Chapter 468: Final Chapter Under the Statue

In 1681, Princess Kunxing finally closed her eyes and ended her life. Her husband, Prince Li, personally carried the coffin to the mausoleum at the Shanghai County Pier.

By this time, the mausoleum had been completed and was waiting for its owner.

Five hundred years later, a boy came to the Queen's tomb on a boat. From far out on the sea, he could see the huge bronze statue of Princess Kunxing, holding a sword and gazing into the distance.

After five hundred years of vicissitudes, the golden bronze statue has long since rusted and turned a greenish-blue color.

The tour guide in front brought a group of people to visit, including white people, Indians, and a small number of black people.

The tour guide said: "In front is the statue of the Empress of the Ming Empire, which is also her mausoleum. Even after two world wars, it was not destroyed.

When it was built, it was intended that her spirit would protect this land. I believe she succeeded, as even during the two world wars, the Ming Dynasty suffered no major destruction. Therefore, all the people of the Ming Dynasty believed that the Empress was protecting them, and the incense here is very prosperous.

When you get off the boat, you can buy three sticks of incense, but don't light them. Just place them on the altar!"

The boy walked up to the tour guide and asked, "Two world wars? Why did so many countries become enemies of the Ming Dynasty?"

"Oh, it's because of interests! Because China's Ming Dynasty occupied the most resources in the world, had the largest population, and possessed the world's most advanced technology. They were unwilling to be the Ming Dynasty's younger brother, so they formed an alliance to fight against the Ming Dynasty. The first time they were defeated, the Ming Dynasty won an absolute victory, and these countries could not raise their heads for two hundred years. The second time, the Ming Dynasty won a tragic victory, and overseas countries became independent one after another. Now only the countries around the Ming Dynasty are still paying tribute, and other countries have obtained the right to interact with the Ming Dynasty on an equal footing." The tour guide explained patiently.

"Thank you! I'm not good at history!" said the boy embarrassedly.

A white guy next to me said with a smile, "Was your history taught by a physical education teacher?" He spoke with an authentic Beijing accent.

"Hey! Where are you from, buddy?" asked an Indian boy.

"I'm from the Li Dynasty in North America! Where are you from?" asked the white guy.

"I'm from the Ming Dynasty in South America!" said the Indian boy.

The boy watched people talking and laughing as they headed towards the statue of the Queen.

Before getting off the boat, the boy threw the jade pendant in his hand into the sea. It was engraved with the words "back and forth"!

The end of the play!
