A series of subtle sounds, like melting ice and snow, arose.
The chilling aura that had been lingering in the air was purified by the golden energy.
The eerie fog that had plagued Kangcheng for countless years, and which even Zhongzhou was helpless against and could never dispel, was rapidly fading under the purification of this golden energy, and completely dissipated with the heavy rain.
The original gloomy and oppressive atmosphere was swept away, replaced by an indescribable clarity.
"It's...it's a success!"
Chen Hai rubbed his eyes in disbelief as the area shrouded in thick fog gradually became clearer.

"Ma Yuanbai," Li Yu suddenly spoke in a deep voice.
"You shall immediately assemble a Kangcheng engineering team, giving priority to recruiting Awakened individuals with relevant construction and excavation skills."
"Your primary task is to set up a stronghold outside the mine. It should be divided into three areas: an outer layer with defensive barriers, a middle layer for storage, and an inner layer for handover. It must be very sturdy."
Ma Yuanbai focused intently and memorized it.
Suddenly remembering the number of ghosts in Zhongzhou, Li Yu quickly added:
