mu didn't return to the tribe for two days, Ling Yun started to worry. Could it be that this kid had become depressed and ran away from home?

"Did Sumire really not tell you where he went?"

Lin Qiu was also very worried about Song Mu.

"In theory, he was going to deal with Rong Qian. Although I promised him a quick death, I didn't feel happy about it, so I handed this matter over to Song Mu."

Who knows what this guy is going to do? Just tie Song Mu up somewhere and torture her. Why hasn't he come home in all these days?

Ling Yun was worried all the time because Song Mu was not at home. He could only stay at home to take care of Lin Qiu every day. He asked Teng Ning to convey any matters concerning the tribe on his behalf.

Song Mu's tiger teeth pierced Rong Qian's shoulder, and it galloped through the woods with Rong Qian in its mouth. Rong Qian's broken feet had been dragged on the ground for several days, and had been worn out to the point of white bones.

"Song Mu, what are you going to do?! Kill me! Kill me!"

Rong Qian wanted to provoke Song Mu into a suicidal state. "I know you hate me. If you hadn't fallen for my trick, your female wouldn't have been taken away. The last time you forced her, it was Ling Yun who interceded for you, so you could stay in the tribe, right? After what happened this time, Lin Qiu must hate you terribly. Ling Yun can't save you, right?"

Song Mu seemed not to have heard his provocation and continued to move through the forest.

Rong Qian's wound seemed to have numbed the pain. He continued to taunt, "You hate me, you hate me. I know you're having a hard time, and I've avenged my father! You forced my mother to remove my father's beast mark. Now I'm afraid you'll have to face the same... uh..."

Rong Qian was thrown to the ground by Song Mu.

"Heh..." Rong Qian looked at Song Mu's expression, thinking that he had reached the end of his patience and was finally going to give himself a quick death.

"come out."

Song Mu's voice was cold. After he finished speaking, there was no sound for a long while.

"Who are you talking to?"

"Come out. I know you're hiding in the tree. I'm not here to kill you."

After Song Mu finished speaking, a while later, a rustling sound came from the branches of a tall tree, and a dark green giant snake as thick as a bowl snake snaked down.
