Lu Li looked around in confusion and saw several young men dressed in coarse linen clothes lying on the ground, looking at him in terror.
A boy was lying on the ground groaning, seemingly having just been beaten up.
"Who...are you?" Lu Li asked in a hoarse voice.
"It's...it's come back to life!"
"Run...run!"
The young men scrambled and stumbled as they ran out of the village. Lu Li was taken aback, and a sense of doubt arose in his heart as he watched their panicked and haphazard manner.
The boy who had been lying on the ground groaning earlier also came to his senses and looked at Lu Li. The two stared at each other, wide-eyed.
"Are you... a human... or a ghost?" the boy asked, his voice trembling.
He wanted to run away, but he had been badly beaten up before, and now his legs were so weak with fear that he couldn't move at all.
Lu Li climbed out of the coffin, stretched his stiff body, and then slowly walked to him, squatted down, and helped the boy up.
"Of course I'm human!"
The boy swallowed hard, feeling the warmth of Lu Li's palm, and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"How...how did you crawl out of the coffin?"
Lu Li gave a bitter smile. He didn't know how to explain this, and then asked, "Where is the person who buried me? Where is she?"
To everyone's surprise, the boy was taken aback, then said weakly, "I don't know, these three graves have been here for hundreds of years!"
Upon hearing the boy's words, Lu Li's heart skipped a beat!
Centuries! ???
How is that possible?
He suddenly stood up and looked around, only to find that there were two other graves next to his.
Although none of them had tombstones, there was one he would never forget: Little Deer's grave!
Lu Li's head rang with a loud bang, as if he had been struck by lightning.
"Several hundred years...several hundred years have passed?" Lu Li murmured to himself, his face pale.
The boy looked at Lu Li, as if he had guessed something, and whispered, "You...you're not really dead, are you?"
Lu Li was startled and turned around sharply to stare at him, without answering the boy's question.
Instead, she immediately asked, "What dynasty are we in now? How long has it been since the Qin Dynasty?"
The boy scratched his head, puzzled, and slowly said, "Han...Han Dynasty, it's the second year of Guanghe now!"
"It seems like four hundred years have passed since the Qin Dynasty."
Upon hearing this, Lu Li felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She staggered backward, tears instantly streaming down her face.
"Four hundred years...four hundred years..."
He muttered to himself, his eyes vacant and lifeless.
Lu Li felt dizzy and disoriented, and many fragments flashed through his mind, but he couldn't grasp anything.
Lu Li shook his head, unwilling to accept such a cruel reality. Tears blurred his vision, making it difficult for him to see the scene before him, and he almost fainted.
He murmured in anguish, "Why? Why?"
Seeing Lu Li's pained expression, the boy realized he wasn't a ghost, and thankfully, he didn't run away.
Instead, he continued, "Our ancestors taught us that our descendants must protect these three tombs for generations to come..."
"But why...why did you crawl out of your grave?"
The boy scratched his head, looking at Lu Li with some confusion.
Lu Li closed his eyes, took a deep breath, suppressed his emotions, and when he opened his eyes again, he had regained some composure.
"Your ancestors? Who were your ancestors?" Lu Li asked.
"Speaking of my ancestors, they were quite remarkable!"
"My ancestor was Zhang Liang, one of the three heroes of the early Han Dynasty! The strategist Zhang Liang!" the boy said excitedly.
The Three Heroes of the Early Han Dynasty?
Upon hearing this name, Lu Li's mind went blank.
Junior brother! This young man is actually a descendant of junior brother?
But what he didn't understand was why his junior brother still became Liu Bang's strategist.
Did Liu Bang not die?
Impossible! Absolutely impossible!
Although the lightning bolt was mostly blocked by the dark clouds, its residual power was something that an ordinary person like Liu Bang could not withstand.
He's definitely going to die!
Even Xiang Yu, who was a minor master, probably wouldn't have survived!
Lu Li's mind was in chaos, and everything became confusing. He used himself as bait to lure the Heavenly Dao into the game, thinking that he could defy fate!
They killed Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, but in the end, the Qin Dynasty forgot that the Han Dynasty lasted for four hundred years.
"The second year of the Guanghe era... Emperor Ling of Han! The late Eastern Han Dynasty!!!"
Lu Li suddenly realized that he was currently in the late Eastern Han Dynasty!
No! !
impossible! !
Lu Li shook his head desperately, refusing to accept this fact.
Seeing Lu Li's condition, the boy called out worriedly, "Hey, are you alright?"
Lu Li raised his head blankly, looking at the boy as if he saw the shadow of Zhang Liang, and then asked, "What's your name...?"
"Um... my name is Leif!"
Lu Li looked at Leifu, who was dressed in tattered clothes and was very thin, seemingly very poor, but Lu Li felt very close to him.
Seeing Lu Li staring blankly at him, Leif couldn't help but ask, "Hey, are you out of your mind?"
"No! My name is... Lu Li!"
"Um... whatever your name is, could you please put on some clothes first?" Leif secretly pointed at Lu Li.
Only then did Lu Li realize that he was completely naked!
"Holy crap!"
Lu Li circulated his inner energy, raised his hand and waved it, unleashing a sword aura that severed the branches of a nearby tree, using the leaves to cover his vital parts.
