As the number of times the sheep's leg was cut off gradually increased, the poor short-legged sheep could no longer endure the torment and let out increasingly shrill screams.
Hearing the mournful cries, even Li Yu couldn't help but feel pity for the sheep; he felt that this was perhaps a bit too cruel.
"Oh my goodness, this is already the eighth leg of lamb! Those people inside have such good appetites, they can eat so much!"
As Uncle Lin sighed, he ripped off his chef's hat and grabbed a towel from his shoulder to wipe the sweat dripping from his forehead.
Now that the taste of the lamb leg has been recognized, he no longer needs to pretend to be an expert.
Just then, the back door of the villa was slowly pushed open once again.
The waiter rushed out again with an empty plate, but this time his hair was stained with cream, making him look rather disheveled.
"Miss Su said that the lamb leg was finished again, and she wants you to send another lamb leg in right away!" the waiter said breathlessly.
"Stop rushing me! Can't you see I'm baking it? There's no time like that!"
Uncle Lin used tongs to turn the charcoal fire, constantly rotating the lamb leg on the grill to ensure that every part was heated evenly.
As long as they can keep the customers satisfied, they will never lack business in the future.
That's why Uncle Lin doesn't dare to pursue speed blindly; he tries his best to roast each lamb leg to perfection.
"Alright, bring it in quickly once it's done baking."
The waiter seemed very busy and didn't have time to wait for the lamb leg to cook. After saying that, he turned around and hurriedly went back into the villa.
After seeing the waiter go inside, Uncle Lin began to complain quietly:
"Hurry up, hurry up! It was just baked and you've already finished it! You ate it way too fast!"
Hearing this, Lin Han, who was standing to the side, couldn't help but scratch the back of his head, a simple and honest smile spreading across his face. He turned to Li Yu and echoed her words:
"You bet! These people inside can eat even more than I can! I've never encountered anything like this before."
After a while, once another leg of lamb was roasted, Uncle Lin hurriedly took the leg of lamb off the rack and placed it on a tray next to him.
Then he grabbed a small pinch of seasoning and sprinkled it evenly over the lamb leg, nodding contentedly and gesturing with his chin to Li Yu, saying:
"Hey, you newbie, hurry up and take this plate of roasted lamb leg inside," Uncle Lin said, adding a reminder.
"Be careful, don't sell it!"
Li Yu wasn't really there to help. He just needed to get into the villa, so upon hearing this, he walked over, picked up the tray with the lamb leg, and headed towards the back door of the villa.
As soon as Li Yu pushed open the back door and stepped into the villa, a strong perfume scent immediately wafted into her nostrils.
The strong smell made Li Yu frown; she found it very unpleasant.
Noisy shouts and laughter filled the air as a group of people played around like children.
People come and go under the huge, dazzling crystal chandelier; the villa is simply the epitome of luxury.
Looking around, all I see are vibrant young men and women.
These young people were all dressed in bright and shiny clothes, adorned with gold and silver, and wearing all kinds of sparkling jewelry that Li Yu had never seen before.
Li Yu also noticed that almost every boy and girl was holding a cute cat or dog, and some girls were even holding small, strange-looking but furry creatures.
His gaze swept over the elegantly dressed young men and women, adorned with jewels, as he slowly passed by them, carrying a tray high in the air.
They cuddled and played with their pets, seemingly completely absorbed in their own world, oblivious to everything around them.
Li Yu had a dazed feeling, as if she had suddenly entered another world.
"Hey, waiter who delivers meat, over here!" A girl's voice suddenly came from the opposite corridor.
Li Yu looked up and followed the sound. The girl was holding a snow-white fennec fox and waving at him.
He had no choice but to lift the tray and continue carefully avoiding the passing young men as he walked towards the girl.
As Li Yu passed through the spacious hall in the middle of the villa, she was stunned by the sight before her.
In the very center of the hall stood a huge transparent fish tank, and in the shimmering water, a strange beast resembling a mermaid was swimming leisurely and slowly.
Seemingly noticing Li Yu's gaze, the mermaid also looked towards Li Yu at the same time.
When their eyes met, Li Yu felt an indescribable shock.
The strange beast gave Li Yu the feeling that it was just like a human.
"Waiter, don't just stand there, everyone's still hungry," the girl's voice urged again.
Hearing the urging, Li Yu had no choice but to look away and quickly walk through the hall.
He soon arrived in front of the girl.
A curly-haired girl wearing a red dress and holding a fennec fox was standing next to the sofa waiting for Li Yu.
She had a beautiful face, fair skin, and an innate air of arrogance in her eyes.
"Hey buddy, put the lamb leg here."
The curly-haired girl leaning against the sofa casually pointed to the exquisite low table on the ground.
Li Yu looked down and noticed that there was a gilded low table on the huge carpet under her feet.
He crouched down slightly and carefully placed the tray down.
Just as Li Yu placed the fragrant roasted lamb leg on the table.
Seven or eight cats and dogs, along with several small, furry creatures of various shapes, swarmed in from the surrounding area.
Even the fennec fox in the girl's arms rushed down.
