Lu Li raised his head, looked into the distance, and murmured, "It has finally come to this!"
The Battle of Guandu was crucial in determining the fate of the nation.
If they win, the various warlords will no longer have the strength to resist the Yellow Turban Army, and then they can advance unimpeded.
If defeated, the Yellow Turban Army will be divided and devoured by various warlords!
But Lu Li was fearless. In this life, his goal was to lead the Yellow Turban Army to pacify the world.
Now that he's getting closer and closer to his dream, how could he possibly give up?
On the evening of the third day, the Allied forces indeed gathered in one place, preparing for a desperate battle!
However, Lu Li summoned Leifu late at night.
"Master, what are your instructions?" Leifu asked respectfully as he stood before Lu Li.
Lu Li smiled and slowly stood up, taking out the pigeon soup that he had prepared earlier.
"I made you some pigeon soup, drink it quickly."
Leif's eyes lit up immediately. He loved Lu Li's pigeon soup the most because it was the first time they met that Lu Li made pigeon soup for him.
"I've been craving this for so long!" Leif couldn't wait to sit down at the table and start drinking. His satisfied expression was like that of a child, which made Lu Li chuckle.
When he first met Ralph, he was just a teenager; now he's almost forty.
"How is it? Is it good?" Lu Li asked.
Leif nodded and exclaimed, "Delicious! Absolutely delicious!"
After finishing his soup, Lu Li slowly stood up and said, "Come with me."
Leif was puzzled, but he still followed Lu Li out of the room.
The two wandered aimlessly, Lu Li strolling leisurely as if taking a walk.
This puzzled Leif. Lu Li was acting strangely today, making him pigeon soup and taking him for a walk.
Lu Li smiled faintly, turned around and asked Leifu, "Who do you think will win between us and the Allied Forces?"
Leif paused for a moment, then shook his head uncertainly.
"On the battlefield, things can change in an instant, and no one can predict what will happen."
Lu Li sighed. Yes, war always brings casualties.
"Master, has your strength not recovered yet?" Leif suddenly thought of something and asked with some concern.
Lu Li shook his head and said, "If the water cannot be drained, I cannot condense the flowing qi."
"But within my body, there seems to be a flow of Qi that is beyond my control."
"Uncontrolled Qi flow? What is that?" Leif asked nervously.
"I don't know either. It's not under anyone's control and can't be managed."
"Forget it, let's not talk about this anymore."
Lu Li shook his head with a wry smile, then said to Leifu, "I hope you will keep what I am about to tell you in mind and never forget it."
“Yes, Master!” Leif said solemnly.
"In this great battle, the Heavenly Dao is very likely to intervene."
"Just like when I wanted to kill Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, and in the final battle between Wang Mang and Liu Xiu, Heaven sent down a meteorite!"
"These are all very likely to happen."
Leif's eyes flickered, and he asked in a low voice, "Then what should we do?"
He didn't understand why Heaven would do this. Although he knew that Lu Li had lived for over four hundred years, he didn't know anything else, let alone what Lu Li was burdened with.
"The reason we were able to win the last Battle of Red Cliffs was because I restrained the will of Heaven."
"This time, I will have to restrain the Heavenly Dao."
Upon hearing Lu Li's words, Leif's expression changed drastically.
"Master! You don't even have any Qi left, how can you..."
Lu Li waved his hand, interrupting Leif.
"As your teacher, I have my own way."
“I have written down all the potential dangers of war on this scroll, including how to march and deploy troops.” Lu Li took out a scroll from his sleeve and handed it to Leifu.
"Master..."
Leif's eyes welled up with tears, because he knew that Lu Li was making his final arrangements.
Lu Li patted his shoulder and said softly, "Work hard and turn your dreams into reality. Even if you fail in the end, you must become a pioneer!"
"Your disciple obeys!"
Leif replied in a deep voice, knowing that Lu Li had already made up his mind.
Two tears slid down his cheeks; even this tough and unyielding man began to cry.
"Master, you...you must come back!"
Lu Li was taken aback, then smiled wryly and said, "Don't forget, your master is an immortal being. He can't die even if he wants to."
Upon hearing Lu Li's words, Leifu wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes and revealed a slight smile.
Looking at him, Lu Li couldn't help but smile. "Alright, go back and rest, and prepare for tomorrow's great battle!"
"Um!"
Leif nodded heavily, then walked out of the house. He didn't dare to look back, afraid that if he did, he would be unable to resist persuading Lu Li not to go.
As Lu Li watched Leifu leave, his gaze gradually hardened.
At that moment, he felt his whole body filled with boundless power.
This power comes from his belief!
"Leifu, your teacher will shield you from all storms!"
Lu Li's lips moved as she murmured softly.
The next morning, the Yellow Turban soldiers were already fully prepared to set off.
The rest and recuperation over the past few days have invigorated the Yellow Turban soldiers and boosted their morale.
"Set off!"
At Leif's command, the Yellow Turban army marched eastward in a mighty force.
The allied forces had already set off for Guandu, and a major battle was imminent, with the two armies standing facing each other.
"Laifu, it's been a long time," Dong Zhuo said, spurring his horse forward.
