This was the first time Zhou Wanxiu had ever witnessed the two of them being intimate.
Clearly, the initiative was in Lu Xingjian's hands.
He held her hands with one hand to prevent her from making a fuss, and with the other hand he wrapped around her neck and lifted her chin.
She had no choice but to tilt her head back to receive his passion.
She had never seen him so engrossed and absorbed.
That must be how much love.
How much enjoyment!
Maggie stood behind Zhou Wanxiu, her face streaked with tears.
How I wish that the woman receiving his passionate kiss in his arms was myself.
She had seduced him many times.
He seemed somewhat interested, but always remained within the bounds of propriety.
She thought he respected her and didn't want her to lose her virginity before marrying her.
Han people always insist on all sorts of rules and regulations, which is incredibly annoying.
turn out to be.
There must be someone else who allows him to break through any constraints of etiquette and morality.
In broad daylight, they were so intimate.
Even knowing that someone was standing at the door watching, they still didn't restrain themselves at all.
No.
She was certain that he admired her.
She couldn't let another woman take him away; he belonged to her, Maggie!
Jealousy twisted her bright and flamboyant face.
Only after the door closed again and the footsteps outside faded away did Lu Xingjian release Su Wanwan, who was almost out of breath.
He scoffed, "Silly boy, how come you still can't learn to breathe properly?"
Su Wanwan's face was flushed, her legs felt weak, and she leaned against him like a boneless mermaid.
Her eyes were misty, as if covered with dew, as she looked at him with a dreamy gaze.
Lu Xingjian felt a chill run down his spine, his Adam's apple bobbed, and he whispered:
I need to marry you as soon as possible.
"I can't marry him."
Su Wanwan's voice sounded like she was drunk, soft and sweet, with a hint of coquettishness.
"Um?"
Lu Xingjian thought he had misheard.
It was supposed to be three months, but only a little over a month has passed.
This guy probably changed his mind again and attracted some unwanted romantic attention.
"The Xie family has come to propose marriage."
Su Wanwan tilted her head.
Lu Xingjian raised an eyebrow.
really.
They're really restless.
This "young widow" is really good at seducing people.
He mentally reviewed the prominent Xie family members and quickly locked onto his target:
"The Xie family of Yuyao, Xie Tanhua?"
Su Wanwan did not deny it.
Instead, she slightly pouted, adopting an indifferent attitude:
“My father has already agreed to the marriage proposal. You’re late, so don’t blame me.”
Lu Xingjian narrowed his eyes slightly.
I was somewhat displeased.
But when I heard her say that it was no wonder, my mood inexplicably improved.
He thought to himself: You're such a white cotton ball.
The bad guys are always played by others.
I only saw myself as weak, pitiful, and helpless.
He even betrayed his own father.
Aren't you afraid I'll get angry and cause trouble for your father?
For some reason, he felt as light and carefree as if a spring breeze had swept over him, and he wanted to hum a little tune.
He paused before saying, "This isn't the first time the Xie family has tried to touch a tiger's whiskers."
The Xie family really has some nerve to try and steal his wife.
He simply picked her up, sat on a nearby couch, placed her on his lap, and scrutinized her with his gaze:
"Besides the Xie family, who else is there? Explain clearly, so that no one escapes the net."
"It's gone."
"Really?" The man looked her up and down, as if he didn't believe her.
I've never seen anyone more alluring than her.
From princes to guards.
What a romantic and talented scholar, what a dashing and outstanding scholar!
Each one of them is outstanding.
Before you know it, she's either flirting with someone or talking about marriage and settling down for life.
The most unfaithful and fickle person is the one who betrays his country.
Su Wanwan wanted to get off his lap.
"My wife, you mustn't be fickle anymore." He narrowed his eyes.
Su Wanwan had just stood up when she stopped, looked at him seriously, and said, "I am not your wife."
"Who are you."
"no."
Su Wanwan really wanted to ask, "If I am your wife, then what about Ma Ji, who is always by your side?"
But on what grounds does she ask this question?
The words were on the tip of her tongue, but she swallowed them back and simply lowered her head to straighten the collar of her clothes that he had loosened.
Lu Xingjian's gaze fell on her tidying up her clothes, his eyes changed slightly, and his voice became a little hoarse.
"It will be soon."
Su Wanwan didn't argue with him, she just asked:
"Are you going to eat before you leave, or are you leaving now?"
Lu Xingjian was very straightforward:
"Let's go now, we have something to do back home."
Su Wanwan wasn't surprised. He rarely ate casually when he was out, and eating here was just for show; everyone was tired.
She didn't come out of the side room until a while after Lu Xingjian left.
The maid who was supposed to make her tea had long since disappeared.
The banquet in the flower hall hasn't started yet.
As Su Wanwan quietly sat down, Zhou An stroked his gray beard and greeted everyone with a smile:
"Let the feast begin."
Su Wanwan looked around the women's area and, sure enough, Ma Ji was nowhere to be seen.
They really do go out and do things together.
For some reason, she thought of the day when Xia Xueyi caught them in bed together at the East Palace.
In the future, she'll probably have to change roles and become the one waiting outside the door to catch her husband cheating, right?
If things escalate to that point, it would be truly undignified.
The dignified thing to do is not to care.
Try to be generous and virtuous.
Lost in thought, Su Wanwan ate absentmindedly.
After finishing their meal, they drank tea and chatted before the three members of the Su family took their leave.
