Chapter 10 Counterattack

If I don’t teach Wang Guifen a lesson, this old witch will really think that her family members are soft persimmons!

When Wang Guifen was about to reach her home, Yu Bai picked up a few egg-sized stones from the roadside and hid behind a big locust tree.

Then she raised the stone in her hand and smashed it hard on Wang Guifen's calf.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Three dull sounds were heard, and each stone hit Wang Guifen's calf accurately.

After succeeding, Yu Bai flashed into the space, as fast as a gust of wind.

Wang Guifen's leg was hit, and she felt both pain and numbness. The next second, she fell heavily to the ground.

As luck would have it, there was a pit where she fell. The moment she fell into the pit, there was a loud snap and Wang Guifen's leg was broken!

The piercing pain made her scream like a pig being slaughtered: "Ouch! My legs! My legs!"

While screaming, she struggled to look back, but found that there was nothing behind her.

Wang Guifen was stunned, and somehow, Yu Bai's sinister words emerged in her mind.

Suddenly, I felt a chill in my heart.

At this moment, a strange scream and cry came from behind the locust tree, which was shrill and creepy, like a wronged ghost seeking revenge.

“Ah—a ghost!”

Wang Guifen was frightened by the sound, but she could not move. She could only wave her hands around and scream at the top of her lungs.

The neighbors around heard the noise and hurried out to check.

Everyone was shocked by the scene.

"Aunt Wang, what's wrong with you?" a woman asked bravely.

"Ghost...there is a ghost...there is a ghost..." Wang Guifen pointed at the locust tree tremblingly, her eyes full of fear.

Everyone looked in the direction of her finger, but they only saw an ordinary locust tree standing in the night wind. Where was the ghost?

"You must have fallen down and got confused, didn't you?" another neighbor said. "It's just a tree. How could there be a ghost?"

"There really is a ghost... I heard... crying... and... and..." Wang Guifen's voice was trembling and incoherent, and she was obviously very scared.

Everyone looked at each other, and began to wonder in their hearts.

Could it be... that Wang Guifen has really been possessed by an evil spirit?

Yu Bai, who was hiding in the space, looked at this scene with a sneer on his face.

This trick of "playing tricks" really works!

Wang Guifen, this is just the beginning!
