Li Yu and Lu Fan were both startled; they had unconsciously given their names.
Even though it was their first time interacting, this scene felt strangely familiar.
It's as if a similar scene once happened in some distant time and space.
With a smile on his face, as if he had seen an old friend he hadn't seen for many years, Mingyuan's eyes lit up slightly before he continued speaking to Li Yu and the other person:
"As an 'old friend' of the previous generation of Star Lords, I'm here today to test whether the new Star Lords are qualified to inherit the position."
After saying that, Mingyuan's aura suddenly intensified, and the white mist surrounding him instantly became even denser.
The skeleton beside him gripped its bone spear tightly once more, pointing the spearhead at Lu Fan, its eyes flashing with a fierce light:
"Don't tarnish the reputation of the Star Lord."
Lu Fan instinctively raised his weapon, and lightning surged wildly from his body like a raging river of thunder, causing the surrounding rain to hiss with the flashes of lightning.
The phoenix bow in Li Yu's hand was instantly ignited by flames, and the burning arrows were nocked on the string.
A great battle was about to break out. All four of them assumed fighting stances, and the surrounding air was being frantically compressed by various energies, producing a muffled sound.
"Make your move!" Mingyuan commanded.
The skeleton launched the first attack, its bone spear shooting towards Lu Fan like a meteor.
Having just learned his lesson, Lu Fan was well-prepared. He quickly swung the Chaos Blade, unleashing a burst of pink power that precisely struck the incoming bone spear, easily shattering it.
Without the power of prolonged energy storage, the instantaneous bone spear's lethality is significantly less than the previous fatal strike.
However, to Lu Fan's surprise, the skeleton kept pulling out bone spears from its body, seemingly inexhaustible, and hurled them one after another, attacking Lu Fan like a storm.
The dense bone spears almost completely obscured Lu Fan's vision, and actually suppressed him for a short period of time.
Lu Fan was forced into a passive defensive posture, and could only continuously swing the Chaos Blade to form an absolute defense in front of him, blocking the bone spears that rained down upon him.
The bone spears, which were originally fragile, became stronger with each attack.
Each collision with the bone spear unleashed a powerful energy surge, causing Lu Fan's arm to go slightly numb.
In the end, Lu Fan's chaotic weapon could no longer easily shatter the bone spear. When it collided with the bone spear, it produced a crisp metallic clang and even sparked tiny sparks.
This surprised Lu Fan, who realized that his opponent was no ordinary person.
The skeleton was equally astonished to see its attacks completely blocked.
He reached out again to pull out the bone spear, only to find that the bone spears in his body had been exhausted, and new bone spears were still slowly growing.
The skeleton finally stopped attacking and looked curiously at Lu Fan's right hand:

Lu Fan suddenly had a plan in mind, so he decided to play along and admitted:
"You guessed right."
Upon hearing this, Bai Gu revealed a smug expression, tilting his head slightly as if victory was already assured.
Lu Fan was already a super ability user with numerous talents and abilities. After becoming a Star Lord, his strength increased by leaps and bounds.
Even so, he was overwhelmed by this seemingly ordinary opponent and could hardly breathe.
Just as the bone spears on the skeleton were growing, Lu Fan was enveloped in a burst of lightning.
His eyes flashed with pale blue lightning, with two bolts of lightning flashing rapidly within them.
With a thought, Lu Fan's Chaos Blade instantly expanded, transforming into a massive greatsword whose size increased several times over.
However, none of the people present could see this dramatic change.
"kill!"
Lu Fan deliberately shouted loudly and swung his right hand forcefully.
The greatsword, carrying the force of a thunderbolt, slashed fiercely at the skeleton in front of it.
"It's no use." Upon seeing this, the corners of White Bone's mouth curled up slightly, revealing a disdainful smile.
He was extremely confident in his analysis; Lu Fan's weapon was now completely exposed to him.
The skeleton simply took a step back, believing that the current distance was sufficient to dodge the attack of the invisible sword.
But in the next second, the skeleton's expression changed drastically, and it felt a chill on its waist.
Lu Fan smiled slightly, and the invisible greatsword had already struck the skeleton squarely in the waist.
With another flick of his wrist, a powerful surge of chaotic energy cleaved out from the greatsword.
The force ripped a huge gash through the skeleton's body, instantly cleaving it in two. His upper and lower body briefly separated in mid-air.
Just then, the upper body of the skeleton floating in mid-air suddenly moved, taking the opportunity to launch another attack on Lu Fan.
"die!"
The bone spear in Bai Gu's hand appeared suddenly in front of Lu Fan like a ghost, and stabbed towards his throat with astonishing speed.
