Feng Anxue was emotional.
Fu Junheng's aura grew increasingly cold and terrifying, his handsome face seemingly covered with a layer of frost, and even through his black veil, one could feel his icy and piercing gaze.
Lu Hua, who was standing nearby, sensed the suffocating atmosphere and called out cautiously in a trembling voice, "Princess."
"The women I care about are not for others to lecture me on. I don't want to repeat what I just said."
Her voice was so cold it had no warmth whatsoever, and even the air around her seemed to grow icy.
Fu Junheng glanced coldly at Feng Anxue, then stepped aside and strode towards the palace exit.
Feng Anxue stood stiffly in place, tears streaming down her red-rimmed eyes. Her wide eyes were filled with anger and resentment. Her hands hung limply, her fingers clenched tightly under her sleeves, her nails digging into her palms, yet she seemed to feel no pain whatsoever.
Suddenly.
She turned around abruptly and said loudly, "If you knew her true colors, I don't believe you could remain as calm as you are now, Cousin Junheng."
The words were spoken.
Fu Junheng frowned slightly and stopped in his tracks.
Lu Hua understood and quickly led the palace maids out of the palace, closing the door behind them. Only the two of them remained in the vast palace, with wisps of incense smoke swirling around them.
Fu Junheng turned slightly to the side, his cold eyes looking at the person behind him, only to see Feng Anxue unbuttoning her clothes.
His eyes turned cold, and he averted his gaze.
"You think this palace can confine me?"
Feng Anxue reached out and unbuttoned her gorgeous robes and inner garments one by one. "Of course, they can't be confined, but I just want to buy some more time so that Cousin Junheng has a chance to understand me."
Until she was left only with a red bodice and underpants, her snow-white skin exposed.
She walked barefoot toward Fu Junheng. "I was pampered by my father and grew up in the palm of his hand. From childhood to adulthood, I was a princess respected by everyone. So many people longed for me to even glance at them. Princes from other countries were willing to marry into the royal family for me, and some were even willing to cede cities. But I never looked down on such men. I even thought that no man could catch my eye. But that is, until I met you, Cousin Junheng."
Feng Anxue spoke each word carefully, her tone filled with deep emotion and sorrow.
She stopped and stood beside the man, looking up at him. "Until Cousin Junheng, a man as perfect and handsome as you appeared in front of me, my heart began to flutter for the first time. Even if you do nothing and just sit there casually, I can't take my eyes off you. But I don't understand why you won't even give me a glance. What am I lacking? Cousin Junheng, do you know how much I like you? I think that as long as I can be with you, I would even be willing to leave the capital and go back to Shengjing with you."
Every sentence expresses the resentment and affection that have been suppressed in her heart for a long time.
"I only ask that you give me a chance, a chance for you to get to know me." As she spoke, she reached out her hands to hug his strong, muscular waist.
However, the moment her hand touched Fu Junheng's body, it suddenly went empty.
Fu Junheng strode forward, his cold back to Feng Anxue. Despite Feng Anxue's heartfelt confession, his expression remained indifferent throughout.
"Stubborn to the end!"
After coldly uttering those words, he suddenly stopped as he took a step away, his pupils contracted slightly, and he turned around abruptly, his eyes fixed on Feng Anxue with a piercing gaze, exuding an extremely terrifying aura.
Feng Anxue noticed his unusual behavior; it seemed the medicine had taken effect.
"I may be stubborn, but if I can't even have the man I love and can only watch you get close to other women, what's the point of being a princess?" As she spoke, she slowly walked towards Fu Junheng, her affectionate eyes filled with a hint of pain.
"I just want to be with you. Maybe after this night, you'll have different feelings for me."
Feng Anxue reached out to hug Fu Junheng again.
As soon as she reached out, a powerful gust of air accompanied a large hand that gripped her neck tightly.
"You're asking for it!"
The words were almost squeezed out through clenched teeth, and his face was noticeably flushed.
Feng Anxue gripped his arms with both hands, forced to tilt her head back, a wicked smile curving her lips, and said in a strained voice, "Cousin Junheng... do you really... dare to kill me?"
Fu Junheng's arm, which was gripping her neck, was trembling. His narrowed pupils were filled with murderous intent, and his breathing gradually became heavy.
