Chapter 14: Did he recover quickly from his serious injuries?

When Cangwu saw Lu Li covered in blood, he instantly flew into a rage. As if no one else was there, he swung his arms around the two corpses on the ground.

This scene startled Wei Zhuang, who immediately gasped.

"Hiss~ Who is this person? He's incredibly fierce!"

He was confident in his unparalleled swordsmanship, his speed as fast as lightning. Yet, before this man, he appeared somewhat pale and powerless.

As the saying goes, one force can overcome ten techniques; there are very few people in the world as strong as Cangwu.

"Could it be someone whom the heavens are jealous of?"

Just as Wei Zhuang was wondering what was going on, Cang Wu had already killed so many people that only one remained.

For the enraged Cangwu, this was nothing short of a massacre.

The last assassin had completely lost the will to fight, and his eyes revealed a deep sense of despair.

They never expected that Lu Li would have such a powerful figure by his side.

Cangwu had already walked up to the assassin and grabbed his head with both hands.

"die!"

Just then, Lu Li quickly shouted, "Spare his life!"

But Lu Li was too late. The next second, Cangwu twisted the assassin's head off.

After Lu Li shouted those words, everything went black before his eyes, and he could no longer hold on, collapsing headfirst to the ground.

"Brother Lu!" Cangwu rushed anxiously toward Lu Li.

Wei Zhuang quickly stepped forward, but Cang Wu suddenly stared at him with a fierce expression.

"I...I just saved him."

Wei Zhuang swallowed hard; the aura emanating from Cangwu sent chills down his spine.

Although Cangwu is not very intelligent, his combat alertness is extraordinary. If he hadn't failed to sense the killing intent emanating from Wei Zhuang, he would have killed Wei Zhuang just now.

"I can check how badly he is injured."

Cangwu nodded, but his eyes remained fixed on Wei Zhuang.

Wei Zhuang quickly stepped forward to check Lu Li's injuries. Although they looked rather severe, there was nothing seriously wrong; they were all just superficial wounds.

But the worst wound was on his arm, where the bone was visible.

Wei Zhuang quickly tore a piece of cloth from his clothes and bandaged Lu Li's wound. He then pressed the cloth firmly against Lu Li's body several times, and miraculously, the bleeding stopped.

"Quickly, take him to see a doctor," Wei Zhuang said.

Cangwu carried Lu Li on his back and said, "Master can save Brother Lu, I want to go back to Yunmeng Mountain to find Master!"

Upon hearing the name Yunmeng Mountain, Wei Zhuang's eyes lit up, as he had come to Yunmeng Mountain to become a disciple.

Unexpectedly, he ran into a disciple of Yunmeng Mountain, but he didn't know Lu Li's identity.

"Alright, I'll go back to Yunmeng Mountain with you!"

Cangwu ignored Wei Zhuang and carried Lu Li on his back, heading towards Yunmeng Mountain.

When Lu Li opened his eyes again, he had returned to Yunmeng Mountain. Lu Li, who was lying on the bed, slowly stood up, but did not feel any discomfort in his body.

"Brother Lu! You're finally awake."

Lu Li looked up at the sound and saw the little deer standing at the door with a basin of water, her face full of worry.

"How long... have I been unconscious?" Lu Li asked weakly.

"Brother Lu, you've been unconscious for eight whole days!"

Upon hearing Xiao Lu'er's answer, Lu Li was immediately stunned. This was outrageous—eight days! He had actually been unconscious for eight days.

"Little deer, is there anything to eat? I'm so hungry."

At this point, Lu Li was so hungry that his stomach was practically sticking to his back, and he could barely speak.

"Yes, I'll go get it for you."

After saying that, Little Deer turned and ran outside. At this moment, Lu Li curiously unwrapped the gauze on his body and found that all the wounds on his body had disappeared.

He remembered being attacked by about fifty assassins and suffering severe injuries, his entire body covered in blood.

But now there isn't a single wound on his body, as if he had never experienced that battle at all.

"What's going on?" Lu Li looked at his flawless skin with some confusion and fell into deep thought.

Even a broken bone takes a hundred days to heal, let alone such a serious injury, yet nothing seems to happen, except for a feeling of hunger.

After a while, the little deer came running back with the food.

Lu Li couldn't care less about anything else and started stuffing the food into his mouth. At this moment, Little Deer noticed that the wounds on Lu Li's body had disappeared.

"Huh, is that old ghost's medicinal bath really that miraculous? Brother Lu, you're completely cured?"

Eight days ago, when Lu Li was brought back by Cangwu, his wounds were shocking. If Wei Zhuang hadn't used his acupoints to draw blood, he probably would have died from excessive bleeding.

"A medicinal bath?" Lu Li asked curiously.

Little Deer nodded and said, "That old ghost somehow got hold of a bunch of medicinal herbs and put you in there. You only soaked in them twice, yet you recovered so quickly?"

Not only was Little Deer puzzled, but Lu Li was also very puzzled.

Just kidding. Even with today's advanced medical technology, things that are impossible to do now, could have been done more than two thousand years ago?

But Lu Li couldn't care less about that now, because he was so hungry that he finished all the food in less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, and he still felt incredibly hungry.

So the little deer brought him a lot of food, and Guiguzi, upon hearing the news, also came to Lu Li's room.

He was also surprised when he saw Lu Li.

"Your injuries are completely healed?"

"Huh? Old ghost, didn't it work because of your medicinal bath?" Little Deer asked.

Guiguzi glared at Xiaolu'er and said, "What nonsense are you talking about? He suffered such severe external injuries that even with daily medicinal baths, it's impossible for him to be fully healed in eight days."
