Sun Jian's face was grim. Lu Bu's words had filled him with intense unease; this was a recipe for disaster.
"Hahaha, Lü Bu, what a fine example of loyalty to the Prime Minister! You traitor who has served three masters, how dare you spout such nonsense here?" Ma Teng couldn't help but curse angrily.
The other feudal lords also smiled.
"You're asking for it!"
Lu Bu's eyes widened, and he instantly swung his halberd, thrusting it fiercely towards Ma Teng.
"Clang!"
Ma Chao quickly blocked with his spear, angrily shouting, "You want to kill my father? You'll have to get past me first!"
Riding on his Red Hare, Lü Bu looked down at Ma Chao, thinking how a nobody dared to speak so arrogantly to him.
"Get lost!" Lu Bu drew his halberd and slashed down. The powerful wind made Ma Chao's cheek sting. He hurriedly raised his spear to block, but was sent flying backward.
Lu Bu, however, had no intention of letting him go. His halberd transformed into a phantom as he charged toward Ma Chao, seemingly intent on cutting him down from his horse.
"Don't hurt my son!" Ma Teng rushed over and thrust out his spear.
"clang!"
The two weapons clashed, and Ma Teng was knocked back several steps.
"Since you want to die, I'll grant your wish!"
At this moment, Lu Bu's aura suddenly exploded, and he became like a raging beast, terrifying people. Moreover, the murderous aura emanating from his body made people tremble with fear.
Ma Chao and Ma Teng both had slight changes in expression. They both knew that Lü Bu was very strong, but only now, seeing him in person, did they truly realize just how formidable he was.
"Die!" Lu Bu swung his halberd down, but Ma Teng suddenly stepped in front of Ma Chao, raising his spear to block.
Lu Bu cleaved his spear in two and smashed it into Ma Teng's head, instantly shattering Ma Teng's skull, splattering blood everywhere, leaving no trace of his body.
This horrific scene stunned everyone.
"Father!" Ma Chao knelt on the ground and wailed.
