When Lu Li returned to his room, he found the lights on, and Dian Wei's massive body was anxiously peering out the door, his eyes filled with worry.
Laifu stood behind Lu Li and said softly, "Master, you still have me and Tiezhu!"
Lu Li glanced at Lai Fu and Tie Zhu, and a smile appeared on his face.
Since he woke up, this was the only thing that made him feel warm; he had taken on two good apprentices.
Upon seeing Lu Li return, Dian Wei immediately went to greet him and anxiously asked, "Master, Senior Brother, where have you been? I've been waiting for you here for so long, but you haven't shown up!"
Leif quickly stepped forward and teased, "You silly goose, why are you looking for your master so late at night instead of sleeping? Tell me, are you trying to steal my teachings!"
"I...I just got up to pee, I didn't mean to steal anything!"
"Pshaw, I don't believe it!"
Watching his two apprentices playfully bickering, Lu Li gradually relaxed.
"Alright, go back to sleep now."
