"Who are you?"
The newcomer looked up, gave her a deep look, and said nothing.
Only then, with the help of the dim light in the room, could Su Wanwan roughly make out his face.
This face looks familiar!
She must have seen her somewhere before!
But she just couldn't remember.
"You know me?"
"I don't know him," the person said curtly, gesturing for her to follow.
He led her away from the crowds, taking only side streets, and finally turned into a low, dilapidated house.
The courtyard was small, with only a well. The three main rooms were bare, containing only a few musical instruments, a cabinet, and a bed.
"You don't know me, so why did you save me?!"
Su Wanwan was really curious about this person's identity.
He racked his brains, his name almost came to mind, but he just couldn't say it.
The visitor didn't care about her attitude; he simply told her to rest and that he would send her away once things calmed down outside.
As Su Wanwan watched him bend down to fetch water, a name suddenly popped into her mind.
"Liu Qi?!"
The person stopped moving, turned to look at her, and said expressionlessly, "Liu Qi is already dead."
"No, you are Liu Qi!"
The man threw a full bucket of water into the well, the splashing water wetting his clothes. His voice was cold and stern: "Liu Qi is dead!"
Su Wanwan froze.
Memories of Liu Qi slowly surfaced in my mind.
Her eyes were filled with panic and confusion.
He couldn't accept that the person in front of him was the great demon who had turned the Central Plains upside down.
The person who came was provoked by her gaze and slowly walked up to her.
